Objective To research pacemaker cells outside conductive system of rat and mouse heart. Methods Paraffin and frozen serial sections (stained with HE, Masson, cholinesterase technique), and ultrastructural sections, from atrial tissue of 10 rats and 15 mice were observed by light and electron microscopy to find latent pacemaker-like cells. Results Some round or elliptical cells were scattered and irregularly detected in right and left atrial tissue of rat and mouse. Their nuclei were larger, plasma was clearer and cellular organelles were fewer than those of working myocyte. These cells were similar to pacemaker cells in sinoatrial node. Conclusion There are some pacemaker-like cells in right and left atrial tissue of rat and mouse. The finding can provide a morphological basis for ectopic beat of atrium.
2.Brucella orchitis: A retrospective study of 69 cases.
National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(1):46-51
OBJECTIVETo investigate the epidemiological characteristics, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment of Brucella orchitis, so as to provide reliable evidence for the prevention and treatment of the disease.
METHODSWe conducted retrospective statistical analyses on the medical records of 48 outpatients and 21 inpatients with Brucella orchitis.
RESULTSBrucella orchitis was diagnosed in 6.67% of the male patients with brucellosis (69/1 034). The disease exhibited typical epidemiological features, with a higher incidence rate among those in frequent contact with sheep and elderly people, in the period from April to July, and in the areas with sheep husbandry. All the Brucella orchitis patients had such local symptoms as testicular pain and swelling, more frequently involving both testes, and other most common symptoms included fever, chills, sweating, and painful joints. Based on IIEF-5, 45 of the patients suffered from severe erectile dysfunction, with their reproductive function temporarily affected in the course of the disease. Misdiagnosis easily occurred in the early stage of the disease. Therapeutic options mainly included doxycycline hydrochloride and rifampicin, administered orally or intravenously, which could effect a cure, though relapse might occur in some cases.
CONCLUSIONBru- cella orchitis has distinct epidemiological characteristics, with clinical manifestations of testicular pain and swelling. Though a transient disease, it affects the reproductive function of the patient before cured. It can be treated by combined oral and intravenous medication, with painkillers or ice bags for testicular pain and swelling.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(12):1664-1667
OBJECTIVE:To analysis the volatile components in wild strains of Rabdosia rubescensin in Jiyuan area. METH-ODS:Headspace solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME) was conducted to extract the volatile components in 43 wild species of R. rubescens,GC-MS was conducted to identify the components, and peak area normalization method was conducted to calculate the relative content of the components. RESULTS:The variety and relative contents of the volatility components in 43 wild species had obvious differences and the ranges of species number and relative content was from 0 to 11 and from 0 to 84.03% respectively. Caryophyllene, caryophyllene oxide, dihydroactinidiolide, phytone and patchouli alcohol were main components which existed in a variety of different strains of volatile components of R. rubescens, and were mainly composed of terpenes, ketones, alcohols and es-ters. In addition, fatty acids such as palmitic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid were contained in a few individual varieties. CON-CLUSIONS:The internal quality in 43 wild species of R. rubescens has certain differences.

To study the chemical constituents of the inflorescences of Coreopsis tinctoria from Xinjiang, isolation and purification of constituents were carried out by column chromatography on macroporous resin (D101) , MCI gel, MDS gel, silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and semi-preparative HPLC. The structures of the compounds were identified by physicchemical properties and spectral data analysis. Fourteen compounds were isolated and identified as coretinterpenoid A (1), coretinphenol (2), quercetin (3), quercetin-3-O-β-glucopyranoside (4), luteolin (5), taxifolin (6), 7, 3', 5'-trihydroxyflavanone (7), isookanin (8), isookanin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (9), 5, 7, 3', 5'-tetrahydroxyflavanone-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (10), butein (11), okanin (12), sulfuretin (13), and linocinnamarin (14). Compound 1 was a new isabolane-type sesquiterpenoid and compounds 4, 10 and 13 were isolated from this plant for the first time.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2021;56(4):895-905
Hepatic encephalopathy is a common metabolic neuropsychiatric syndrome in the development of end-stage liver disease. Since the concept of intestinal-liver-brain axis was proposed, the relationship between the pathogenesis of hepatic encephalopathy and the gut microbiota has been a hot research topic. In recent years, studies have confirmed that gut microbiota is involved in and affects various pathological processes of hepatic encephalopathy. This article combines the latest research progress at home and abroad to elaborate on the research status of regulating gut microbiota and thus interfering with the pathological process of hepatic encephalopathy, hoping to provide new ideas and methods for the intervention of hepatic encephalopathy based on the regulation of gut microbiota.

Objective:To provide some thoughts for pharmaceutical treatment and care for the patients with pulmonary infection af-ter renal transplantation. Methods:Clinical pharmacists participated the whole treatment process of one case of pulmonary infection af-ter renal transplantation. According to the literatures combined with medical history, clinical symptoms and lab results, the drug treat-ment process of the patient was analyzed, and the key points of the optimized pharmaceutical care were summarized. Results: The pharmaceutical care included the dose adjustment of immunosuppressants at the early phase of the disease and after the improvement of clinical symptoms, attention paid to the interactions between multiple anti-infective drugs and immunosuppressive agents, dosage ad-justment based on the renal function of the patient, monitoring adverse drug reactions and drawing up personalized regimen. Conclu-sion:Through comprehensive medication monitoring, clinical pharmacists can help physicians develop timely and effective treatment programs and provide professional and effective pharmaceutical care for patients.

China Oncology 2001;0(05):-
Purpose:To investigate the efficacy of infusion gemcitabine via artery port and catheter system (PCS) for advanced pancreatic cancer.Methods:57 cases advanced pancreatic cancer proved by pathology were implanted Implantofix PCS.The number of ports implanted subcutaneously in inferior right abdomen and subcutanceusly in inferior chest was 48 and 9 cases respectively. The first total does in experience group was gemcitabine 3.0,5-FU 3.0,IL-2 6 million u via three times infusion. Results:The overall implanted successful rates was 100% and indwelling catheter tip dislocation rate was 0. Two PCS were pulled out in 2 fat old female patients because of bad wound healing after two months. In the experimental and control group according to the standard of clinical benefit-responces were 37 and 20 respectively. The obvious improve- ment in pain in experimental and control group was 27.2% and 4.8%,respectively.The duration of clinical benefit-re- sponces were 18 weeks in experimental groups,13 weeks in control group. The midian survival in experimental group was 6.25 months,4.41 months in control group. The 6-,9-,12-months survival rates in experimental group were 46%,24%, 18% more thans 31%,6% and 2% in control group. Conclusions:Infusion gemcitabine via artery PCS can not only relieve pain, prolong survival rate but also provides a long-term intra-arterial chemotherapy and effctive access for advanced pancre- atic cancer.
