OBJECTIVETo observe the effects of moxibustion with different temperatures on cholesterol and skin around "Shenque" (CV 8) in mice with acute hyperlipidemia, and to explore the correlation between moxibustion effect and transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1).

METHODSEight mice among 32 mice of C57BL/6J wild type (WT) were selected into a blank group, and the remaining 24 mice were made into the acute hyperlipidemia model by injection of egg yolk. After model establishment, the mice were randomly divided into a model group, a 38 °C moxibustion group and a 46 °C moxibustion group, 8 mice in each group. The temperature was (38 ± 1) °C in the 38 °C moxibustion group and (46 ± 1) °C in the 46 °C moxibustion group. "Shenque" (CV 8) and "Zusanli" (ST 36) were selected in the two groups; moxibustion was given for 10 min per time, once a day for 2 times. Mice in the blank group and model group were treated with immobilization and moxibustion was not given. After treatment, the level of serum cholesterol was tested by oxidase method; the morphology of skin around "Shenque" (CV 8) was observed by HE staining; the expression of TRPV1 in skin was measured by immunohistochemistry.

RESULTS(1) Compared with the blank group, the level of serum cholesterol was increased in the model group (P < 0.001); compared with the model group, the level of serum cholesterol was reduced in the 46 °C moxibustion group (P < 0.001); compared with the 38 °C moxibustion group, the level of serum cholesterol was reduced in the 46 °C moxibustion group (P < 0.01). (2) There was slight change of morphology and structure in skin tissue in the 38 °C moxibustion group, while obvious change was observed in the 46 °C moxibustion group, indicating specific change. (3) The difference of the expression of TRPV1 in skin was significantly different between 46 °C moxibustion group and blank group, model group (both P < 0.01); it was also different from the 38 °C moxibustion group (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONMoxibustion temperature is one of the important factors affecting the cholesterol and acupoint skin. The effects of moxibustion are related to TRPV1.

Objective To investigate the levels of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in eczema and chronic urticaria patients'serum and the role of food allergens in allergic skin diseases and provide scientific basis for clinical treatment and prophylaxis. Methods We used ELISA method to detect the concentration of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in the serum of 900 eczema and chronic urticaria patients and 18 healthy people. Results The food allergen of positive rate in studied group and control group was 90.2% and 11.1%. The positive rate of 14 kinds of food allergic specific IgG antibody in 900 eczema and chronic urticaria patients' serum from high to low was eggs, wheat, shrimp, milk, soja,crab, rice, corn, tomato, chicken, mushroom, beef, pork and ling. The food allergen positive rate in eczema and chronic urticaria patients'serum was 91.9% and 88. 9% ( P >0. 05). The positive rate of shrimp,mushroom and ling in eczema patients'serum was higher than that in chronic urticaria patients'serum ( P <0. 05 ). The positive rate in children's group was 96. 6%, which was higher than other age groups ( P >0. 05 ). The main allergens were egg, wheat and milk in children's group. The sensitization of crab and shrimp increased as people grew up. In 812 positive patients, who were intolerant of three and more than three foods accounted for 53.7%. In 175 follow-up patients, the effective rate was 50.9% in 20 days and 61.1% in 60 days after they avoided the intolerant food. The patients'diet was adjusted according to the test results.In 325 follow-up patients, the effective rate in eczema group was 59.9% in 20 days and 70. 4% in 60 days ( P <0. 05). Thee effective rate in chronic urticaria group was 65.6% in 20 days and 77. 3% in 60 days ( P <0.05 ). Conclusion The intolerant food can be found by detecting serum food allergen specific IgG.It can be used to adjust the diet and relieve the symptom, which is of great importance for preventing and treating allergic skin diseases.

Adult-onset Still′s disease (AOSD) is a type of systemic inflammatory disease of unknown etiology, with diverse clinical manifestations, and there are some difficulties in its diagnosis and treatment. In recent years, it has been found that some new markers, such as heme oxygenase 1, calreticulin, inflammatory cytokines and advanced glycation end products, can be used for a comprehensive assessment of the activity and severity of AOSD. Moreover, new biological agents, such as tumor necrosis factor inhibitors, interleukin-1 (IL-1) inhibitors, IL-6 inhibitors and recombinant IL-18 binding proteins, bring new hope for the treatment of AOSD. This review mainly summarizes progress in the diagnosis and treatment of AOSD.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that mainly affects young and middle-aged women. It can involve multiple organ systems, with complex and diverse clinical manifestations. The research on the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of SLE has always been a hot spot in this field. In 2019, a lot of new progress was made in the pathogenesis, diagnosis and evaluation, and treatment of SLE in China and other countries, and this review summarizes main representative advances.

