1.The application of seminar teaching on postgraduate education of ophthalmology

To investigate the application of seminar teaching on postgraduate education of ophthalmology,postgraduate from Grade 2008 to Grade 2010 were divided into experiment groups and control groups.Seminar teaching and conventional teaching were applied to two groups respectively.The performances of seminar teaching groups at each grade were better than the control groups ( P < 0.05 ).Thus,seminar teaching can enhance theory and operation ability of postgraduate.
2.Study on the relationship between self-compassion and perceived social support of probationer ;nursing students

Objective To investigate the actuality of self-compassion and perceived social support among probationer nursing students, and to analyze the relationship between them. Methods 552 probationer nursing students from three tertiary hospitals in Suzhou were investigated by means of the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) and Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS). Results The probationer nursing students′ self-compassion and perceived social support was (3.20 ± 0.61) points and (5.81 ± 1.13) points, respectively. Scores of the total scale and the factors of self-compassion and perceived social support were positively correlated (r=0.485, P<0.01). Hierarchical regression analysis showed that perceived social support (family support and friend support) could be used to forecast the self-compassion of probationer nursing students and independently explain the variation of their self-compassion of 21.5%(△R2=0.215, P<0.01). Conclusions Self-compassion among probationer nursing students is in medium level, and perceived social support an important factor affecting their self-compassion.
3.Expression of tumor CD90 in hepatocellular carcinoma and its relationship with epithelial mesenchymal transition

Objective To investigate the expression of stem cell associated protein CD90 in primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and its relationship with clinical pathological characters ;to analyze the relation between CD90 and epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers E‐cadherin (E‐cad) and N‐cadherin (N‐cad) .Methods The expressions of CD90 ,E‐cad and N‐cad in 53 tissues of HCC were detected by immunohistochemistry streptavidin‐perosidase (SP ) method , and 10 surrounding of liver benign lesions were studied as control .The expression of E‐cad and N‐cad in CD90 positive cells of two HCC cell lines (M HCC97‐L and HCCLM‐3 ) was measured by flow cytometry .Chi square test and Spearman rank correlation analysis were performed for count data .Independent sample t test was used for measurement data comparison .Results There was no CD90 expression in control liver tissue . The positive rate of CD90 expression in HCC tissue was (34% ,18/53) ,and the difference between two groups was statistically significant (χ2 = 4 .755 , P< 0 .05) .The expression of CD90 in HCC was positively correlated with portal vein cancer embolus (r= 0 .378 , P< 0 .05) and was negatively correlated with histological differentiation degree and capsular infiltration (r= -0 .398 and -0 .519 ,both P<0 .05) .The expression of CD90 was negatively correlated with the expression of E‐cad (r= -0 .341 , P<0 .05) ,however was positively correlated with the expression of N‐cad (r=0 .441 ,P<0 .05) .The positive expression rate of E‐cad in CD90 positive HCCLM‐3 cells was lower than that of MHCC97‐L cells ((2 .56 ± 0 .29)% and (4 .31 ± 0 .18)% ,t= 8 .757 ,P< 0 .05) ,while the positive expression rate of N‐cad was higher than that of MHCC97‐L cells ((8 .10 ± 1 .45)% and (5 .51 ± 0 .44)% ,t= -9 .667 ,P<0 .05) .Conclusions The expression of stem cell associated protein CD90 is correlated with the EMT of HCC .Their interaction promote tumor infiltration metastasis w hich may be a new target of HCC treatment .
4.Clinical efficacy of the combination of lesion debridement with amniotic membrane cover and drugs for fungal keratitis

