1.Echocardiographic study on anatomic changes of regional wall motion abnormality with coronary artery disease

ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of r egional wall motion abnormality(RWMA) on cardiac anatomic structure with coronary artery disease (CAD) and to recognize serious degree of the disease by echocardiography. MethodsA total of 125 cases was observed. There were 63 patients in CAD group (41 cases with general CAD,7 cases with acute myocardial infarction and 15 cases with old myocardial infarction). All the patients had undergone respectively CABG,PTCA and stent,coronary angiography or radionuclide scan for confirmation. There were 62 cases in normal control group. Using 2D echocardiography,stand short and long axis images of left ventricle(LV) were chosen. Displayed RWMA to compose the centripetal disharmonized motion with whole-wall of LV,and the discentripetal contradiction motion. M mode for continuous scan was to detect the typical characterisitic of RWMA. ResultsSingle-occurring RWMA from 43 cases ( 68.2 %) in 63 cases with CAD was displayed, while multiple-occurring RWMA from another 20 cases ( 31.8 %) was displayed(P
2.Development of improved enzymatic creatinine reagents

Objective To develop improved enzymatic creatinine(Cr)assay reagents (self-R&D),and to investigate their appli-cation on serum detection by comparing with imported commercial Cr reagents(enzymatic Cr reagents from Toyobo)Methods En-zymatic method was used to evaluate the effect of every component and different concentrations of reagents on Cr assay by detecting the alteration of absorbance of Cr before or after the reaction.Meanwhile,the blank absorbance and analysis sensitivity of self-R&D and imported reagents,the technical indicators of precision,linearity,as well as method comparison of self-R&D reagents,were de-tected on the same automatic biochemical analyzer.Results The blank absorbance of self-R&D reagents was 0.009,and the detec-tion sensitivity was 0.13,better than that of imported Cr reagents.The coefficient of variation (CV)of high and low values of ser-um of self-R&D reagents were 1.5%,and 1.1%,respectively.The linear range was 0-2 850 μmol/L and the method comparison result was Y =0.98X +1.15 (r =0.999).The expected bias was less than the allowable error region.Using relative deviation≥10% as an index to evaluate the existence of significant interference,it shows that 35 mmol/L of creatine,3.42 mmol/L of biliru-bin,0.03 g/L of vitamin C,5 g/L of hemoglobin and 1450 FTU chyle in both low and high concentration serum samples did not interfere with the test result.Conclusion The quality of self-R&D reagents was good,and there was a good relativity between self-R&D reagents and imported Cr reagents with excellent quality.This indicates the self-R&D reagents could satisfy the application requirements of the clinics.
3.Clinical Efficacy of Three Kinds of Topical Drug on Preventing Peripheral Chemotherapeutic Phlebitis Caused by Continuous Infusion of 5-fluorouracil

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Hiru doid,Sufu and Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment on preventing peripheral chemothera?peutic phlebitis due to continuous infusion of 5?fluorouracil. Methods Totally 90 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma treated with continuous infusion of 5?fluorouracil were recruited and randomly divided into Hirudoid group,Sufu group and Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment group, with 30 cases in each group. Three groups were applied with drugs respectively along the vein punctured while connecting the pump of 5?fluorouracil 3 times a day(each time interval of 6 hours)for 5 consecutive days. The occurrence of chemotherapy phlebitis was observed and recorded. Results Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment and Sufu were more effective than Hirudoid in reducing the incidence of phlebitis and relieving the degree of venous in?jury(P<0.05);however,there were no differences between Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment and Sufu(P>0.05). Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment was the most effective among the three in relieving the pain caused by phlebitis(P<0.05). There were no difference between Sufu and Hirudoid(P>0.05). Conclusion Musk Hemorrhoids Ointment can effectively prevent peripheral chemotherapeutic phlebitis caused by continuous infusion of 5?fluorouracil with affordable expense which is worthy of promotion in clinic use.
4.Risk analysis of the plague in regions with large scale engineering construction project in Guizhou Province in 2000-2011

Objective To investigate the status of the plague natural focus and assess the risk of plague in regions with large scale engineering construction project,in order to provide a basis for plague prevention and control.Methods The survey was carried out in 14 regions with large scale engineering construction project of 40 counties in Guizhou Province in 2000-2011,2-3 towns were selected in each county and 2-3 villages in each town,the plague hosts and flea vectors in the residential houses and outdoors were investigated,the sera of 5 animals were collected in each village.The capture rate of hosts and flea index were calculated.Then the samples were cultured and serological tested for plague.Results The density of rodents was 1.14%-3.87% in the reservoir region' residential building of hydro power station (Tianshengqiao,Pingban,Silin,Guangzhao,Sanbanxi,Dongqing,Qianzhong,Shatuo) and Xingyi airport,and Rattus flavipestus was the dominant species.The density of rodents was 0.00%-0.84% in the reservoir region of hydro power station (Hongjiadu,Yingzidu,Goupitan,Longtan) and Jinyang district; the total flea index in Yinzidu,Pingban,Longtan reservoir regions of hydro power stations were 3.16,2.00,1.06,3.47 and 1.99,respectively.A total of 21 rodent and flea samples from Tianshengqiao hydro power station were tested positive for F1 antigen of the plague.Three strains of Yersiniapestis were isolated.Nine rat filter paper blood samples and 7 sera of indicative animals were tested plague F1 antibody positive.Other regions with large scale engineering construction project were tested negative.Conclusions The reservoir region of Tianshengqiao hydro power station is endemic areas of the plague,where belong to high risk areas.The density of Rattus flavipestus is higher than the controlling standard of the country in the reservoir region of hydro power station (Pingban,Silin,Guangzhao,Sanbanxi,Dongqing,Qianzhong,Shatuo),where belong to potential risk areas.The plague prevention and monitoring should be continually strengthened to reduce the risk of plague.
5.Analysis of plague monitoring results and epidemic trend from 2000 to 2012 in Guizhou Province

