Objective To study the effect of a distal protection device (Pereusurge GuardWire: GW) on epicardial blood flow and myocardial perfusion in primary percutaneous coronary intervention. Objective To analyze the data of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV ) screening in Qinnan District of Qinzhou from 2013 to 2015 ,and to provide scientific evidences for the prevention and control of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) .Methods HIV antibody data which was collected from the AIDS laboratory between 2013 and 2015 in Qinnan District of Qinzhou were analyzed .Results Of 3 955 cases of the HIV antibody detecting in the AIDS laboratory from 2013 to 2015 ,200 cases were HIV antibody positive ,and the positive rate was 5 .06% which was decreased compared with previously .The HIV antibody positive rate of man was 9 .26% ,which was higher than women .Among the HIV positive people ,the rate of the ages older than 50 was 25 .36% which was the highest compared to the other age groups .The positive rate of farmers was 30 .83% and the rate of di‐vorced or widowed was 30 .86% and the rate of the illiterate was 16 .08% .Conclusion Man ,farmers ,the age older than 50 years old ,the divorced or widowed and the low degree of education groups are the focus groups of health education and prevention of AIDS .If we can find HIV infectors earlier ,we can control the epidemic of AIDS and formulate the prevention and control strategies better .

Objective To develop a knowledge-attitude-practice scale of elder abuse for caregiver.Methods The elder abuse related knowledge-attitude-practice scale was established by literature review,in-depth interview,expert consultation and discussion among focus group.200 caregivers were selected conveniently for investigation.T-test,correlation analysis,factor analysis,etc.were used to select items.Results Three sub-scales were built which were knowledge,attitude and practice respectively.The number of items of each sub-scales were 22,14 and 15 respectively through item selection.Conclusions The scale,which has good representativeness,applicability and operability,can be used for measuring the caregiver elder abuse knowledge-attitude-practice and providing an objective evidence for the health education to the caregiver.

Objective To evaluate the protective effect of hydrogen-rich saline on renal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) in mice. Methods Thirty C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into 3 groups: sham-operated (SO) group, I/R group (mice were injected with 5 ml/kg saline by tail vein just before ischemia induction) and hydrogen-rich saline group (mice were injected with 5 ml/kg hydrogen-rich saline). At the 6th h after reperfusion, the sera and renal samples subject to IR injury were collected. The Scr and BUN levels in serum were determined and renal histological changes were also examined. The apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells was measured by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick end labeling assay. Malondialdehyde (MDA) contents in renal samples were measured using specific kits. The infiltration of F4/80 positive macrophages and neutrophils was assayed by using immunohistochemistry. The mRNA expression of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β and IL-17 was detected by using real time reverse transcription PCR. Results As compared with LR group, at the 6th h following reperfusion the levels of Scr and BUN were significantly reduced (P<0.05), histological changes obviously alleviated (P<0.01), apoptosis of renal tubular epithelial cells and MDA contents was decreased (P<0.05) in hydrogen-rich saline group. Moreover, the infiltration of macrophages and neutrophils, and the mRNA expression of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β and IL-17 in renal tissue in hydrogen-rich saline group were also declined as compared with IR group (P<0.05). Conclusion Hydrogen-rich saline can ameliorate renal IR injury to some extent, which is associated with inhibition of inflammatory response induced by reperfusion.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of electro-acupuncture (EA) on gastric mucosal oxygenation and systemic inflammatory response in patients undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery with controlled hypotension (CH), and to explore its protective effect on gastric mucosa.

METHODSFifty-four patients, 18-65 years old, grade I-II of American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA), who were scheduled for endoscopic sinus surgery were randomly assigned to two groups, group A (general anesthesia group) and group B (general anesthesia combined EA anesthesia group), 27 in each group. Conrolled hypotension was executed during operation, and mean arterial pressure (MAP) was maintained at 55-65 mmHg. After tracheal intubation gastric tesiometer catheter was indwelled through nasal cavity or oral cavity. After successful indwelling, it was connected with gastric mucosa monitoring mode of multifunctional parameters monitor. Patients' MAP and heart rate (HR), pHi, partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PgCO2), arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (Pg-aCO2) and endtidal pressure of carbon dioxide (Pg-etCO2) were measured and recorded at T, (immediately before induced hypotension), T, (20 min following induced hypotension to target MAP), T2 (40 min following induced hypotension to target MAP), T3 (20 min after ending induced hypotension), and T4(40 min after ending induced hypotension). Blood samples were intravenously collected, TNF-alpha, IL-1, and IL-6 were detected by ELISA 24 h before operation, during operation (T3), and 24 h after operation.