Background Fungal keratitis is a common ocular surface disease and the treatment is dissatisfactory because of short of high efficiency,low toxicity and broad-spectrum medication.Penetrating keratoplasty is an effective therapy,but its clinical applications is limited due to lack of corneal donor.To seek a low-cost and effective management is of an important significance.Objective This clinical trial was to compare the clinical effectiveness between corneal ulcer debridement combined with amniotic membrane cover+drugs therapy and corneal ulcer debridement of combined drugs therapy for fungal keratitis.Methods A prospective cases-controlled study was designed.A total 210 eyes of 210 patients with fungal keratitis were included from January 2001 to January 2013 in Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University.The patients were randomly divided into observation group (109 eyes) and control group (101 eyes).The combination therapy of corneal ulcer debridement with amniotic membrane cover and drugs was administered in the observational group,and only lesion debridement and drugs therapy was performed on the control group.The curative effect,postoperative visual acuity and therapeutic course were compared between the two groups.Results The effective rates for fungal keratitis were 100.00%,90.41%,77.78% in the mild,moderate and severe patients,respectively,and those of the control group were 52.38%,80.00%,25.00% respectively,showing significant differences between them (U =2.211,2.214,2.356,all at P<0.05).The total effective rate was significantly higher in the observational group than that in the control group (91.09% versus 75.23%),with a significant difference between them (U=3.040,P=0.002).Postoperative visual acuity was better in the observational group than that in the control group (0.44 ± 0.04 versus 0.22 ± 0.03),with a significant difference between them (t =2.225,P < 0.05).The mean therapeutic course was (22.4 ± 1.8) days in the observational group,which is shorter than (33.2±2.4) days in the control group,with a significant difference between them (t =2.097,P<0.05).Conclusions Combination therapy of lesion debridement with amniotic membrane coverage and drugs can shorten treating duration and improve vision,and it is superior to only lesion debridement and drugs therapy.
5.Expression and effect of nucleotide oligomerization domain-like receptors in the initial of Aspergillus fumigatus keratitis in rats

Background Studies have determined that nucleotide binding oligomerization domain 2 (NOD2) plays a key role in innate immune response.However,whether NOD2 participates in the nature defense of fungal keratitis is unclear.Objective This study was to investigate the expression and significance of NOD2 on cornea in the initial of Aspergillus fumigatus keratitis (AFK) in rats.Methods Seventy-two adult clean Wistar rats were randomized into the normal control group,only corneal epithelial scraped group and AFK model group,and the AFK models were established by incubating Aspergillus fumigatus to cornea after corneal epithelium was scraped.All the operations were performed in the right eyes of rats.Reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) was carried out to detect the expression of NOD2 mRNA in corneal epithelium 4,8,16,24 hours after operation.Twenty-four hours after operation,the expression of NOD2 protein in rat corneas was examined by immunochemistry and immnunofluorescence technology.Also,the rat corneas were obtained for regular histopathological examination.The use and care of the animals complied with Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee Guidebook by NIH.Results All the models were made successfully.RT-PCR revealed that a fewer NOD2 mRNA were expressed on cornea in the normal control group,but the expressing levels of NOD2 mRNA were increased in the only corneal epithelial scraped group and AFK model group.Compared with only corneal epithelial scraped group,the elevated values of NOD2 mRNA expression in the AFK model group were statistically significant at 4,8,16 and 24 hours after operation (t =-0.409,-0.439,-0.534,-0.618,all at P=0.000).The histopathological examination displayed that the cornel tissue had intact structure in the normal control group,and partly corneal epithelial deficiency,slight corneal swelling and fewer neutrophil granulocytes were seen in the only corneal epithelial scraped group.However,corneal ulcer,severe corneal edema and a lot of neutrophil granulocytes were exhibited in the AFK model group.Immunochemistry and immnunofluorescence staining evidenced that weaker expression of NOD2 was visualized in the corneal epithelial and endothelial layers,and obviously enhanced staining was seen in the AFK model group.The expressing levels (absorbancy) were 0.045 ± 0.005,0.050 ± 0.005 and 0.092 ± 0.006 in the normal control group,only corneal epithelial scraped group and AFK model group,respectively,showing a significant increase in the AFK model group compared with the only corneal epithelial scraped group (t =0.042,P =0.000).Conclusions Expression of NOD2 is upregulated in the corneas with AFK,suggesting that NOD2 participates the natural defense in the initial of fungal keratitis.NOD2 may play an important role in the process of anti-fungal innate immune response in cornea.

Objective:To explore the effect of the virulence factor OatA during Staphylococcus aureus infection.Methods: In vitro,wild type of Staphylococcus aureus USA300,OatA gene deletion strain or OatA gene complemented strain were used to infect mice bone marrow divided macrophages (BMDMs).Subsequently BMDMs were separated and the case of cell death were detected.In vivo,mice pulmonary infection model was constructed with nasal inhalation of Staphylococcus aureus.Alveolar macrophages were isolated and the case of cell death were detected.Results: In contrast to wild type and OatA gene complemented strain,OatA gene deletion strain induced severer macrophage death both in vitro and in vivo.Conclusion: The virulence factor OatA inhibits Staphylococcus aureus infection-induced macrophage death.
7.A comparative study on the pathology of thyroid nodules in Changchun and Shanghai areas

