Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE To give a general introduction to the infection in the hospital, and supervision to key departments in order to prevent nosocomial infection occurrence. METHODS A vertical analysis was made on the basis of the survey involving the following three periods: the first period covered the second half of the year 2000(from Jul to Dec 2000),the second period covered the second half of the year 2002(from Jul to Dec 2002),and the third period covered the second half of the year 2004(from Jul to Dec 2004). RESULTS The periodical supervision and the vertical analysis in the same period showed the following: the rates of the infected patients in the departments showing a tend to go on rising from 2000 to 2002,and showing a tend to decline from 2002 to 2004. CONCLUSIONS The control of using antibiotics must be emphasized and they should be applied in a scientific and reasonable way.The key points include the management of purchasing drugs, clinical indications and usages, supervise and news feedback, etc. All of these measures could prevent the occurrence of nosocomial infection effectively.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(04):-
Nutrition studies of saturation/excursion dives were made in a hyper-baric chamber. Seven divers were investigated during a period of 26-day N2-O2 saturation dive to 36.5m with excursion to 60-75m using only air. Daily intake of food was surveyed by regular weighing method. The caloric and nutrient intakes were calculated from Chinese food composition tables. Urine samples were collected for estimation of vitamin B1, B2, 4-pyridoxic acid, ascorbic acid and also nitrogen. During the dive they lost the appe- tite for meat and oil, instead they preferred vegetables, fruits and beverages. Thus energy, protein and lipid decreased and a weight loss was observed. The urinary excretion of certain vitamins was reduced, especially marked with thiamine. Accordingly a suggestion on the allowance of certain nutrients was proposed.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2015;17(7):978-980
Objective To investigate the efficacy of the first radioiodine (131 I) ablation of residual thyroid on differentiated thyroid carcinomas after surgery and to analyze the influential factors for efficacy. Methods All 91 differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) patients were treated with 131I after surgery.According to pathologic types of the tumor, surgical options, and time interval between surgery and radioiodine treatment, patients were divided into different groups, then the efficacy was observed. Results Fifty of 91 patients (54.9%) achieved successful thyroid remnant ablation after the first dose. The success rate of first ablation of residual thyroid tissues had no relationship with the pathologic type of the tumor(P > 0.05).While it was statistically related to the surgical options, among which patients undertaking the total thyroidectomy possessed the highest success rate (79.3%)(P <0.05).Ninety one patients were divided into 3 groups according to the time interval between surgery and radioiodine ablation:group less than 3 months (3M group),group from 3 to 12 months (3 ~ 12 M group),group beyond 12 months (12M).Among them, the 3M group possessed the highest success rate (68.0%) (P <0.05).Conclusions There would be better effect of the first ablation of residual thyroid tissues with total thyroidectomy, ablation conducted within 3 months after surgery.

OBJECTlVE To study the effect of ganoderma poIysaccharide( GLP)on zebrafish ( Danio rerio)survivaI,deveIopment and senescence. METHODS A p53-knockout zebrafish modeI was estabIished by injecting of morphoIino phosphorodiamidate(mO)into normaI zebrafish eggs in the singIe ceII deveIopment stage. Different concentrations of GLP 1,2 and 3 g·L-1 were used to treat both wiId type and p53-knockout zebrafish embryos 8 h post fertiIization(8 hpf)under 28℃ for 3 d. The survivaI and maIformation rates were caIcuIated after 72 hpf,and the effect of GLP on ceII senescence was evaI-uated by senescence associated β-gaIactosidase(SA-β-gaI)staining both in wiId type and p53-knockout zebrafish embryos. In addition, the differentiaI gene expression of cancer inhibitor gene(p53),teIomer-ase reverse transcriptase( TERT),murine doubIe minute2( mdm2)and p21 was examined by RT-PCR both in wiId type and p53-knockout zebrafish embryos after treatment with different concentrations of GLP. RESULTS GLP 1 and 2 g·L-1 had no effect on deveIopment of wiId type zebrafish embryos, but after GLP 3 g·L-1 treatment, most of zebrafish embryos dispIayed maIformation and the survivaI rate was onIy 48.6%. GLP 1,2 and 3 g·L-1 had no effect on survivaI and deveIopment of p53-knockout zebrafish embryos. After GLP 2 g·L-1 treatment for 3 d,the SA-β-gaI staining positive rate of wiId type zebrafish embryos was reduced compared with controI group(P﹤0.01),whiIe there was no significant change in p53-knockout zebrafish embryos. The resuIts of RT-PCR showed that GLP 2 g·L-1 treatment depressed p21 and p53 gene expression(P﹤0.05,P﹤0.01),and had no effect on mdm2 and TERTgene expres-sion of wiId type zebrafish embryos. For p53-knockout zebrafish embryos, the TERT,mdm2,p21 and p53 gene expression dispIayed no significant difference after GLP 2 g·L-1 treatment. CONCLUSlON GLP 2 g·L-1 may improve senescence of wiId type zebrafish embryo ceIIs. GLP ≥3 g·L-1 may Iead to death and abnormaI deveIopment of wiId type zebrafish embryos. The improvement of GLP on senescence of wiId type zebrafish embryo ceIIs might be mediated by its down-reguIation of p21 and p53 gene expression.

China Pharmacy 2015;(24):3445-3446,3447
OBJECTIVE:To improve the teaching quality of pharmaceutical standard training. METHODS: By introducing the overview of adopting elicitation teaching in the pharmaceutical standard training in Beijing, the training effect was summarized and role and significance were studied. RESULTS:Supervisors applied five teaching modules in the elicitation teaching in the pharmaceu-tical standard training which are concluded“pharmaceutical education and rational use of medicine”“comments of prescription and rational use of medicine”“prescription transfers and rational use of medicine”“medicine counseling and rational use of medicine”“pharmaceutically communication and rational use of drugs medicine”,the result showed that participants had mastered more than 90%of what they had learned;with 92.5%of participants felt elicitation teaching could help improve students’interests in pharma-cy,and strengthen responsibility;80.0% of the participants believed that part of the modules strengthen the training of clinical think-ing;the training of satisfaction to 100%. CONCLUSIONS: The elicitation teaching mode can not only improve the teaching quality in pharmaceutical standard training, but also strengthen communication and feedback between teachers and students, students and students to make students more deeply understand and master knowledge and improve teaching quality.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
Body composition by body voluraetry (water displacement), height, body weight, 5 skinfolds thickness and circumference of 6 body parts were measured in 101 Chinese men. A stepwise regression analysis of these data gave the following regression equations.Body density = 1.11197 - 0.00228S1 - 0.00046S2 - 0.00039S3-Fat(%)= 0.91137S1 + 0.17871S2 + 0.15381S3 - 3.60146S1. S2 and S3 represent the skinfolds thickness of tricepital, subscapular, and suprailiac respectively.Lean body weight = Body weight. (1-Fat%)
