ObjectiveTo survey 0—6 years old disabled children in Guiyang.Methods4 999 children aged 0—6 years old chosen randomly from 9 145 children of 12 blocks were investigated with the disability sampling survey criteria of 1987.ResultsThe rate of disabled children in Guiyang was 1.58%, and was not significantly different compared with that of whole country (1.36%) and other three areas including Siping City (P>0.05),but significantly higher than that of other six districts including Heping district of Tianjin municipality (P<0.05). All kinds of disability found by this survey were separately intellectual disability (0.92%),comprehensive disability (0.28%),limb disability (0.24%),vision disability (0.10%),psychiatric disability (0.03%),and hearing disability (0.02%). Rates of intellectual and vision disabilities were significantly higher than that of whole country ( P>0.05).ConclusionSome diseases are directly relative to occurrence of disability. The poor income of the children family, lower education of his parents and not gotten preschool education were risk factors of disability. The institution based rehabilitation and community based rehabilitation are main rehabilitation forms to disabled children.

Objective:To explore the application effect of aerobic exercise combined with progressive muscle relaxation training in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 90 patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis who were regularly followed up in Peritoneal Dialysis Center of Yancheng Third People's Hospital in Jiangsu Province were selected from July to December of 2020. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the intervention group and the control group, with 45 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given routine nursing, while patients in the intervention group were given aerobic exercise combined with progressive muscle relaxation training for 12 weeks on the basis of routine nursing. Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale (GSRS), Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Questionnaire (GerdQ) and urea clearance index (Kt/V) were used to evaluate the intervention effects of the two groups. Results:After 12 weeks of intervention, the incidence of dyspepsia, constipation, reflux, diarrhea, abdominal pain, eating disorder and GerdQ score greater than 8 in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (χ 2=6.429, 5.421, 6.403, 6.559, 3.986, 7.647, 5.789; P<0.05). The total score of GSRS and the scores of each dimension of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( Z=-5.829, -2.637, -2.434, -2.812, -2.447, -2.027, -2.9958; P<0.05). The Kt/V compliance ratio of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ 2=5.683, P<0.05) . Conclusions:Compared with conventional nursing methods, aerobic exercise combined with progressive muscle relaxation training can reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal symptoms in peritoneal dialysis patients, effectively alleviate gastrointestinal symptoms and improve adequacy of dialysis.

Journal of Clinical Medicine in Practice 2024;28(8):99-103
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of treatment compliance in patients undergoing intracranial aneurysm (IA) surgery based on based on latent growth mixture model (LGMM). Methods A total of 150 patients who underwent IA surgery were selected as the study objects. The general data of patients were collected and the compliance scale was used to evaluate the compliance of patients. LGMM was used to predict the change track of treatment compliance of patients with IA after surgery, and the influencing factors of treatment compliance of patients with IA were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results A total of 138 valid questionnaires were collected in this study, and the effective questionnaire recovery rate was 92.00%. The treatment compliance score of patients with IA was (5.18±1.59) points. After LGMM fitting, 3 potential profiles were selected. There were 37 patients with good compliance (26.81%), 42 patients with moderate compliance (30.43%), and 59 patients with poor compliance (42.75%). The potential profile category attribution probability matrix was 97.29% for patients with good compliance, 95.24% for patients with moderate compliance, and 98.31% for patients with poor compliance. The proportion of poor compliance patients with age of 30 to 50 years old, junior high school education level or below, combined with two or more diseases, out-of-pocket (medical expenses) and Hunt-Hess grade Ⅲ was significantly higher than those with good compliance and moderate compliance (

Objective To investigate the antimicrobial resistance profile of the Streptococcus pneumoniae strains isolated from respiratory tract of children in Zhongshan Boai Hospital, Guangdong Province for better management of such infections. Methods The sputum samples were collected from respiratory tract of children in pediatric outpatient and inpatient from May 2013 to August 2017. S. pneumoniae strains were isolated and identified and their susceptibility to antimicrobial agentswas determined. Results The prevalence of S. pneumoniae was 10.6% (2 963/28 006) in the sputum samples. S. pneumoniae was mainly isolated from children under 6 years old, and relatively higher in winter and spring. About 43.0% of the S. pneumoniae isolates was associated with mixed infection, especially Moraxella catarrhalis and Haemophilus influenzae. About 6.0% of the S. pneumoniae isolates were non-susceptible to penicillin, 59.3% non-susceptible to ceftriaxone, and more than 95% non-susceptible to erythromycin, clindamycin or tetracycline. However, more than 95% of the isolates were susceptible to chloramphenicol or ofloxacin. No S. pneumoniae isolate was found resistant to rifampin, linezolid or vancomycin. Conclusions The respiratory tract infection caused by S. pneumoniae of children is increasing year by year, which is associated with age, season, and higher rate of mixed infection. These data showed that penicillin non-susceptible S. pneumoniae is highly prevalent in Zhongshan. More than 95% of the S. pneumoniae isolates from children are resistant to erythromycin, clindamycin or tetracycline. S. pneumoniae isolates should be closely monitored for the emergence of multidrug resistant strains. Appropriate control measures must be taken according to the results of susceptibility testing.

Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases 2022;39(3):246-250
To investigate the clinical characteristics of myopathy with positive anti-signal recognition particle (SRP) antibody. Methods The clinical data, laboratory examination, diagnosis and treatment of 4 patients with anti-SRP antibody positive myopathy were retrospectively analyzed. Results Four patients had different onset modes and could have chronic onset. The main manifestations were proximal limb weakness and dysphagia, significantly increased serum creatine kinase and positive serum anti-SRP antibody. Electromyography (EMG) suggested myogenic damage, but may also be accompanied by some neurogenic damage. Myocardial enzyme and transaminase elevated in some patients. Muscle pathology showed degeneration, necrosis, and regeneration of skeletal muscle fibers. Hypertrophic and atrophic muscle fibers were involved in both types. Inflammatory cells may be present, mainly macrophages, with a small infiltration of lymphocytes. Expression of major histocompatibility complex class 1(MHC-I)was diffusely positive or weakly positive, and membrane attack complex (C5b-9) staining showed complement deposition of necrotic muscle fibers. Conclusion Anti-SRP antibody positive myopathy is an important type of immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy with a variety of clinical manifestations. The diagnosis mainly depends on the detection of anti-SRP antibody in blood and muscle pathology. If it can be identified early, the administration of early sufficient dose and long-term effective maintenance dose of drug therapy can improve the prognosis.

Objective To explore the association between lipid profiles and left ventricular hypertrophy in a Chinese general population. Methods We conducted a retrospective observational study to investigate the relationship between lipid markers [including triglycerides, total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, non-HDL-cholesterol, apolipoprotein A-I, apolipoprotein B, lipoprotein[a], and composite lipid profiles] and left ventricular hypertrophy. A total of 309,400 participants of two populations (one from Beijing and another from nationwide) who underwent physical examinations at different health management centers between 2009 and 2018 in China were included in the cross-sectional study. 7,475 participants who had multiple physical examinations and initially did not have left ventricular hypertrophy constituted a longitudinal cohort to analyze the association between lipid markers and the new-onset of left ventricular hypertrophy. Left ventricular hypertrophy was measured by echocardiography and defined as an end-diastolic thickness of the interventricular septum or left ventricle posterior wall > 11 mm. The Logistic regression model was used in the cross-sectional study. Cox model and Cox model with restricted cubic splines were used in the longitudinal cohort. Results In the cross-sectional study, for participants in the highest tertile of each lipid marker compared to the respective lowest, triglycerides [odds ratio (OR): 1.250, 95%CI: 1.060 to 1.474], HDL-cholesterol (OR: 0.780, 95%CI: 0.662 to 0.918), and lipoprotein(a) (OR: 1.311, 95%CI: 1.115 to 1.541) had an association with left ventricular hypertrophy. In the longitudinal cohort, for participants in the highest tertile of each lipid marker at the baseline compared to the respective lowest, triglycerides [hazard ratio (HR): 3.277, 95%CI: 1.720 to 6.244], HDL-cholesterol (HR: 0.516, 95%CI: 0.283 to 0.940), non-HDL-cholesterol (HR: 2.309, 95%CI: 1.296 to 4.112), apolipoprotein B (HR: 2.244, 95%CI: 1.251 to 4.032) showed an association with new-onset left ventricular hypertrophy. In the Cox model with forward stepwise selection, triglycerides were the only lipid markers entered into the final model. Conclusion Lipids levels, especially triglycerides, are associated with left ventricular hypertrophy. Controlling triglycerides level potentiate to be a strategy in harnessing cardiac remodeling but deserve to be further investigated.

OBJECTIVETo explore the repair effects of acupuncture for promoting the governor vessel and tranquilizing the mind (acupuncture technique) on cerebral white matter injury of premature infants.
METHODSA total of 56 cases of cerebral whiter matter injury of premature infants, the fetal age less than 35 weeks were selected and randomized into an observation group (27 cases) and a control group (29 cases). The routine basic rehabilitation therapy was used in the two groups. Additionally, in the observation group, the acupuncture technique was added, once a day and the treatment for 15 days was as 1 course. Totally, 3 courses of treatment were required. Before and after treatment, the cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and the diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) were adopted to observe the location and severity of cerebral white matter injury. The Gesell developmental scale was used to assess the nerve motor development.
RESULTSAfter treatment, the difference was not significant statistically in the severity of cerebral white matter injury in the infants between the two groups (>0.05). The FA value of cerebral white matter in the interesting zone was increased as compared with that before treatment in the infants of the two groups (both<0.05). The result in the observation group was higher than that in the control groups (<0.05). After treatment, DQ value of each function zone in Gesell scale was all increased as compared with that before treatment in the two groups (all<0.05). After treatment, the DQ values of gross motor, fine motor and social adaptability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (all<0.05). After treatment, the difference was not significant in DQ value of individual-social and speech behaviors between the two groups (both>0.05).
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture technique for promoting the governor vessel and tranquilizing the mind promotes the repair of the function in the premature infants with cerebral white matter injury and further benefits the promotion of the intelligence.
