Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(04):-
Amounts of tanshenoside Ⅰ in cultivated Ludangshen of different years of cultivation history was determined by TLC densitometry in comparison with that in wildly grown Ludangshen and cultivated Taidangshen. Results showed that tanshenoside Ⅰ in cultivated Ludangshen decreases with increased years of cultivation history while that in cultivated Taidangsihen is slightly lower than that of Ludangshen of the same years of cultivation. Tanshenosde Ⅰ in wild Taidangshen is also lower than that in cultivated Taidangshen

Objective: To establish the quality control method for ephedrine in Herba Ephedrae and its preparation Zhisoulixiao Tablets (Herba Ephedrae, Pericarpium Papaveris, Semen Armeniacae Amrum, Radix Glycyrrhizae, Gypsum Fibrosum, Semen Lepidii, Semen Raphani, etc.) and Zhisoulixiao Capsules. Methods:Ephedrine hydrochloride contents in Herba Ephedrae and its preparation Zhisoulixiao Tablets and Zhisoulixiao Capsules were determined by TLC scanning with a mixture of chloroform ethyl acetate methanol water(13∶40∶22∶10)as a developer and single wavelength reflection sawtooth scanning. Results: The methodological study showed that a good linear correlation in the range from 0.29112?g to 1.4556?g of the ephedrine hydrochloride applied. The average recovery of ephedrine hydrochloride in Herba Ephedrae, Zhisoulixiao Tablets and Zhisoulixiao Capsules was 78.74%( n=5 ),99.46%( n=5) and 99.14%( n=5) ,respectively. Conclusion: The method established is simple, accurate with good reproducible and high precision. The method can be used for the quality control of Herba Ephedrae and its preparation

AIM: To establish a simple and rapid method for the quality control of Chinese traditional medicine. METHODS: Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae,Fructus Psoraleae,Rhizoma Atractylodis macrocephalae and Radix Codonopsis in Wenweishu Tablets were identified by TLC at two thin-layer chromatographic plates. The contents for hesperidin, psoralen and isopsoralen in this preparation were determined simultaneously by HPLC. RESULTS: The methodological study showd that a good linear correlation existed in the range of 0.039 6-0.495 ?g(r=(0.999 99)) of hesperidin,0.018 5-0.231 ?g(r=0.999 98) of psoralen and 0.019 7-0.246 2 ?g(r=0.999 91) of isopsoralen applied respectively. The average recovery of hesperidin was 98.42%(n=9),RSD was 2.69%;The average recovery of psoralen was 98.29%(n=9),RSD was 1.08%.The average recovery of isopsoralen was(98.93%)(n=9),RSD was 2.41%. CONCLUSION: The method is simple、rapid and practicle.
