Objective To investigate and analyze cognitive similarities and differences of nurses factors that lead to the tense nurse-patient relationship from both attitudes of nurses and patients. Methods By using the method of questionnaire, 284 nurses and 305 patients were investigated respectively in a top'three hospital of a city. Results There was a significant difference in cognitive scores of nurses factors that lead to the tense nurse- patient relationship (P < 0.01), patients' scores were (3.90±0.47) points which were higher than (3.52±0.35) points of the nurses′. In dimensions of prioritization, both nurses and patients believed that technical ability, professional knowledge and service attitude were the main factors leading to the tense relationship between nurses and patients. While nurses held that communication ability was more important, patients held that the nurse′s own personality was more important. Conclusions There are similarities and differences of attitudes to nurs's factors between nurses and patients regarding tension in nurse- patient relationship. The tense relationship between nurses and patients is affected to a great extent by nurses' professional knowledge, technical ability and service attitude. Managers should objectively evaluate and fully pay attention to cognitive similarities and differences of both sides, strengthen nurses′theoretical knowledge and clinical skills training, improve service attitude, and develop good character,in order to provide high quality nursing service for patients.

Objective To study the levels of antibodies against bordetella pertussis among pregnant women and neonates in Beijing. Method From December 2016 to March 2017, pregnant women and their newborns from three women and children′s hospitals in Beijing were enrolled in this study. 3 ml of venous blood from the mothers and 3 ml of umbilical cord blood from neonates were drawn.Pertussis bacillus IgG antibody (PER-IgG) and pertussis toxin IgG antibody (PT-IgG) were tested using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. χ2 test was used to compare the positive rate of pertussis IgG antibodies in maternal and cord blood in the three hospitals. Correlational analyses of the antibodies levels in each hospital were conducted. The demographic characteristics, history of cough during pregnancy and history of DTaP vaccination of the mothers were collected via questionnaires. Result A total of 612 pairs of venous blood and cord blood samples were collected, including 4 mothers delivered twins and 616 cases of cord blood sample were collected. No history of pertussis were found in the 612 mothers. Among the 616 cases of umbilical cord blood, positive rate of PER-IgG was 13.3% (82/616), positive rate of PT-IgG was 0.5% (3/616). Among 612 cases of venous blood from the mothers, positive rate of PER-IgG was 7.7% (47/612), positive rate of PT-IgG was 0.3% (2/612). Positive rates of PER-IgG and PT-IgG in the mothers′ venous blood were not correlated with their residences (P=0.676 and 0.544). Positive rates of PER-IgG (r=0.842, P<0.001) and PT-IgG (r=0.619, P<0.001) in the mothers′ blood were positively correlated with the positive rate in umbilical cord blood. Conclusion This study shows that the positive rate of PER-IgG is very low in the maternal and umbilical cord blood in Beijing. Positive correlations of PER-IgG and PT-IgG between mother and umbilical cord blood were existed. Most mothers and their newborns do not have enough protection against pertussis.

OBJECTIVETo assess the association of neural development-related genes LIS1and TSNAX with bipolar disorder in a Chinese Han population.
METHODSThree hundred and eight five patients (including 188 males and 197 females) from Guangzhou Brain Hospital with bipolar disorder meeting the Diagnostic and Statistic Manual of Bipolar Disorder (BDI) (Fourth Edition) criteria and 475 healthy controls from the local community were recruited. Ten single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the LIS1 and TSNAX genes were genotyped by GoldenGate genotyping assay on an Illumina Beadstation 500 machine. Association analyses of SNPs and haplotypes were performed with Plink 1.07 software.
RESULTSAnalysis of the total sample has failed to find any association of SNP or haplotype of the two genes with BDI (P> 0.05). When patients were divided into subgroups with or without psychotic symptom, no significant association of the two genes was found with psychotic BDI or non-psychotic BDI (P> 0.05). No significant association was found between any SNP and haplotype of two genes and female BDI or male BDI, nor were significant association found between age of onset and LIS1 and TSNAX gene polymorphisms.
CONCLUSIONOur results indicated that LIS1 and TSNAX genes are not associated with susceptibility to bipolar I disorder in Chinese Han population.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2024;28(36):5793-5798
BACKGROUND:Prevention of fractures after stroke is very important, and there are currently no models to predict the occurrence of hip fractures after stroke. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the risk factors leading to hip fracture in stroke patients and to establish a risk prediction model to visualize this risk. METHODS:A total of 439 stroke patients were selected from the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from June 2014 to June 2017,including 107 males and 332 females, with a mean age of(71.38±9.74)years.They were divided into fracture group(n=35)and non-fracture group(n=404)according to the presence or absence of hip fracture.Univariate and multivariate analyses were used to determine the risk factors for hip fracture after stroke. The data were randomly divided into training set(70%)and test set(30%).Nomogram predicting the risk of hip fracture occurrence was created based on the results of the multifactor analysis, and performance was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curve, calibration curves, and decision curve analysis.A web calculator was created to facilitate a more convenient interactive experience for clinicians. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Univariate analysis showed significant differences between the two groups in the number of falls, smoking, hypertension, glucocorticoids, number of strokes,Mini-Mental State Examination, visual acuity level,National Institute of Health Stroke Scale,Berg Balance Scale, and Stop Walking When Talking scale scores(P<0.05).(2)Multivariate analysis showed that number of falls[OR=17.104,95%CI(3.727-78.489),P=0.000],National Institute of Health Stroke Scale[OR=1.565,95%CI(1.193-2.052),P=0.001],Stop Walking When Talking[OR=12.080,95%CI(2.398-60.851),P=0.003]were independent risk factors positively associated with new hip fractures.Bone mineral density[OR=0.155,95%CI(0.044-0.546),P=0.012]and Berg Balance Scale[OR=0.840,95%CI(0.739-0.954),P=0.007]were negatively associated with new hip fractures after stroke.(3)The AUC values of nomogram were 0.956 and 0.907 in the training and test sets, respectively, and the calibration curves showed a high agreement between predicted and actual status with an area under the decision curve of 0.038 and 0.030,respectively.(4)These findings conclude that the number of falls, low bone mineral density, low Berg Balance Scale score, high National Institute of Health Stroke Scale score, and positive Stop Walking When Talking are risk factors for hip fracture after stroke.Based on this,a nomogram with high accuracy was developed and a web calculator(https://stroke.shinyapps.io/DynNomapp/)was created.