Objective To study the constituent ratio of thyroid nodules in inland Changchun area and compare it with the data in the coastal Shanghai area Methods A retrospective analysis was made on 9216 cases of thyroid nodules proved by pathology in a period of 39 years in Changchun and on 7018 cases in a period of 37 years in Shanghai, to compare the difference of the constituent ratio of thyroid cyst, nodular goiter, thyroid adenoma and thyroid carcinoma in these two areas Results The constituent ratio of thyroid cyst in Changchun and Shanghai area was 1 83% and 8 68%, that of nodular goiter was 48 31% and 18 62%, that of thyroid adenoma was 39 30% and 49 94%, and that of thyroid carcinoma was 10 55% and 22 76%, respectively There was a significant difference in the constituent ratio of thyroid nodules between the two areas Conclusion The difference is significant in the constituent ratio of thyroid nodules between China inland and coastal areas
8.Practice and Research on the Occupational Protection Compensation Education in Nursing Students in Department of Orthopedics

Objective:To explore the effect of occupational protection compensation education carried out in nursing students practice in department of orthopedic on the occupational protection knowledge level and occupational injuries. Methods:From 2013 to 2014, nursing students practice in department of orthopedics did not receives occupational protection compensation education, from 2014 to 2015, nursing students received occupational protection compensation education before practice. Questionnaire investigation of nursing students at the end of practice was done. Results:Compared with nursing students practice in department of orthopedic from 2013 to 2014,occupational protection knowledge score was higher and the number of occupational injuries occurred during internship people was significantly lower in nursing students practice in department of orthopedic from 2014 to 2015 (P<0.05 and 0.01) . Conclusion:To strengthen the occupational protection compensation education in nursing students, can improve knowledge of occupational safety and protective ability,reduce occurred rate of the occupational injuries.
9.Research on piezoelectric protein sensor array for rapid detecting HIV(1+2) antibody.

To research piezoelectric immunosensor array for rapid detecting HIV(1+2), piezoelectric immunosensor array matrix was designed. HIV(1+2)C1 antigen was immobilized onto the silver electrodes of quartz-crystal microbalance, which was modified with adsorption and cross-linked method. In the clean air flow and monitoring environment, standard quality control and clinical serum sample were detected. The linear range for the measurement of HIV(1+2) was 0.01-0.2 NCU/ml. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of HIV(1+2) piezoelectric protein sensor array were 91.7%, 93.3% and 92.7% respectively.

10.A clinical study of chromosome translocations in extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue in Chinese patients

Objective To investigate the genetic aberrations in extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mueosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphomas from different sites of the body in Chinese patients. Methods Two hundred and seventeen paraffin-embedded MALT lymphoma specimens from 11 major sites were studied with interphase fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) to detect t(11; 18) (q21;q21)/API2-MALT1, t(1; 14) (p22; q32)/IGH-BCL10, (14; 18) (q32; q21)/IGH-MALT1 and BCL6 gene involved chromosome translocations. Results These translocations were mutually exclusive and detected in 21% (46/217) of the cases, including t(11;18) (q21;q21) API2-MALT1 13% (29/217), t (1;14)(p22 ;q32) IGH-BCLIO in 1% (3/217), t(14;18) (q32;q21) IGH-MALT1 1% (2/217), BCL6 involved translocation in 2% (4/217) and IGH-unknown translocation partner in 4% (8/217). t(11; 18) (q21;q21)API2-MALT1 was found with the highest frequency in MALT lymphoma from lungs (47% , 8/17) and small intestine (29%, 4/14), followed by salivary gland (17%, 1/6), stomach (14%, 12/84) and ocular adnexae (6% , 4/68). t(1 ;14) (p22;q32) was only detected in lungs (12%, 2/17) and stomach (1%, 1/84). t(14;18) (q32;q21) was mainly detected in lungs (6%, 1/17) and ocular adnexae (2%, 1/68). BCL6 gene involved translocation was detected in salivary gland (17% , 1/6) and stomach (4%, 3/84). Conclusions It is demonstrated that the four translocatidns occur with markedly variable frequencies in MALT lymphoma of different sites in Chinese patients. The distributions of these chromosome translocations in Chinese patients are slightly different from those reported in western patients.
