Objective To study the effect of systematic prenatal education on the outcome of childbirth. Methods Pregnant women (200 cases) were randomly divided into 2 groups, 100 pregnant women who were willing to attend the maternity club to accept the systematic prenatal education were set as the experimental group, while 100 pregnant women who only accepted the regular prenatal health education as the control group. The experimental group not only received regular prenatal health education, but also had classes about prenatal gymnastics training exercise, the simulant delivery process, Lamaze pain relieving delivery, various postures of 3 delivery processes, the knowledge of husband assistance, the physical and psychological change and relevant coping method during gestation and postpartum, etc. The control group only accepted the regular prenatal health education, which was watching breastfecding VCD, having classes about the basic health knowledge and the physical process of pregnant period, delivery period, and puerperal period, the breasffecding knowledge, etc. Results The cesarean section rate and the total stage of labor of the experimental group was significantly less and shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05 and P<0.01). Conclusions The systematic prenatal e-ducation can improve pregnant women's knowledge of pregnancy and parturition, improve pregnant women's confidence of natural delivery, help to regulate nerve and the function of different organs, shorten the childbirth process, and reduce the cesarean section rate.

Three hundred patients with Graves′ disease (GD) were analysed according to clinical data, which showed a negative correlation between thyroid 131 I turnover and effective half life, suggesting that 131 I turnover is an important parameter for GD therapy of 131 I dose calculation, and a higher cure rate is found in GD patients whose 131 I turnover is less than 1.

Objective To investigate the exercise self-regulatory efficacy and its influencing factors of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) patients with acute exacerbation. Methods A total of 126 patients with acute exacerbation of COPD were selected by convenient sampling method and investigated with a demographic questionnaire, EXercise Self-Regulatory Efficacy Scale and Social Support Rating Scale. Results The mean score of exercise self-regulatory efficacy was (79.97 ± 19.78) points at medium level. Multiple-factor analysis showed that availability of social support, other diseases, age and dyssomnia were influencing factors of exercise self-regulatory efficacy of COPD patients with acute exacerbation(t=-3.082-5.351, P<0.01 or 0.05). Conclusions The level of exercise self-regulatory efficacy of COPD patients with acute exacerbation need to be improved, and we should pay more attention to the social support system and the control of other diseases.

0.05).The operation was failed in 2 cases due to the displacement of the renal tube(re-puncture was performed) or massive hemorrhage from torn renal calices(the procedure was terminated, and the bleeding was controlled by compression and hemostat). One patient developed acute pulmonary edema after the operation and was cured by diuretic;4 cases showed postoperative fever;no serious complications occurred in this series. The stone-free rate in one session was 89.1%(49/55).The residual calculi were all cleared by a second operation combined with extracorporeal shock-wave lithotripsy. The patients were followed up for 3 to 12 months(mean,6 months),during which no recurrent case was found.ConclusionUreteroscopy is safe and effective for establishing renal channel in minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy.

AIM: To explore the effects of advanced gly cosyla tion end products (AGEs) on connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) mRNA expressi on and extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis in cultured rat renal mesangial cel ls. METHODS: Rat renal mesangial cells were cultured in vitro un der standard conditions. The content of fibronectin (FN) and type Ⅳ collagen (ColⅣ ) were determined with ELISA after stimulation by AGE-BSA and BSA, respectively. CTGF mRNA expression was assessed by RT-PCR. RESULTS: CTGF mRNA was significantly increased by AGE-BSA in cul tured mesangial cells in a time-and dose-dependent manner compared with BSA cont rol (P

Objective To study the effect of valsartan eluting-stent on vascular neointimal formation and angiotensin Ⅱ type 2 receptor (AT2R) expression and to access its feasibility to prevent in-stent restenosis and the mechanism. Methods Both the valsartan eluting-stents and the carrier eluting-stents were made with multi-layers coated methods. Bare stents, carrier eluting-stents and valsartan eluting-stents were implanted into the rabbits' abdominal aortias respectively. Abdominal aorta angiography was performed before and right after the operation and at 3 months after stent inplantation. The mean diameter of aortas in different groups were measured by Quantitative coronary angiography software. All the rabbits were killed 3 months after the procedure and the cross section of the stented vessel were analysed for neointimal formation. The luminal area, neointimal area, inner elastic membrane luminal area and the maximal inner-membrane thickness were compared between the 3 groups. The expressions of AT2R mRNA and the protein were determined by RT-PCR and histomorphometry. Results There were no significant differences in the mean aortic diameters among the 3 groups. The greatest luminal area and the minimal neointimal hyperplasia was found in the valsartan eluting-stents group compared with the other two groups. The mean luminal areas of the bare stents, carrier eluting stents and the valsartan eluting-stents were 4 345 548?1 258 22 ?m2, 4 302 061?167 952 ?m2 and 5 016 269?207 934 ?m2; the mean neointimal areas were 1 119 635?163 503 ?m2, 1 135 636?136 555 ?m2 and 441 577?74 099 ?m2 and the mean maximal inner-membrane thickness were 210?30 ?m, 192?21 ?m and 116?12 ?m respectively. The level of AT2R mRNA expression in the valsartan eluting-stents group was higher than that in the other two groups. The transcription of AT2R protein showed similar trend. Conclusion Valsartan eluting-stents enhanced AT2R mRNA and protein expression and inhibited neointimal hyperplasia which might play an important role in preventing restenosis.

This study was aimed to optimize the best extraction technology of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Biminkang and establish the HPLC-ELSD method for determination of Astragaloside Ⅳ content. This test used heat-ing reflux which preferred ethanol as solvent extraction, extraction rate as an index to extract. By the single factor ex-periment, three factors which affect extraction rate greater were selected from the solvent concentration, extraction time, liquid ratio and extraction times. And then L9(34) orthogonal test was used to design the extraction technology of compound preparation Biminkang. HPLC-ELSD was performed on Diamonsil C18 column (250 mm í 4.6 mm, 5 μm) with H2O(A)-acetonitrile(B) (0~45 min: 22%B, 45~60 min: 22%~32%B) as mobile phase, flow rate was at 1.0 mL·min-1. The temperature of drift tube was 100℃ and the flow rate of N2 was 2.5 L·min-1. The column temperature was 30℃. The results showed that the best extraction technology of compound preparation Biminkang was liquid-solid ra-tio of 8 mL·g-1, ethanol concentration of 70%, 1.5 h for each extraction time, and extracted for three times. The re-sults showed that the presence of ethanol concentration and extraction times affected significantly. The ultimately de-termined optimal extraction conditions were as follows. The liquid-solid ratio of 8 mL/g, ethanol concentration of 70%, 1.5 h for each extraction time, and extracted for two times. The linear range of Astragaloside Ⅳ content was from 0.87 μg to 8.72 μg. And the regression equation was Y = 1.545 4X + 5.875 9, r = 0.999 7. The average re-covery rate was 95.05%. The RSD was 2.64%. It was concluded that the optimized extraction technology was stable, reasonably practicable, and suitable for industrial production.