RESULTSAfter hypotension was induced, Pg-CO2, Pg-aCO2 and Pg-etCO2 increased significantly (P < 0.01, P < 0.05), while pHi decreased significantly (P < 0.01) in both groups at T1-T4 than those at T0. During T1-T4, PgCO2, Pg-aCO2, and Pg-etCO2 were higher (P < 0.01, P < 0.05), while pHi was lower in group A than in group B (P < 0.01). Furthermore, TNF-alpha, IL-1, and IL-6 increased significantly in both groups during operation and 24 h after operation, when compared with those 24 h before operation (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). TNF-alpha and IL-1 in group A were higher than those in group B (P < 0.05) during operation and 24 h after operation, but with no significant difference in the plasma concentration of IL-6 (P > 0.05).

CONCLUSIONEA exerted obvious protective effect of gastric mucosal injury in endoscopic sinus surgery with controlled hypotension, which might be achieved by increasing gastric mucosal blood flow, maintaining oxygen supply and demand, inhibiting inflammatory response, and alleviating injury of gastric mucosal barrier.

OBJECTIVETo compare clinical effects of spinal leveraging manipulation and medicine for the treatment of degenerative scoliosis in pain and function.

METHODSFrom July 2010 to June 2013, 38 patients with degenerative scoliosis were randomly divided into spinal leveraging manipulation group and medicine group by coin tossing. In manipulation group, there were 9 males and 11 females aged from 58 to 74 years old with an average of (66.63±7.73), the courses of diseases ranged from 3 to 8 months with an average of (5.65±2.58), spinal leveraging manipulation(following meridian to straighten tendon,relieving spasm, osteopathy and massage, clearing and activating the channels and collaterals) were performed for 30 min, once a day, 4 days for a period treatment, totally 9 courses. In medicine group, there were 8 males and 10 females aged from 57 to 70 years old with an average of (63.51±6.61) the courses of diseases ranged from 3 to 5 months with an average of (4.82±1.43), celecoxib with eperisone hydrochloride were orally taken, 4 days for a period treatment, totally 9 courses. VAS score, Cobb angle and ODI score were measured.

RESULTSAfter treatment, VAS score in manipulation group was (5.38±0.99), (6.36±1.31) in medicine group,and had significant meaning (t=2.618, P<0.05); there was significant differences in Cobb angle between manipulation group (16.51±4.89)° and medicine group (19.85±5.03) °(t=2.074,P<0.05); and had obviously meaning in ODI score between manipulation group (20.20±2.93) and medicine group (26.01±3.11) (t=5.592, P<0.05).

CONCLUSIONSpinal leveraging manipulation for degenerative scoliosis could regulate muscle balance on both side of spine, correct coronal imbalances in spine, recover normal sequence of spine, reduce and remove opperssion and stimulation of nerve root, relieve pain in leg and waist and further improve quality of life.

Objective To correlate the chemokine score with disease activity,organ damages and clinical features in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients.Methods Peripheral blood cells obtained from 60 SLE patients,20 rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients and 23 healthy donors (HDs) were subjected to real-time PCR to measure the transcriptional levels of seven chemokines (RANTES,MCP-1,CCL19,MIG,IP-10,CXCL11,and IL-8).Chemokine scores were calculated and were compared between various groups of SLE patients as well as between patients and controls.Results Chemokine scores were significantly elevated in SLE patients compared with RA patients and HDs (P=0.0112 and P=0.0019,respectively).Chemokine scores were correlated positively with SLEDAI (P=0.0061) and negatively with C3 levels (P=0.003).Compared to patients without lupus nephritis (LN),chemokine scores were elevated in SLE patients with active LN,especially when their daily prednisone dosage was less than 30 mg (P=0.0418 and P=0.002,respectively).Chemokine scores were also associated with cumulative organ damage (SLICC damage index [SDI]＞0) and positive anti-Sm and anti-RNP autoantibodies.Conclusion The chemokine score may serve as a new biomarker for disease activity and organ damage in SLE patients.

The Coat protein and Maturase gene of E.coli bacteriophage MS2 was amplified by PCR,then the gene was cloned into pET32a to construct the intermediate vector pET32aCP.The conservative sequence of FMDV internal ribosome entry site(IRES) was cloned into the downstream of pET32aCP bacteriophage gene to construct the prokaryotic expression vector pCPES.The recombinant plasmid pCPES transformed into E.coli strain BL21(DE3) was induced to express with 1mmol/L IPTG.The expression products were purified by sucrose density gradient centrifugation.The expression products observed by TEM were circular viruslike particles,and the diameter of these particles was about 26nm.The stability of viruslike particles was detected,and the viruslike particles was identified by RTPCR.The results showed that the viruslike particles contain the FMDV IRES RNA and have good stability.The viruslike particles have great prospect as the standard and quality control in the area of RNA virus detection.