A 29-year-old male patient with extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma,a nasal type lymphoma with involvement of skin as the first symptom,was reported.The patient presented with swelling in the left side of the nose and suffered intermittent fever for 1 month.The fester in the oral mucosa and skin under the left nostril and redness,and the swelling on the orbit of the left eye lasted for 1 week.Physical examination showed that the left side of nose was swelling,and the skin below the left nostril was anabrotic and crusted.There were different ulcers in his jaws and buccal mucosa.Bilateral eyelid was redness and swelling,especially in the left side.Binocular conjunctival was congestive.The diagnosis of extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (nasal type) was confirmed by biopsy and immunohistochemistry.

Objective To investigate the application value of extracorporeal extended field radiotherapy in locally advanced cervical cancer. Methods A total of one hundred and twenty patients with stage IIB?IVA cervical cancer in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University from June 2012 to June 2014 were randomly divided into two groups:the control group and the observation group,each with 60 cases. The routine concurrent chemoradiotherapy was adopted in the control group. The observation group was treated with extracorporeal extended field radiotherapy combined with concurrent chemotherapy. The patients have been followed up for three years. The total efficacy rate,toxicity reaction,local progression free survival time ( PFS) and survival rate of the two groups were compared. Results The total efficacy rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group ( 88. 3%( 53/60 ) vs. 73. 3%( 44/60 ) , χ2 = 4. 357, P=0. 037),while the incidences of toxicity reaction in the two groups were 18. 3%(11/60) and 16. 7%(10/60), the difference was not statistically significant (χ2=0. 058,P=0. 810) ,the percentages of I and II degree in the two groups were 3. 4%( 2/60 ) and 3. 4%( 2/60 ) , the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant (Z=0. 000,P=1. 000). The PFS value in the observation group was significantly longer than that of the control group ( 25. 6 months vs. 13. 8 months,χ2 = 25. 624, P= 0. 000 ) , and the survival rate in the observation group improved significantly ( 53. 3%( 32/60 ) vs. 33. 3%( 20/60 ) , the difference was statistically significant (χ2 = 4. 887, P= 0. 027 ) . Conclusion Extracorporeal extended field radiotherapy is safe and effective in the treatment of locally advanced cervical cancer.

Objective To determine the prevalence of and correlations between HIV infection and syphilis among men who have sex with men (MSM) in Beijing.Methods Totally,600 MSM collected from sentinel surveillance sites for AIDS in Beijing were recruited in this study,and underwent screening tests for HIV infection and syphilis.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used for the primary screening for HIV infection,and Western blot for its confirmation.Both nontreponemal test (rapid plasma regain (RPR) assay) and treponemal test (Treponema pallidum particle agglutination assay,TPPA) were performed to detect syphilis,and only those with a reactive TPPA result were defined as having syphilis (including past infection).Specimens confirmed as HIV-1 positive were further tested with BED-capture enzyme immunoassay (CEIA) to find recent HIV-1 infection,and the incidence of HIV infection was then calculated.The correlation between syphilis and HIV infection was statistically analyzed.Results Of the 600 MSM,49 (8.17％) had HIV infection,including 14 cases of recent infection,with the incidence rate of HIV infection being 4.68％; 51 were positive for both RPR and TPPA tests with the infection rate (including past infection) being 18.5％ (111/600).People without a Beijing household registration and those with high education levels accounted for a large proportion of HIV-infected MSM.Conclusions The prevalence and incidence of HIV infection as well as prevalence of syphilis maintain at a relatively high level in MSM in Beijing.HIV infection is markedly correlated with syphilis in MSM population.

