Objective To observe the bacteriostasis of herba houttuyniae liquid in bladder irrigation for treatment of rabbit bladder infection model, and to offer a new way for prevention and treatment of urinary tract infection. Methods Twenty male New Zealand long-eared white rabbits were divided into gentamicin control group and three different concentrations herba houttuyniae groups according to random number table method, each group 5 rabbits. The rabbit bladder infection model was replicated by injecting coli liquid 1 mL (105 cfu/mL) into the urinary bladder through a urethral catheter, and clipping the catheter for 1 hour. After model establishment for 3 days, in the three herba houttuyniae groups, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 g/mL herba houttuyniae liquid 50 mL were injected into the bladder respectively, and in the gentamicin control group, 160 kU gentamicin was injected into the bladder. Before molding and after molding for 3, 5, 7, 9 days, ear blood in rabbit was taken, and white blood cell (WBC) count and neutrophil percentage (N%) were tested; at the same time, the middle segment morning urine was taken to detect bacteriuria and urine WBC positive rates; after the experiment, the animals were sacrificed, the urinary bladder tissues were taken, and the pathological changes in urinary bladder tissue were observed by a light microscope. Results Before molding, the bacteriuria in animals of each group was negative and the results of urine WBC, blood WBC and N% were within normal range. After molding for 3 days, bacteriuria and urine WBC positive rates reached 100%; with the prolongation of treatment after molding, the above two rates in each group were gradually decreased, and herba houttuyniae 0.50 g/mL and 1.00 g/mL groups appeared statistical significance on the 5th day (bacteriuria positive rate was 60% and 40%, urine WBC positive rate was 60% and 40% respectively, while the gentamicin control group and herba houttuyniae 0.25 g/mL group was still 100% positive, allP < 0.01); on the 9th day, the bacteriuria positive rate in both higher dosage herba houttuyniae groups was 0, in 0.25 g/mL group, it still had the positive rate 20%, showing herba houttuyniae 0.50 g/mL and 1.00 g/mL had stronger inhibitory effect than herba houttuyniae 0.25 g/mL. WBC and N% were increased in each group after molding, and on the 3rd day, WBC and N were significantly higher in each group than those before molding [WBC (×109/L): gentamicin control group 13.00±5.23 vs. 8.95±2.69, herba houttuyniae 0.25 g/mL group 14.52±10.28 vs. 8.73±3.16, herba houttuyniae 0.50 g/mL group 12.97±11.33 vs. 7.83±4.51, herba houttuyniae 1.00 g/mL group 13.03±9.17 vs. 6.45±3.85. N%: gentamicin control group 80.99±14.93 vs. 63.41±7.96, herba houttuyniae 0.25 g/mL group 89.62±9.41 vs. 70.01±9.13, herba houttuyniae 0.50 g/mL group 87.69±11.34 vs. 67.75±8.91, herba houttuyniae 1.00 g/mL group 85.67±12.81 vs. 65.12±4.63]. On the 7th day, WBC and N% fell, and on the 9th day, the WBC and N% were restored to normal range in herba houttuyniae 0.50 g/mL and 1.00 g/mL groups [WBC (×109/L): herba houttuyniae 0.50 g/mL group 8.56±5.38, herba houttuyniae 1.00 g/mL group 7.93±4.82. N%: herba houttuyniae 0.50 g/mL group 65.97±8.35, herba houttuyniae 1.00 g/mL group 65.57±9.12]. Under light microscopy, it was shown that the morphological appearances of tissue cells in various layers of bladder mucosa were normal in herba houttuyniae group, demonstrating that herba houttuyniae fluid in bladder did not cause allergic inflammatory reaction, etc. Conclusion The bacteriostatic action of herba houttuyniae liquid for bladder irrigation in treatment of rabbits with urinary tract infection is better than that of gentamicin.

