Objective:To explorethe the clinical manifestations, treatment and prognosis of anastomotic pseudoaneurysm after renal transplantation caused by infection. Methods:Clinical data of 1 recipient with pseudoaneurysm after renal transplantation due to Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection were retrospectively analysed and combined with a literature review. Results:At Month 2 post-transplantation, the recipient developed right lower abdominal pain, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound examination showed a pseudoaneurysm at the artery anastomosis. Anti-infection and anti-rejection therapy had no obvious effect, and therefore next surgical exploration was performed. A size4.0 cm×3.5cm pseudoaneurysm was found intraoperatively at the graft renal artery anastomosis. After graft was evaluated as having no preservation value, the transplanted kidney and pseudoaneurysm were resected. Bacterial culture indicated Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. The recipient recovered well and waited for next transplantation. Conclusions:Pseudoaneurysm of transplanted kidney is a very rare complication after renal transplantation, and caused by infection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa is more rarer, It has not been reported in mainland China. This type of recipient has the characteristics of high graft inactivation rate and high mortality rate. Timely surgical resection can effectively prevent the deterioration of disease.

Objective To explore the application and assess the cosmetic effect of mammaplasty with volume-displacement technique(VDT)following breast conserving surgery. Methods Breast conservation therapy(BCT) was performed in 77 patients of early breast cancer(EBC).Of the patients,42 cases received oncoplastic VDT (onco-plastic group)and 35 cases had only direct skin closure without treatment of the postresection defect (regular group) following BCT.The cosmetic results of the two groups were evaluated after operation and radiotherapy, respectively. Results All patients were followed up for 1 -36 months with median follow -up of 22.3 months, and no recurrence or metastasis occurred in one of the patients.1 month after surgery, the excellent or good cosmetic outcome were achieved in 31 cases (73.81%)in oncoplastic group and 17 cases (48.57%)in regular group respectively, and there was statistical difference between the two groups (χ2 =5.442,P =0.021);1 month after radiotherapy, the cos-metic excellent or good result were obtained in 27 cases (64.29%)in oncoplastic group and 6 cases (17.14%)in regular group respectively, and the difference between the two groups reached statistical significance (χ2 =9.045,P =0.008).Conclusion VDT can improve the cosmetic effect of mammaplasty following BCT in EBC and does not affect curative effect,it is worthy of promoting.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the three-dimensional ultrasound locatization in endoscopic thyroidectomy for multinodular goiter (MG).
METHOD:
Thirty two patients with MG underwent ET via bilateral areolar approach. Preoperative ultrasonography were used to locate lesions and marked in the 3-D map designed by us. Dur ing ET procedure, surgery skills were adopted to expose inferior pole of thyroid, glands in the area of Berry ligament or (and) upper pole were retained according to the preoperative location map.
RESULT:
According to the preoperative ultrasonic orientation, 3 lobectomy were performed in 15 cases of unilateral lesions, 12 subtotal thyroidectomy were performed in 17 cases of bilateral lesions, and 5 patients performed unilateral lobectomy add partial thyroidectomy. All patients had successful ET using bilateral areola approach. No conversions to open surgery, no complication occurred, and no nodules were found missing in the postoperative ultrasonography examinations.
CONCLUSION
Preoperative ultrasonic orientation and intraoperative operating skills are contributing to a successful ET for MG.
