Objective To investigate the role and clinical significance of RANTES in endometriosis (EM). Methods The serum level of RANTES was examined by ELISA in 50 patients with endometriosis (EM group), 32 patients with benign ovarian neoplasms (disease control group) and 30 normal control women (normal control group). The level of RANTES in peritoneal fluid was examined in EM group and disease control group. Results The serum level of RANTES was significantly higher in EM group (108.73±60.69) ng/L than that of disease control group (31.26±20.33) ng/L and normal control group (29.77 ± 11.58) ng/L (P＜0.05). The level of RANTES in peritoneal fluid was significantly higher in EM group (726.31 ± 259.83) ng/L than that of disease control group (116.19 ± 81.64) ng/L (P＜0.05). The levels of RANTES in serum and peritoneal fluid in EM group were positively correlated with clinical stage respectively (rs=0.501 and 0.562,P＜0.01). The level of RANTES in peritoneal fluid in EM group was positively correlated with dysmenorrhea score (rs=0.527,P＜0.01). The serum level of RANTES was positively correlated with the level of RANTES in peritoneal fluid in EM group (rs=0.363, P＜0.05). The levels of RANTES in serum and peritoneal fluid were positively correlated with inflammatory response degree in endometriotic tissues in EM group (rs=0.326 and 0.391,P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Conclusion Detection of the serum level of RANTES by ELISA may be one of parameters for diagnosis of endometriosis.

Objective:CⅡTA is a transcriptional factor for transactivation of HLA expression.The aim of the study is to investigate the regulation of prednisone on inducible expression of CⅡTA in native PBMCs.Methods:Normal PBMC was stimulated with combination of IFN-? and PHA with or without the presense of prednisone.CⅡTA mRNA in the cells was amplified by RT-PCR,for analyzing transcriptive level in three designed groups of native PBMCs,activated PBMCs using the biomodulators and the triggered PBMCs in presense of prednisoloen.Results:Normal human PBMCs constitutively expressed CⅡTA,which was increased by stimulation of PHA and IFN-?.Prednisone significantly inhibited the inducible pattern of CⅡTA expression.Conclusion:Prednisone has showed inhibition effect on the expression of PBMC CⅡTA by descending transcription of the specialized transcriptional factor in activated PBMCs,whereby to downregulate the expression of HLA in PBMCs.

Methods Sixty cases of COPD were divided into 2 groups randomly, the treatment group was 30 cases and the control was 30 cases. ObjectiveTo analyze the influence of different anesthesia methods on the stress response and hemodynamic of elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC).Methods Fifty-eight elderly patients who needed LC were selected and divided by random digits table method into GAEA group received general anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia and GA group received general anesthesia with 29 cases each.The stress response and changes of hemodynamic were observed.Results Blood pressure and heart rate (HR) were elevated during pneumoperitoneum in both groups.Blood pressure and HR returned to normal at 30 minutes after pneumoperitoneum in GAEA group,which were recovered more slowly in GA group.There was no significant difference in systolic blood pressure (SBP),diastolic blood pressure (DBP),HR between two groups before and after anesthesia (P＞0.05).SBP,DBP,HR of GAEA group were ( 123.8 ± 25.9) mm Hg ( 1 mm Hg =0.133 kPa),(85.9 ± 8.4) mm Hg,(83.2 ± 7.4) times/min during pneumoperitoneum,respectively,(118.2 ±21.1) mm Hg,(84.4 ±8.3) mm Hg,(82.8 ±7.5)times/min at 10 min after pneumoperitoneum,( 114.9 ± 20.7) mm Hg,(80.2 ± 7.6) mm Hg,(78.5 ± 10.4)times/min at 30 min after pneumoperitoneum.SBP,DBP,HR of GA group were (138.3 ±26.7) mm Hg,(91.2 ± 8.8) mm Hg,(89.3 ± 10.1 ) times/min during pneumoperitoneum,( 130.3 ± 21.3) mm Hg,(89.2 ±8.6) mm Hg,(88.2 ± 9.7) times/min at 10 min after pneumoperitoneum,( 126.2 ± 20.7) mm Hg,(85.2 ±8.4) mm Hg,(84.9 ± 9.6 ) times/min at 30 min after pneumoperitoneum,respectively.SBP,DBP,HR during pneumoperitoneum,at 10 min and 30 min after pneumoperitoneum in two groups had significant differences (P ＜0.05).The anesthesia onset time in GAEA group was(73.2 ±24.9) s,and the awake time after operation was (31.6 ± 10.2) min,while those in GA group were (78.1 ± 22.4) s and (35.9 ± 14.3) min.The anesthesia onset time and awake time after operation in GAEA group were shorter than those in GA group,but had no significant difference (P＞ 0.05 ).Postoperative visual analogue score of GAEA group [ ( 13.4 ± 8.2)scores] was obviously lower than that of GA group[(26.3 ± 10.1) scores] (P ＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions between GAEA group [27.59％(8/29)] and GA group [6.90％(2/29)] had statistical difference (P ＜ 0.05).ConclusionsCompared with general anesthesia,general anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia during LC for elderly patients can reduce the occurrence of intraoperative stress responses and have more steady hemodynamic,better anesthetic effect and faster recovery.But it may cause the incidence of nausea,headache and other postoperative adverse reactions increase.

