Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(19):2872-2878
BACKGROUND:Dental pulp stem cel s are characterized by multi-lineage differentiation and proliferation abilities and are easy to obtain, so they are becoming an issue of concern in regenerative medicine. OBJECTIVE:To provide clues and direction for further study by analyzing progress of domestic and overseas research on dental pulp stem cel s, and summarizing their application in regenerative medicine. METHODS:The“dental pulp stem cel , regenerative medicine, tissue engineering”in Chinese and English served as the search terms to search articles related to dental pulp stem cel s and regenerative medicine, published from 2000 to 2015 in Medline, PubMed, CNKI, Wanfang and Cqvip databases. Total y 46 articles were selected for overview. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Dental pulp stem cel s, which hold the capacity of self-renewal and multi-lineage differentiation, are relatively easy to obtain, and exhibit a great potential in regenerative medicine. The research of dental pulp stem cel s in repairing bone defects has entered the clinical trial phase, but the research of cel differentiation into other tissues is stil in basic trial phase and needs further development.
2.Advances in cellular immunomodulatory therapy in patients with sepsis and immune compromized
Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2016;25(7):969-973
Sepsis is one of the most common causes of mortality in the intensive care units (ICUs) with high mortality rates which may be related to the lack of thoroughly understanding of the specific pathophysiological mechanisms.Improved treatment protocols have resulted in most patients got out of the initial hyperinflammatory phase and entered into a protracted immune suppressed phase.Deaths in this immunosuppressive phase are typically due to failure to control the primary infection or the secondary nosocomial infections often with opportunistic pathogens. As the complexity in multiple systems and varied mechanisms involved in the development of disease, the disorder of immune system and inflammation reaction may be one of the main mechanisms, which were mainly characterized by inflammation cytokines storm and immune dysfunction. The mechanism in the later course of disease may include apoptosis and depletion of immune cells, increased suppression of T regulatory cell and increased myeloid-derived suppressor cell, and cellular exhaustion. In this review we focus on the pathophysiologic mechanism of sepsis with immune compromized, monitoring the immune response, the cellular immunoadjuvant therapy, and improving the recognition of sepsis immunosuppression.
3.The Comparative Study of Doctor-Patient Relationship between China and Britain under the Background of Modern Health Care System
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(02):-
The study of relationship between Doctor and Patient is a classical one in the field of medical ethics. Different countries have different cultures, national mentalities, social systems and health care systems. Therefore, the Doctor-Patient relationship differs. Knowing the differences, we can use for references. Based on this, the paper did a comparative research between China and Britain under the background of modern health care system.
4.The antinociceptive effect of fentanyl on the discharges of the neurons in the parafascicular nucleus evoked by coronary artery occlusion
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1996;0(07):-
Objective The purpose of this study was to determine if parafascicular nucleus of thalamus is involved in the nociceptive stimulation evoked by coronary artery occlusion-induced acute myocardial ischemia and to investigate the effect of fentanyl on this nociceptive stimulation. Methods Male SD rats weighing 260-300 g were operated upon under general anesthesia with intraperitoneal urethane (1.2 g ? kg -1 ) and local infiltration of the skin incision. The discharges of pain-sensitive neurons (PSN) were recorded for 20 seconds every 5 min using single-barrel glass electrode before and after the coronary artery occlusion ( CAO) . The study was divided into 3 groups: group Ⅰ CAO alone ( n = 9); group Ⅱ CAO + fentanyl ( n = 6) : fentanyl 0.01 mg ?kg-1 was administered iv 15 min after CAO; group Ⅲ CAO + fentanyl + naloxone ( n = 6) : naloxone 0.04 mg? kg-1 was administered iv 15 min after intravenous fentanyl administration. Results The discharge frequency was significantly increased following CAO and peaked within 5-10 min after CAO and maintained for 60 min. The increased frequency of nociceptive discharge was significantly inhibited within 10 min after fentanyl and intravenous naloxone could completely antagonize the inhibitory effect of fentanyl. Conclusion Visceral pain can be evoked by acute myocardial ischemia induced by coronary artery occlusion. Thalamic parafascicular nucleus is involved in the perception of nociception in CNS. Opioid receptors play a critical role in the modulation of the nociception.
6.Skp2 and malignandes
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(7):446-448
S-phase kinase associated protein (Skp2) assumes the high expression in the most of malignant tumors, with its occurrence, and the development and the prognosis is closely related with a latent diagnose and treat went value. This review will focus on unique feature, biology activity, the function mechanism and with malignant tumor relations of the Skp2.
