Objective To construct a scientific and feasible evaluation indicator system of health education effect of our country′s hospitalized patients with diabetes. Methods On the basis of literature review and semi-structured interview combined with group discussion, alternative index system were determined, and then the Delphi method were used for two round consultation with 30 diabetes experts to finally determine indicator evaluation system. Results Positive coefficient of the two rounds consultation were 86.7% (26/30) and 100.0% (26/26) respectively, experts′ authority coefficient was 0.889,and the Kendall W coefficients of concordance were 0.447,0.369 and 0.302 respectively (P<0.01). The evaluation indicator system of health education effect was consisted of 6 fisrt-level indicators, 24 second-level indicators and 55 third-level indicators. Conclusions The evaluation indicator system of health education effect is reliable and scientific, which can provide objective and quantitative standards for health education effect of hospitalized patients with diabetes in our country.

Objective To carry out multi-path health education referred to the results on urinary calculi component analysis based on the component of urinary calculi in Jiaodong area and to improve the effective rate of health education of patients. Methods A total of 190 inpatients with urolithiasis were selected by convenience sampling from January 2015 to January 2016. They were divided into experimental group (n=95, multi-path health education, routine educational mode + explaining in detail based on the analysis report of the composition of urinary stones) and control group (n=95, routine educational mode) according to the composition of urinary stones. The effects of health education were compared. Results The total scores of the dietary knowledge about urolithiasis of patients in experimental group and control group were (17.82±0.90) and (13.99±1.53) with a significant difference (t=9.875,P<0.01). In terms of complications, there were 12 patients with gross hematuria, 10 patients with backache, 8 patients with bladder irritation, 5 patients with urinary tract infection during intubation of double J tube in experimental group lower than those in control group with significant differences (χ2=4.74, 4.66, 5.22, 5.59;P<0.05).Conclusions The multi-path and targeted health education combined with the analysis report of the composition of urinary stones can help to improve the effects of health education and reduce the postoperative complications.

Objective To explore the effects of quality control circle ( QCC ) on decreasing fraction defective of urine culture collecting. Methods QCC team was established. Followed the steps of QCC techniques, we analyzed the reasons of fraction defective of the urine culture, formulated countermeasures, and analyzed the results between before and after the implementation of countermeasures. Results The fraction defective of the urine culture declined from 10. 37% to 2. 46%, and objective achieved 111. 72% with the progress rate of 76. 28% after the implementation of countermeasures. Conclusions QCC program is a useful method to decrease fraction defective of the urine culture and regulate the standard of collecting. Meanwhile, the ability of the circle members was improved to resolve clinical problems.
