Objective To estimate the effection of orbital blowout fracture when Medpor was implanted to restore it. Methods The plastic operations on 15 patients with orbital blowout fracture were reviewed and studied. Results On discharge from the hospital, function and outline form was improved greatly in all cases. Conclusion Early diagnosis, early treatment and early movement training after surgery were emphasized. Medpor is one of the preferred material on reparing orbital blowout fracture.

Objective Compare the difference on vision,vision field between treating on central retinal artery with compound anisodine retrobulbar injection associate with emporat artery side injection and emporal artery side injection simply.Estimate the curative effect of the two ways on the disease.Methods Observe the patients'vision,vison field and cross-check,analyze the results who have central retinal artery and there are 20 who treated by compound anisodine retrobulbar injection associate with emporal artery side injection together with 20 who treated by emporal artery side injection purely.Results The therapeutics that is compound anisodine retrobulbar injection associate with emporal artery side injection is excellence to 10,effective to 6 and ineffective to 4;the therapeutics that is arter3,side injection purely is excellence to 5,effective to 5 and ineffective to 10.The two therapeuticses has significant difference on improving vision and ameliorating vision field.Conclusion It's quite effective to treat central retinal artery occlusion by compound anisodine retrobulbar injection associate with emporal artery side injection.

BACKGROUNDPartial-thickness rotator cuff tears (PTRCTs) are being diagnosed more often because of high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Compared with articular and bursal side tears, there have been few studies about evaluating the clinical and structural outcomes after intratendinous tear repair.

METHODSFrom 2008 to 2012, 33 consecutive patients with intratendinous PTRCTs underwent arthroscopic repair. All of them were retrospectively evaluated. The University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and constant scores were evaluated before operation and at the final follow-up. Postoperative cuff integrity was determined using MRI according to Sugaya's classification.

RESULTSAt the 2-year follow-up, the average UCLA score increased from 16.7 ± 1.9 to 32.5 ± 3.5, and the constant score increased from 66.2 ± 10.5 to 92.4 ± 6.9 (P < 0.001). Twenty seven patients received follow-up MRI examinations at an average of 15.2 months after surgery. Of these 27 patients, 22 (81.5%) had a healed tendon, and five patients had partial tears. There was no association between functional and anatomic results.

CONCLUSIONSFor intratendinous PTRCT, clinical outcomes and tendon healing showed good results at a minimum 2-year after arthroscopic repair.

Objective To determine the diagnostic value of shoulder MR arthrography in revealing the injuries of anterior glenoid labrum,and to compare MR arthrography with arm in neutral position with MR arthrography with arm in abduction and external rotation(ABER)position.Methods MR arthrography of the shoulder,including additional oblique axial sequences with the patient in the ABER position,was performed in 44 patients.The injuries of anterior glenoid labrum of these patients were retrospectively evaluated.The result was compared with that of arthroscopy.Results For displaying the abnormalities of anterior glenoid labrum,the sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy of axial MR images with arm in neutral position were 79.3%(23/29),100%(15/15),and 86.4%(38/44),respectively.While the results of ABER position oblique axial images were 93.1%(27/29),100%(15/15),and 95.5%(42/44), respectively.The difference of sensitivity between axial and ABER-position scans was statistically significant (P

OBJECTIVEIn order to accurately reconstruct the acoustic source image, the application of transducer's receiving characteristics in magneto-acoustic tomography with magnetic induction (MAT-MI) is studied.

METHODSThe conductivity phantom model is built, and the magnetic acoustic signals are simulated and the acoustic sources are reconstructed according to the transducer's receiving characteristics.

RESULTSThe reconstructed image of acoustic source is consistent with the topographic shape and size of the phantom model.

CONCLUSIONMAT-MI based on the transducer's characteristics lays the foundation for further study.

Based on analyzing image edge cloning theory and algorithms, a marginal clone algorithm is proposed with a combination of edge connectivity and noise removal algorithm. Simulation results show that the edge image detected by the algorithm has solved problems of traditional edge discontinuities and tsereve noise. Moreover, it has better edge recognition performance.

Objective To evaluate the left ventricular synchrony after myocardial infarction (MI) by ultrasound targeted microbubbles destruction (UTMD)-mediated angiogenin 1 (Ang1) gene transfection in canine.Methods Twenty-one dogs were divided into three groups (n =7 in each group):①control group (healthy dogs);②MI group (MI dogs without treatment);③UTMD group (MI dogs with UTMD treatment).One month later,the size and systolic function of heart were measured by echocardiography.The synchronization parameters derived from two dimensional-speckle tracking imaging(2D-STI) included the standard deviation and maximum difference of time to peak strain for all left ventricular segments (Tls-SD,Trs-SD,Tcs-SD,Tls-Dif,Trs-Dif and Tcs-Dif).CD31 and α-SMA were applied for quantifying capillary and arteriolar density.The Ang1,SERCA2a and PLB protein were detected by Western blotting.Results ① One month later,the conventional ultrasonic parameters were compared among three groups,the LVEDD,LVESD and E/e'increased and LVEF,e'and E/A reduced in MI group than those in control group,all of them partially recovered in UTMD group than those in MI group,but were still lower than those in control group (P ＜0.05);②The left ventricular synchrony parameters of Tls-SD,Tls-Dif and Trs-SD showed significant differences among the three groups(P ＜0.05),the degree of dyssynchrony increased in MI group than control group,they were lower in UTMD group than those in MI group.The Tcs-SD,Tcs-Dif and Trs-Dif showed no significant difference among three groups (P ＞ 0.05);③ The immunohistochemistry showed the higher blood vessel density in UTMD group than that in MI group(P ＜ 0.05);④The relative quantity of Ang1 was significantly higher in UTMD group.The relative quantity of SERCA2a protein was lower in MI group than that in control group,increased in UTMD group,the trend of PLB was contrary to it.The differences were statistically significant (all P ＜0.05).Conclusions The UTMD-mediated Ang1 gene transfection can promote angiogenesis after MI,reverse left ventricular remodeling and improve left ventricular synchrony.The myocardial synchrony may be related to the expression of calcium ions key protein SERCA2a and PLB.

Objective To determine the incidence of avascular necrosis after closed reduction and cannulated compression screws fixation of intra-capsular femoral neck fracture and to investigate the multiple factors correlated to avascular femoral head necrosis.Methods All the patients of intra-capsular femoral neck fracture who accepted closed reduction and cannulated compression screws fixation between 2001 and 2010 in Jiangsu Province were reviewed in multi-centers retrospectively.The multiple factors were analyzed including age,gender,affected side,mechanism of injury,fracture classification,procedure delay,quality of reduction,time of full-weight-bearing,configuration of the screws and removal of the screws.Multiple correlation factors were analyzed with SPSS 13.0 statistic system.Results Complete case records were documented in 1849 cases who were followed up for an average 6.5±2.7 years (range,2-10 years).Avascular necrosis occurred in 246 cases (13.3％).The average time of diagnosis of avascular necrosis was 17±4.6months (range,8-72 months) after injury.The average Harris score of the hips which didn't develop to avascular necrosis was 93.8±8.9 (range,78～100) at the last follow up.Multiple correlation factors analysis indicated that displacement degrees of fracture and the quality of reduction were significantly correlated to the incidence of avascular necrosis (OR=2.078,3.423).Conclusion Closed reduction and cannulated compression screws fixation after the intra-capsular femoral neck fracture can get satisfactory results.Displacement degrees of fracture and the quality of reduction are significantly correlated to the incidence of avascular femoral head necrosis.