7.Antitumor effects of metformin
Journal of International Oncology 2015;(4):281-283
Metformin as a cheap, safe and effective diabetes drug, has been used for many years. Recently, many studies have shown its variety inhibition of tumor cells. Its antitumor mechanism is not entirely clear;may be related to glucose metabolism and protein kinase or inflammatory cytokines mediating tumor kill-ing. Metformin has different cytotoxic effects to various tumor cell,as well as playing some auxiliary roles on other antitumor methods.
8.On the deficiencies and improvements of the geographical indications protection system of genuine medical materials in China
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;37(10):869-872
There are three systems to protect the geographical indications of genuine medical materials in present China, which easily leads to the right-conflicts among several geographical indications rights. The situation is not reasonable, but is legitimate in the current legal system. So we should start from the present legislation and learn from foreign experience to resolve it step by step. To be specific, in the short term, we should strengthen propaganda and alter the existing logos to reduce the possibility of consumer confusion. Meanwhile, we should annul or revoke the registration of the improperly registered geographical indications. In the medium term, we should make some amendments to the legislation, that is, to give priorities to geographical indication products. At last, we should change the three systems into a single protection mode on the basis of the geographical indication products system.
9.Preparation and Application of Internal Quality Control Substance of Free Hemoglobin
Journal of Modern Laboratory Medicine 2015;(4):117-119
Objective To prepare an internal quality control substance of free hemoglobin (FHb),and evaluate its perform-ance.Methods ① 5 normal whole human blood samples with known hemoglobin (Hb)concentration was selected and dilu-ted with distilled water in the ratio of 1∶500,1∶1 000,1∶2 000,1∶4 000 respectively. After 20 FHb solutions was fully mixed, the concentration of FHb solutions was tested and compared with its theoretical data.②One of the highest value and the lowest value solutions were chosen as qualitye control substance, packed and stored in -20℃ fridge. Each group was an-alyzed 20 days continuously in the routine conditions, where average (-x )of the groups, standards deviation (s )and coeffi-cients of variation (CV)were calculated and Levey-Jennings control chart was conducted. Then, the test was repeated every week, and the data on the chart was updated accordingly until (CV)of the reagents were changed. The average (-x)of the-groups,standards deviation (s)and coefficients of variation uality control material was calculated during the whole test peri-od.Results ①The theoretical value (-x ±s)of the concentration of free hemoglobin was 125.44±93.04 mg/L,and the actu-al value was 125.22±93.08 mg/L,there was no statistic significance (t value was 0.706,P >0.05).② During 20 continu-ously daystest, the detected values (-x ±s)of the highest quality control material was 303.55±3.70 mg/L;the values of the lowest quality control material was 69.29 ± 1.88 mg/L.The coefficients were 1.22% and 2.68% respectively. Both the highest and the lowest quality control material were under control during the whole detecting period. The (-x ±s )values of the highest was 302.56±3.99 mg/L,the CV value of it was 1.32%;The (-x ±s)values of the lowest was 69.04±1.88 mg/L,the CV value of it was 2.71%.Conclusion The preparation method of internal quality control substance of free hemoglo-bin is convenient and stable, and was applicable in blood station’s and clinical laboratory.
10.Diagnosis and treatment of ampunary cancer
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2008;7(6):404-405
Ampullary cancer is a relatively uncommon cancer, which is often considered to have a best prognosis among periampullary cancers.Preoperative endoscopic uhrasonography and transpapillary intraductal ultrasonography Call provide useful information not only for tumor staging but also for making therapeutic decisions, especially in patients who are appropriate for endoscopic papillectomy.Whipple resection and pylrus preserring panereaticoduodenectomy are considered to be the standard treatment for ampullary cancer.Although transduedenal ampullectomy is regarded as a less-invasive treatment compared with Whipple resection,it has a high morbidity and hish rate of cancer-cell remnant at the resected margin.Endoscopic papiilectomy may be the treatment of choice for selected cases of ampullary cancer. As to unresectable ampullary cancer, the performance of a biliary-enteric bypass is considered routine to solve obstructive ianndice. The decision as to whether to perform gastrojejunostomy in patients without obvious gastroduodenal obstruction secondary to the tumor remains controversial. We believe that prophylactic gastrojejunostomy should be performed routinely when a patient is undergoing surgical palliation for unresectable ampullary cancer.
