Objectives: To investigate the expression and distribution of survivin and P53 in human non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC),and to evaluate the relationship between survivin and P53. Methods:The expression of survivin and P53 in 95 patients with NSCLC were examined using immunohistochemical methods (SP), and the relationship between them and clinicopathological parameters was analyzed. Results: The positive rates of survivin and P53 in NSCLC were 62% and 55.8% respectively, in the normal lung tissues nearby were 17% and 7% respectively( P

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(01):-
Objective: To study angiogenesis and its influencing factors in human non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC). Methods: The values of intratumor microvessel density(IMVD) in 95 cases of NSCLC were determined and its correlation with pathological parameters was analyzed. The relationship between IMVD and expressions of MMP-2,MMP-9,TIMP-2,VEGF,b-FGF,CD44v6,NOS2,NOS3 and E-cad in NSCLC was assessed. Results: There was active tumor angiogenesis of NSCLC, and the values of IMVD were correlated with clinicopathological stages of NSCLC and lymph nodes metastasis. The values of IMVD in positive expressions of VEGF, b-FGF, MMP-2, TIMP-2,CD44v6,NOS2 and NOS3 were significantly higher than that in negative expressions, opposed to the expression of TIMP-2 and E-cad. Conclusion:IMVD is a valuable marker for evaluating stages and metastasis of NSCLC. MMP-2, TIMP-2, VEGF, b-FGF, CD44v6, NOS2, NOS3 and E-cad may take part in the regulation of angiogenesis in NSCLC.

AIM: To observe the inhibitory effects of the serum containing drugs of Qinbai Qingfei Concentrated Pellets(S-QQCP) on influenza A virus. METHODS: MDCK cells were cultured with the technology of cell culture in vitro, serum contained QQCP of low-,moderate-,high dosages were made with Serum Pharmacological methods,in order to study the action of S-QQCP inhibit the biosynthesis, absorption and direct destruction of influenza A virus. RESULTS: Compared with the controlled blank serum, different dosages of S-QQCP had significant inhibitory effects on the biosynthesis of influenza A virus(P0.05). CONCLUSION: S-QQCP can inhibit the biosynthesis and absorption of influenza A virus to a certain extent.

Objective: To establish a method for controlling the quality of Agkistrodon halys's crude venom. Methods: The method of PAGE was carried out to identificate the Agkistrodon halys' crude venom, And the protein of crude venom was also assayed by Lowry's method. Results: The Agkistrodon halys's crude venom could be identified by the method of PAGE. The determintion of protein of crude venom showed a good linear relationship in a concentration range of 25 ?g?mL -1 ~250?g?mL -1 , the regression equation was Y=0.0147+ 1.4553X , and the correlation coefficient was 0.9992. The average recovery of the content reached 100.09, RSD=1.765(n=6). Conclusion: The method is simple, feasible, accurate and available, can be used to controlling of the quality of Agkistrodon halys's crude venom.

AIM To study sodium ferulute on monophasic action potential of ventricular muscle. METHODS Well being rabbits( n =20) were divided into 2 groups randomly, benzyltetrahydroplmatine(BTHP)group is a control group, the other is a study group. Franz's Quadrupole contact electrod catheter is advanced into the rigter ventricular by vein.MAP is recorded by traditional methods. At the same time Ⅱ lead ECG was recorded. Control group and study group were administered BTHP(5 mg?kg -1 ) and sodium ferulute(0 6 g?kg -1 ) respectively, before and after administration the duration of MAP at 20%(MAPD20),50%(MAPD50) and 90% (MAPD90) repolarization, amplitude of MAP (MAPA) and effective refractory period(ERP)were measured. RESULT In control group MAPD50,MAPD90 and ERP were significantly prolonged (124 5?8 96) ms vs (97 5?6 77) ms,(153?7 53) ms vs (123 5?5 8) ms,(142?13 37) vs (111?13 50) ms,respectively, P 0 05). CONCLUSION Sodium ferulute may be potassium channel blocker.

Objective To discuss the economic development and social inclusion of persons with disabilities. Methods The international conception of rehabilitation was applied as the tools. Results Many persons with disabilities are in marginal status, and their social development are limited. Conclusion Several recommendations had been made for empowerment of persons with disabilities through social protection and empowerment through poverty reduction, as well as an enabling legal and policy framework.

Objective To investigate the condition of activity and participation of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Methods 34 inpatients with TBI were assessed with World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule (WHO-DAS) 2.0 (International Chinese Version of fully structured interviewer administered 36 question). Results The patients with TBI had mild difficulty (2.10±1.33) in understanding and communicating, moderate in getting around (3.20±1.56), self-care (3.06±1.41) and getting along with people (2.43±1.33),and moderate to severe in life activities (3.86±1.33) and participation in society (3.51±1.19). Conclusion The patients with TBI feel difficulty major in life activities, participation in society, and getting around.

Objective To investigate the current status of family rehabilitation for children with disability and the unmet needs of habilitation/rehabilitation for their parents. Methods Family Rehabilitation Needs Survey Questionnaire was used to investigate 186 families of the children with disability from 5 rehabilitation institutions in 4 provinces. Results Most families accepted family rehabilitation, including family support, developed rehabilitation scheme, telephone counseling, real-time guidance and appointment for family rehabilitation. Most families would spent 1-2 hours a day for the family rehabilitation, and prefer the rehabilitation of gross motion. However, the rehabilitation agencies played less importance on supports of family rehabilitation. Conclusion The family rehabilitation supports needs to be improved in specification of rehabilitation process, developing rehabilitation scheme and quality control.
