Vitamin B1 self-assembled monolayer modified electrode (VB1-Au/SAMs/CME) was prepared and its electrochemical behavior was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The results showed that a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) was formed on the surface of gold electrode. \3-/4-redox couple was used as the electrochemical probe to study the electrochemical characteristics of SAM modified gold electrode and the results indicated that the existence of Vitamin B1 membrane on gold surface hindered the electron transfer. The electrochemical behaviors of dopamine(DA) and uric acid (UA) were investigated at VB1-Au/SAMs/CME. The results showed that the electrochemical oxidation of DA and UA could be electrocatalyzed. There were linear relationships between the anodic peak current and the concentration of DA(8.0×10-6-4.0×10-4 mol/L) and UA (6.0×10-5-2.2×10-4mol/L) respectively in differential pulse voltammograms. This modified electrode was effective to detect DA and UA in simultaneous determination of these species in a mixture.

Objective To determine the clinical characteristic, main treatment, and prognosis for the sake of more effective treatments for critically ill patients with H1N1 influenza. Methods Eight critically ill patients with H1N1 influenza in intensive care unit were retrospectively studied, including clinical characteristics, indexex of correlation, and prognosis. Results The acute physiology and chronic health evaluationⅡ score was 19.0±7.8. Five patients died, 4 of whom were caused by respiratory failure. The number of platelets in dead patient was lower than that in healing and improved ones(χ2=8.000,P<0.05).All the 4 patients treated with glucocorticoid died, 5 out of the 6 patients received invasive mechanical ventilation rather than noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and 3 of them who complicated barotraumas in the lung died at last. Conclusion Critically ill patients with H1N1 influenza have high mortality. Respiratory failure is the main cause of death. Critically ill patients with H1N1 influenza should not be treated with glucocorticoid. Patients who need mechanical ventilation should be treated with invasive mechanical ventilation with low tidal volume and low positive end-expiratory pressure.

Objective To study the psychological health state of parents of children patients with hand foot mouth disease and provide scientific basement for clinical nursing care. Methods Zung self- rating anxi-ety scale (SAS) and self-designed investigation scale were used to survey 98 parents of children patients with hand foot mouth disease, and selective nursing intervention was adopted. Results The anxiety scores of the parents were significantly higher than those of the normal mode, and their psychological symptom was influ-eneed by various factors. After the nursing intervention, the anxiety degree was significant different from that of before intervention. Conclusions Psychological health levels of the parents of children with hand foot mouth disease were markedly lower than those of healthy individuals. Psychological nursing care should not only in-clude children but also their parents in order to alleviate their bad mental state.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1957;0(04):-
The surface morphology and histogenesis of small intestine of human embryos (from 6 to 36 weeks) were studied by scanning electron microscopy and light microscopy. The results indicated that some low prominences began to form at 6 weeks of gestation and then transformed to round tuberculum, after that to polygonal column. The finger-like intestinal villi were formed finally at the end of 3 months. There was a apparent proximodistal gradient of the morphological maturation of villi and the histogenesis of intestine from duodenum, jejunum to ileum. Splitted and branched villi were found. From 18 weeks onward, the respective characteristics of villi in the three segments of small intestine appeared. Neutral mucus and sialomucus were mainly secreted by the goblet cells, while sulphomucus was secreted by the goblet cells of ileum during the late gestation. By 6-12 weeks the microvilli of duodenum were shorter than that of jejunum and ileum but they increased in height to 1.4?m at 18 weeks. The height of microvill at jejunum and ileum were 0.8-1.0?m from 14 weeks to 32 weeks. Tufts of thick and long microvilli among short microvilli were found. The formation of villi, secretion of goblet cells and microvilli was discussed.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the absorption enhancen effect of borneol/mentholum eutectic mixture (BO/ME) on nasal-brain delivery of neurotoxin loaded nanoparticles.
METHODUsing microdialysis sampling technique in awake freely-moving rats, the counter per minute (cpm) of dialysates in right PAG of NT-loaded nanoparticles with the BO/ME (BO/ME-NT-NP), radiolabeled with sodium 125I-Iodide, were measured in a gamma-counter for radioactivity. After converting cpm into corresponding concentrations of NT byin vivorecovery of microdialysis probes, the pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated.
RESULTThe BO/ME-NT-NP could be absorbed into the brain, much better to NT-NP and the nanoparticles with borneol or menthdlum only, and the pharmacokinetics accorded with the two-compartment model. The parameters tmax, cmax, AUC, t 1/2(beta) were 0.68 h, 27.32 ng x mL(-1), 132.68 ng x h x mL(-1), 3.1076 h.
CONCLUSIONWith adding BO/ME as absorption enhancer, NT could be significantly increased in the brain with the help of nanopartilces as carriers, and the time to maximal concentration was short, the elimination process was prolonged.