Objective: To investigate the mechanism of intestinal anastomosis in a rat model of intra-abdominal sepsis.Methods:Male Wistar rats were randomized into 2 groups.Control rats underwent intestinal anastomosis.Sepsis group underwent intestinal anastomosis after intestinal fistula operation.fibronectin(FN),?-smooth muscle actin(?-SMA),vascular endorthelial growth factor(VEGF) and apoqtosis in anastomoses were measured.Results:FN,?-SMA,VEGF in control group were higher than sepsis group and apoptosis were lower than the other.Conclusion:It is indicated that the repair of tissue was out of balance after infection,and the organization repair was retarded.The collagenoblast and the epithelial cell migration were slowed down,and the blood capillary regeneration was slowly.Not only the granulation organization was reduced,but also apoptosis was prematurely appeared.

The SEM specimens of the blood vessels of the gall-bladder in the full term fetus were produced with the methyl methacrylate cast. The specimens were dryed and gilded with EIKO. IB-3. and then observed under scanning electron microscope. The microvessels of the wall of gall-bladder obviously were divided into three layers, namely: serous vessels, muscular vessels and mucous vessels. The serous and muscular vessels are similar to that of the intestinal canal. However the mucous vessels were characterized by subepithelial capillary networks and veins of large calibre in the lamina propria. The capillary networks were connected directly with the venous plexus by the capillaries. There are fewer arterioles passing and branching among the venous plexuses. Each arteriole was connected to capillary networks. The short capillary was seen frequently between the arterioles and the venous plexus, serving as communication between them.

Objective: To investigate the mechanism of combined growth hormone and fibrin glue on early healing of intestinal anastomosis in intra-abdominal sepsis rats.Methods: Male Wistar rats of abdominal sepsis were randomized into 3 groups.Control rats were given intestinal anastomosis after intestinal fistula operation.Glue group was given intestinal anastomosis and fibrin glue after intestinal fistula.GH group was given intestinal anastomosis and fibrin glue and growth hormone after intestinal fistula.FN,?-SMA,VEGF,and apoptosis in anastomoses were measured.Results: Expression of intestinal FN,?-SMA,and VEGF in GH group were higher than those in other groups and apoptosis were lower than others.Conclusion: It is indicated that combined growth hormone and fibrin glue ameliorates healing of intestinal anastomosis in intra-abdominal sepsis rats.

Objective To optimize enrichment and purification technology of total flavonoids from seed shell of Scutellaria baicalensis by macroporous resin.Methods Scutellarin was selected as the index,and its content was determined by HPLC.Types of macroporous resin were optimized by static adsorption elution tests.Enrichment and purification technology was investigated by orthogonal test and single-factor tests.Results AB-8 macroporous resin showed better effects than others.Optimum purification condition was as follows:sample concentration was 30.0 g · L-1,the best adsorption capacity was 0.3 g· g-1,adsorption velocity was 1.0 mL· min-1,diameter-height ratio was 1 ∶ 3,the eluting agent was 20 BV purified water,with the total polyphenols being desorbed by 5 BV of 70％ ethanol Conclusion The technology is scientific,simple and highly reproducible.It can be applied to enrich and purify total flavonoids from seed shell of Scutellaria baicalensis by macroporous resin.

Objective To explore the effect of preoperative radiotherapy on angiogenesis of rectal cancer. Methods Twenty patients with advanced lower rectal carcinoma received preoperative radiation with a dosage of 30～40 Gy each time for a total of 15～20 sessions during a period of 3～4 weeks. The definitive surgery was performed 7～10 days after radiotherapy. Another 20 patients undergoing tumor resection without preoperative radiotherapy served as control. Tumor sample was sent for pathology. The expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and CD34 in the rectal cancer were detected immunohistochemically.