Objective To master the prevalence of plague and its trend in Guizhou Province,and to analyze the plague monitoring results from 2000 to 2012.Methods The report of infectious disease,the information of plague natural focus and the epizootic monitoring data of Xingyi City,Anlong County and Dingxiao Distract of Guizhou Province from 2000 to 2012 were collected and the status of the plague natural focus was analyzed.Results There were 137 cases of gland plague in Xingyi City and Arlong county from 2000-2003,1 death,and mt plague occurred in 66 villages.Fifty-four strains of Yersiniapestis were detected and 49 rats were plague antigen F1 positive(49/160).No human plague occurred between 2004-2012.A total of 4 plague antigen F1 positive rats were detected in Dingxiao District and Xingyi City in 2005 and 2006.There was no Yersinia pestis and F1 antibody in 2007-2012.The epidemic stage of plague was from 2000-2003; the active stage was from 2004-2006; and the quiescent stage was from 2007-2012.The dominant species of the plague natural focus was Rattus flavipestus (42.83%,7 966/18 597),but was replaced by Rattus norvegicus at the epidemic stage (47.22%,1 480/3 134) and the active stage(35.35%,2 071/5 196).The density of rodents was 5.34% at the epidemic stage,which was higher than that of the active stage (3.27%) and the quiescent stage (1.71%,x2 =2 286.15,P < 0.01).Xenopsylla cheopis(56.34%,10 034/17 811) was the dominant species,and the index was 1.537 9,which was greater than those of the active stage(0.959 6) and the quiescent stage(0.540 4,x2 =492.68,P < 0.01).Conclusions The plague of Guizhou Province is at the quiescent stage.Both the density of rodents and the Xenopsylla cheopis index are lower than the national standard of controlling.
6.Expression of p53 in breast cancer and regulatory effects of 5-aza-2′-deoxycytidine on p53

Objective Tumor suppressor gene p53 can inhibit tumor cell growth, arrest cell cycle, and promote apoptosis.Howev-er, the effects of p53 on the pathogenesis of breast cancer have not been fully elucidated.The aim of this study was to explore the expression of p53 protein and the correlation with clinical pathologic features in breast cancer.Furthermore, the regulatory effects of 5-aza-2′-deoxycyti-dine on p53 in breast cancer cell line were also studied. Methods The expression of p53 protein in 80 cases of breast cancer and normal and adjacent tissue were determined by the immunohistochemical staining .The expressions of p53 mRNA and p53 protein in breast cancer cell line were determined by RT-PCR and Western blotting. Results The positive rate of p53 in breast cancer (41.25%) was higher than that in the normal and adjacent tissue (22.5%) (P<0.01).The expression of p53 was not significantly correlated with age, grade, stage and lymph node metastasis (P>0.05).The low expression of p53 both in mRNA and in protein levels were found in breast cancer cell line of MCF-7.The expres-sion of p53 increased after 5-aza-2′-deoxycytidine administration . Conclusion p53 is highly expressed in breast cancer , which may play an im-portant role in the development and progression of breast cancer. 5-aza-2′-deoxycytidine, up-regulating the p53 expression in breast cancer cell line, which provides the evidents for the development of therapeutic drugs for the patients with low expression of p53 breast cancer.
7.Clinical observation of auxiliary steel plate combined with autologous platelet rich plasma for the treatment of bone nonunion after intramedullary fixation of long bone fractures

【Objective】 To evaluate the clinical efficacy of utilizing auxiliary steel plates in conjunction with autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for the treatment of bone non-union following intramedullary fixation of long shaft fractures in the limbs. 【Methods】 From January 2020 to September 2022, 33 patients with non union after intramedullary fixation of long shaft fractures of the limbs admitted to the orthopedic trauma ward of the 960th Hospital of the PLA Jonit Logistics Support Force were selected as the research subjects, including 28 males and 5 females.The age range was 22 to 55 years, with an average of (37.2±6.7) years. The patients were divided into the experimental group (n=15) and the control group (n=18) in order of admission. All patients retained intramedullary fixation, and the fracture end was fixed with reconstruction steel plates. According to the random number table method, 15 cases in the experimental group were treated with autologous iliac bone transplantation combined with intraoperative and postoperative autologous PRP. The activated autologous PRP was fully fused with the patient′s autologous iliac bone during surgery and transplanted to the bone defect site.Ultrasound guidance was used to accurately locate the location. Autologous PRP was injected 10 mL/(person) occasion on the 14 th and 28 th day after surgery respectively. Eighteen cases in the control group received the treatment of autologous iliac bone transplantation at the bone defect site only. The clinical healing status of fractures between the two groups of patients were observed and compared. 【Results】 All 33 patients were followed up for a complete period of 9 to 30 months, with an average of (11.8±2.7) months. Compared with the control group, the clinical fracture healing time (months) was 5.25±1.18 vs 7.27±1.38 (P<0.05); The healing rate was 93.3%(14/15)vs 61.1%(11/18) (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 The combination of intraoperative and postoperative use of autologous PRP and auxiliary steel plates could promote the healing of bone non union after intramedullary fixation of long shaft fractures in the limbs, which is beneficial for early functional exercise of patients.
