1.Research progress in bone metabolism in the hypoxic environment
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(33):4963-4969
BACKGROUND:It has been reported that human aerobic endurance, cardiovascular system, blood constituent, immune system, neuroendocrine system, free radical antioxidant system, and acid-base balance system can be influenced under hypoxic conditions. However, very little is known regarding bone metabolism under hypoxic conditions and the underlying mechanisms. OBJECTIVE:To summarize the effects of hypoxic conditions on bone metabolism from the views of hypoxia inducible factors, osteblasts and osteoclasts, and the effects of exercise training under hypoxic conditions on the skeleton, contributing to understanding the theoretical advantages and disadvantages of altitude training. METHODS:A computer-based online search was conducted in CNKI and PubMed databases from January 2000 to September 2015 using the keywords“hypoxia environment, hypoxia inducible factors, bone metabolism, exercise, altitude training”to screen the relevant English and Chinese literatures. A total of 233 literatures were screened and final y 46 eligible literatures were included. RESLUTS AND CONCLUSION:The effects of hypoxic conditions on bone metabolism are complex, which are mainly linked to hypoxia inducible factors, osteblasts and osteoclasts. Hypoxia-inducible factor 1 is considered to influence the skeleton by promoting the bone growth induced by vascular endothelial growth factor and directly affecting the osteblasts and osteoclasts. Additional y, hypoxia-inducible factor 1 has been shown to enhance osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. The balance between osteoblast-mediated bone formation and osteoclast-mediated bone resorption is disturbed under hypoxic conditions. We need to pay attention to the training period and intensity at altitude because altitude training may not benefit the bone metabolism.

METHODS: Robust statistical Z-score method and iterative computation method were used to analyze the assay result of cefminox sodium powder for injection respectively, and the critical statistical parameters of the two methods were compared. RESULTS: The critical statistical parameters of robust statistical Z-score method anf iterative computation method were as follows: the robust average were 77.71% and 77.63%, the robust standard deviation were 0.66 and 0.67, and the coefficients of variation were 0.85% and 0.86%, respectively. CONCLUSION: It is very important to select the correct statistical approach to evaluate the proficiency of pharmaceutical testing laboratories. By comparing the steady average and the median value of Z-score, the range of best estimates for the true value can be found, and the judgment for the outliers can be more accurate.
5.Progress of study on placenta mesenchymal stem cells--review.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2005;13(3):514-517
Recently mesenchymal stem cells have been successfully obtained from various sources of human body, including bone marrow, compact bone, peripheral blood, adipose tissue, cord blood, amniotic fluid and other fetal tissues. Placenta, as a temporary organ keeping substance exchange between mother and fetus, consisted of decidua basalis and chorion frondosum, which derived from cytotrophoblast and extraembryonic mesoderm, thus involved both primary embryonic cells and adult stem cells. As a castoff after parturition, along with the ease of accessibility, lack of ethical concerns, placenta may be an attractive source of mesenchymal stem/progenitor cells for basic and clinical application. Therefore, the origin, isolation, characteristics and potential uses in future therapy are mainly reviewed in this paper.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2017;37(3):275-277
The "three eye-needling" technique is one of the important component of's three needling therapy, mainly used for the treatment of eye disorders such as optic atrophy, macular pigment degeneration, myopia, hyperopia, strabismus, amblyopia, diplopia, glaucoma, cataract, etc. In the paper,'s "three eye-needling" technique is explored, including the keys of manipulation, operation procedure and basic skills. This technique is particularly for "mind regulation", focusing on tranquilizing, observing and concentrating the mind. The precise selection of point is the basic requirement, the technique for fixing, pressing and pricking are the most important link. The needle insertion with one hand is adopted with gentle rotation manipulation. Mind regulation, point selection and specific operation are coordinated with each other to bring the function of "three eye-needling" technique into play and achieve better therapeutic effects.