Objective To compare the epidermal shape built by different passages of keratinocytes and its ability of proliferation and differentiation in three-dimensional conditions. Methods Different passages of keratinocytes were used to construct tissue-engineered skin. The morphology of the tissue-engineered skin was observed with HE and PAS staining, while CK1/CK10,CK5/CK14,Ki67 were detected by immunohistochemical assays. Results All the tissue-engineered skin had a significant dermoepidermal structure. The stratification of 1st and 2nd passage skins were better, and 2nd passage epidermis was thicker than that in other passages (P<0.05).Dermoepidermal structure in collagen type Ⅳ group binded more tightly, but collagen type Ⅳ had little effect on the thickness of the epidermis (P>0.05).In collagen type Ⅳ group PAS stain was negative, indicating type Ⅳ collagen was unable to promote the reconstruction of BM in vitro. The Ki-67 proliferation index of the 2nd keratinocyte was similar to the normal skin, the remaining passages keratinocyte proliferation gradually decreased (P<0.05) ; the 1st and 2nd passage skins expressed CK1/CK10 and CK5/CK14.Conclusions Keratinocytes before the 3rd passage have a better ability in the proliferation and differentiation, and so they are more suitable as seed cells for tissue-engineered skin.

Purpose To investigate the relevance between the expression of miR-339-5p and the clinicopathological characteristics in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Methods The level of miR-339-5p expression was detected in 123 cases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma tissues and 20 cases of reactive lymphoid hyperplasia tissues by chromogenic in situ hybridization ( CISH) technique. The expression of Ki-67 and BCL-6 protein was examined in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma tissues by immunohistochemical technique (IHC) (EnVision two-steps), and the correlation between the expression of miR-339-5p and BCL-6 and the clinicopathological param-eters was also analyzed. Results The positive rates of miR-339-5p were 39. 8% (49/123) in DLBCL tissues, which was significantly lower than that in RH tissues (90%, 18/20). The positive rates of miR-339-5p were 31. 0% (22/71) for germinal center B-cell-like (ABC type) DLBCL, which was significantly lower than that in activated B-cell-like (GCB type) DLBCL (27/52, 51. 9%). The low-er expression of miR-339-5p in DLBCL was correlated with late Ann Arbor staging and high-risk group of international prognostic index (P<0. 05). The survival rates of miR-339-5p negative patients of ABC type and GCB type of DLBCL were significantly lower than that of the positive patients (P<0. 01). The levels of miR-339-5p expression in DLBCL were negatively correlated with the levels of BCL-6 expression in DLBCL (P<0. 01). Conclusion The low expression of miR-339-5p might be relatived with the progression and poor prognosis of DLBCL.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(5):721-726
Objective:
To investigate the prevalence of metabolic disorder among the high school students in Guangzhou.
Methods:
A cross-sectional study among 4 620 high school students selected with stratified cluster sampling was conducted in Guangzhou. Height, weight, blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and serum lipid of TC, TG were measured. Household socioeconomic status, medical history, physical activities as well as personal diet and study habits were acquired with structured questionnaire.
Results:
The prevalence of central obesity was 11.5%. The overall prevalence of IFG and DM was 6.9%. The overall prevalence of both hypercholesteremia and hypertriglyceridemia was 13.4%. The prevalence of hypertension was 11.6%. With multivariable logistic regression, the results showed that: fast eating was associated with increased risk of central obesity (OR=1.79, 95%CI=1.47-2.18) and hypercholesteremia/hypertriglyceridemia (OR=1.27,95%CI=1.04-1.54). While students who ate slow had low risk of central obesity (OR=0.47, 95%CI=0.33-0.68), hypercholesteremia/hypertriglyceridemia(OR=0.71, 95%CI=0.54-0.94) and hypertension (OR=0.65, 95%CI=0.49-0.88). Students with sugar-sweetened beverages once a day or more had higher risk of central obesity (OR=1.60, 95%CI=1.08-2.38) while students without sugar-sweetened beverages consumption had low risk of IFG/DM (OR=0.57, 95%CI= 0.43-0.77) than those who consumed 1-2 times/week. Students without eating out habit had lower risk of hypercholesteremia /hypertriglyceridemia than those with eating out for 1-2 times/week (OR=0.78, 95%CI=0.62-0.98), and students who had lunch out of home or canteen had higher risk of hypercholesteremia /hypertriglyceridemia than those who ate at canteen (OR=1.38,95%CI=1.06-1.81).
Conclusion
The prevalence of metabolic disorder among high school students in Guangzhou is at a relatively high level. High eating speed, heavy sugared beverages intake and frequently eating out habits are associated with risk of metabolic disorder.
