Objective To know the influence factors of untimely inoculation of measles vaccine among children of Enping, so as to provide scientific evidence for infectious diseases control. Method Cluster sampling was used and children from 2 towns of Enping were surveyed for their status of measles immunization and other information related to the immunization. Results The results indicated that the coverage rate of measles vaccine (MV) was 92.03%, and the untimely coverage rate was 36.20%. There were no statistical difference between local children and migrant children , urban children and rural children , as well as male children and female children. The results of multi-variate Logistic analysis suggested that the main factors that could decrease the untimely coverage rate of MV were inoculation appointment (OR = 0.415), vaccination health education (OR=0.385), guardians′ education (OR = 0.393) and guardians′ EPI knowledge (OR=0.472). The main factors that could increase the untimely coverage rate of MV were children′s suffering from diseases (OR=2.376) and egg allergy (OR=2.476). Conclusion Greater attention should be paid on measles immunization among children of Enping, which should be noticed and dealt with by proper authorities.

Objective To observe the impact of minimally invasive Sweet esophagectomy on short term quality of life for patients with Siewert typeⅡesophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma. Methods From January 2015 to September 2017, 60 patients underwent minimally invasive Sweet esophagectomy(MISE group) and 60 patients underwent open sweet esophagecto-my(OSE group). The questionnaires(EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ-OES18) were applied to assess the quality of life of the pa-tients before and 1,2,4,8 weeks after operation. The clinicopathologic factors, operational factors and postoperative complica-tions of the two groups were compared by t test and χ2test.The Mann-Whitney test was used to test for statistical significance because the responses were not normally distributed. Results The two groups were similar in terms of clinical characteristics and preoperative QOL scores(P >0.05).The MISE group was associated with a significant decrease in surgical blood loss [(88.1 ±32.2)ml vs.(119.5 ±34.1)ml, t=5.052, P=0.001], chest tube duration[(8.1 ±4.4)d vs.(10.5 ±4.0)d, t=3.110, P=0.002] and postoperative stay[(9.1 ±4.6)d vs.(11.6 ±3.8)d, t=3.167, P=0.002] relative to the OSE group. The postoperative in-hospital mortality and total morbidity did not differ between the two groups (P>0.05).The MISE group was associated with significantly fewer respiratory complications than the OSE group (8.5%vs.22.7%, t=4.063, P= 0.044).The MISE group was associated with a significant increase in hospitalization costs [(54 106 ±4 352) yuan vs. (51 143 ±5 315)yuan, P=0.001] relative to the OSE group.MISE group gained higher scores in physical function, role func-tion, emotional function, Global QOL and lower scores in pain, fatigue, acid reflux than OSE group after surgery. Conclusion Our minimally invasive technique for Siewert typeⅡesophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma can be safely and effectively performed with favorable early outcomes.Compared to conventional open Sweet approach, MISE impoved the short term quality of life after surgery.

Objective To discuss the width of ischiofemoral space (IFS) in asymptomatic adults and the related influence of physiological parameters (including age, sex, height, body weight, intertuberous distance, femoral offset, lesser trochanter height, etc). Methods Pelvic MSCT data of 61 adults without hip pain symptom were analyzed retrospectively. The indexes were measured, including the width of IFS,intertuberous distance, femoral offset, lesser trochanter height, femoral neck long axis, femoral neck angle and ischial angle. The correlation between the width of IFS and the physiological parameters was analyzed. Results The height, body weight, width of IFS,femoral offset, lesser trochanter height and femoral neck long axis of male subjects were larger than those of female subjects (all P<0.05),while the intertuberous distance and ischial angle of male subjects were smaller than those of female subjects (both P<0.001).There was positive correlation between the width of IFS and femoral neck long axis (P<0.001).Negative correlation was found between the width of IFS and the age, intertuberous distance, femoral neck angle, ischial angle, respectively (all P<0.001).No correlation between IFS and the height, body weight, femoral offset, lesser trochanter height was found (all P>0.05).Conclusion MSCT can be applied for measurement and evaluation of relative anatomy images of ischiofemoral impingement. The structure of pelvis is different between male and female, and this may be the reason of why female patients are more likely to suffer from ischiofemoral impingement.

BACKGROUND:MRI is important for the diagnosis of early knee osteoarthritis.MRI image recognition and intelligent segmentation of knee osteoarthritis using deep learning method is a hot topic in image diagnosis of artificial intelligence. OBJECTIVE:Through deep learning of MRI images of knee osteoarthritis, the segmentation of femur, tibia, patella, cartilage, meniscus, ligaments, muscles and effusion of knee can be automatically divided, and then volume of knee fluid and muscle content were measured. METHODS:100 normal knee joints and 100 knee osteoarthritis patients were selected and randomly divided into training dataset(n=160),validation dataset(n=20),and test dataset(n=20)according to the ratio of 8:1:1.The Coarse-to-Fine sequential training method was used to train the 3D-UNET network deep learning model.A Coarse MRI segmentation model of the knee sagittal plane was trained first, and the rough segmentation results were used as a mask, and then the fine segmentation model was trained. The T1WI and T2WI images of the sagittal surface of the knee joint and the marking files of each structure were input, and DeepLab v3 was used to segment bone, cartilage, ligament, meniscus, muscle, and effusion of knee, and 3D reconstruction was finally displayed and automatic measurement results(muscle content and volume of knee fluid)were displayed to complete the deep learning application program. The MRI data of 26 normal subjects and 38 patients with knee osteoarthritis were screened for validation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)The 26 normal subjects were selected, including 13 females and 13 males, with a mean age of(34.88±11.75)years old.The mean muscle content of the knee joint was(1 051 322.94±2 007 249.00)mL,the mean median was 631 165.21 mL,and the mean volume of effusion was(291.85±559.59)mL.The mean median was 0 mL.(2)There were 38 patients with knee osteoarthritis, including 30 females and 8 males. The mean age was(68.53±9.87)years old.The mean muscle content was(782 409.18±331 392.56)mL,the mean median was 689 105.66 mL,and the mean volume of effusion was(1 625.23±5 014.03)mL.The mean median was 178.72 mL.(3)There was no significant difference in muscle content between normal people and knee osteoarthritis patients. The volume of effusion in patients with knee osteoarthritis was higher than that in normal subjects, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).(4)It is indicated that the intelligent segmentation of MRI images by deep learning can discard the defects of manual segmentation in the past. The more accuracy evaluation of knee osteoarthritis was necessary, and the image segmentation was processed more precisely in the future to improve the accuracy of the results.

The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and its variants are still globally spreading. Vaccines can reduce the mortality, but cannot eliminate the risk of infection. The identification and protection of the high-risk susceptible population remains of great importance for the prevention and control of SARS-CoV2 and other coronavirus infections. Smoking is an important risk factor for many respiratory diseases, and therefore may also influence the risk of SARS-CoV2 infection and the disease progression after infection. This study reviewed the epidemiological and mechanistic evidence supporting the relationship between tobacco exposure and SARS-CoV2 infection, summarized the contributing effects of tobacco exposure to the infection risk, disease severity, and mortality of COVID-19, and analyzed the molecular mechanisms by which cigarette smoking affects COVID-19 through regulating inflammatory microenvironment and gene expression.