Objective To investigate the change of CNP (C-natriuretic peptides) in patients with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) undergoing in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET) with GnRH-α longprotocol for controll ovarian hyper-stimulation(COH).Methods From March 2012 to September 2014,22cases patients with PCOS undergoing IVF-ET in the Reproductive Medical Center of the Center Hospital of JiangMen were selected as study group(Group 1),and 32 cases patients with normal ovarian reserve,the age younger than 35,and the number of oocytes retrieved more than 6 at the same period were selected as control group(Group 2).The level of serum CNP and estradiol(E2) on the day of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) and retrieving oocytes,the level of CNP and E2 in follicular fluid were analyzed.In additional,the levels of CNP and E2 in follicular fluid of different fertility and embryo quality were compared.Results (1) CNP and E2 on the day of HCG were significantly higher than that on the day of retrieving oocytes (CNPof Group 1:(107.21±78.55) μg/L vs.(73.01±55.99) μg/L,CNP of Group 2:(69.16±32.39) μg/L vs.(44.11±27.23) μg/L;E2 of group 1:(5231.38±1489.00) ng/L vs.(1985.52±662.54) ng/L,E2 of Group 2:(3678.45±969.57) ng/L vs.(1567.71±493.93) ng/L;t =2.968,2.752,8.147,14.567;P＜0.05).CNP and E2 on the day of retrieving oocytes and E2 on the day of HCG of Group 1 were higher than that of Group 2(t=2.866,2.227,2.173;P＜0.05).CNP in follicular fluid in Group 1 was higher than that in Group 2,but E2 of in follicular fluid in Group 1 was lower than that in Group 2 (t =2.244,-2.650;P＜0.05).(2) In Group 1,CNP and E2 in follicular fluid of normal fertility were lower than that of unnormal fertility,and E2 in follicular fluid of unnormal fertility were higher than that of no-fertility,and there were significant differences(t =-6.117,-2.374,2.760;P＜0.05).(3) In Group 2,only E2 in follicular fluid of unnormal fertility were higher than that of no-fertility,and there was significant difference(t=2.658,P＜0.05).(4) In 2 groups,CNP in follicular fluid of high-quality embryo were lower than that of non-high-quality embryo,and there was significant difference (t =-2.910,-2.029;P＜0.05).CNP in follicular fluid of non-high-quality embryo in Group 1 were higher than that in Group 2,but E2 in follicular fluid of non-high-quality embryo in Group 2 were higher than that in Group 1,and there were significant differences (t =2.141,-2.009;P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion There are differences in the change of CNP in the patients with PCOS and non-PCOS,and there are some deficiencies of the first meiosis in the patients with PCOS.

Objective: Study on the improvement of quality standard for Zicao ointment. Methods: The content of shikonin and β,β’-dimethylacrylshikonin was determined by high performance liquid chromatogram (HPLC). The column was Inertsil ODS-3 C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase comprising of acetonitrile-0.05% formic acid solution (70:30). The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min, the detection wavelength was 275 nm, and the column temperature was 25 ℃. Results: The linear range of shikonin and β,β’-dimethylacrylshikonin were 0.04-0.81 μg (r=0.999 5) and 0.41-10.36 μg (r=0.999 2). The average recovery were 103.32% and 101.80%, the RSD were 1.96% and 2.11%. Conclusions The method is simple, accurate and sensitive to control the quality of Zicao ointment.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the IL-17 expression in HIV/tuberculosis-coinfected patients and its role in the pathogenesis of this coinfection.MethodsFifty-four HIV infected patients were divided into three groups:simple HIV infected group,HIV with latent tuberculosis infection (HIV+ LTBI) group and HIV coinfected with active tuberculosis (HIV+ ATB) group.The whole blood intracellular cytokine staining was performed and samples were then detected by BD FACSCanto.The expressions of CD4+ IL-17+ T cells and CD4+ IFNγ+ T cells were analyzed using FACSDiva software.Comparison between groups was done by independent sample t test.ResultsThe CD4+ T cell count and viral load among these three groups were comparable.There were no significant difference of the expression of CD4+ IL-17+ T cells between simple HIV infected group and HIV+ LTBI group (1.40 ± 1.01) ％ vs (1.29±0.86) ％,(t=0.336,P＞0.05),but both of these two groups were much higher than HIV+ATB group (t=3.680,t=2.516,P＜0.05).There were no significant differences of the expression of CD4+ IFNγ+ T cells among these three groups [(32.8±24.0)％ vs (40.3±1 21.9) ％ vs (46.1±31.2)％,(t=-0.939,t=-1.602,t=-0.646,P＞0.05)].ConclusionThe Th17 response is down-regulated in HIV/tuberculosis-coinfected patients,which may play an important antitubercular role in the pathogenesis of coinfection.
