Skin can maintain homeostasis and prevent from microorganisms, the loss of skin barrier may be related to many local or general infections after trauma. Biological dressing can seal trauma wound as soon as possible, reduce the risk of infections resulted from pathogenic bacteria on trauma wound, and increase the survival rate of severe patients. Biological dressing is a hot topic in the application researches about the healing of skin trauma wound. An ideal biological dressing is satisfactory in histocompatibility, permeability, gas permeation, and mechanical function. It can control and absorb the effusion on trauma wound, prohibit bacterial invasion and induce bacteriostasis, protect new tissues and facilitate trauma healing, so as to provide a micro-wet, micro acid and hypoxic environment for the trauma. At present, the biological dressings for the skin trauma mainly include pigskin, amnion, collagen, chitosan, alginic acid, aquogel and nano-dressing, etc.

Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of aldosterone producing adenoma of the adrenal gland. Methods From January 1988 to January 2000,69 cases of aldosterone producing adenoma of the adrenal gland were diagnosed and treated.The diagnosis was all confirmed on open surgery and pathological studies. Results In all the patients,serum potassium level resumed to normal range in a week postoperatively.48 patients have been followed up for 3 months to 10 years,in 45 of them the blood pressure dropped to normal.In the other 3, drugs are still needed to control blood pressure after operation. Conclusions Spironolactonum test and serum aldosterone assay were the main methods of qualitative diagnosis of aldosterone producing adenoma.The location of the growth was mainly assessed on B ultrasono graphy and CT, the diagnostic accuracy being 81.2 percent and 100 percent respectively.Operation was the effective treatment method for aldosterone producing adenoma.

Objective To study the structure and the use of the information sharing platform for long-distance medical information network in integrating long -distance medical information network, HIS, PACS system and other resources, thereby enhancing the quality of long -distance medical consultation. Methods The study was conducted by integrating hospital internal data resources, structuring information platform and standardizing consultation process. Results The information sharing platform was achieved based on long-distance medical information network, thus achieving the greatest degree of information sharing and raising the level of long-distance medical consultation.

Objective To evaluate the rules and features of the pseudoenhancement phenomenon of renal cysts during the multi-phases of contrast enhanced MSCT scan.Methods Ninety one patients with 112 simple renal cysts with B-ultrasound,CT examination,improved clinically enrolled in this retrospective study.The attenuation of the renal cysts were measured blindly in the images of CT plain scan and scans of arterial,venal and secrete phases,and the attenuation change of the cysts between pre-and post-enhanced scans were calculated; the accuracies of pseudoenhancement judging were calculated with 10 HU,15 HU and 18 HU as a threshold;the size were recorded; degree of intra renal parenchyma of the cyst were also confirmed,and so renal cysts were divided into three groups:type Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ; The differences of attenuation among 3 enhancement phases,different size,different type were analyzed statistically with the Kruskal-wallis rank sum test,the correlation between the diameter and the pseudoenhancement in each enhancement phases were analyzed statistically with Spearman test.Results The attenuation median of the 112 cysts in plain scan,arterial,venal and secrete phase was 6.0 HU,11.0 HU,12.0 HU and 12.0 HU respectively,there was significant difference(x2=53.32,P＜0.01).The attenuation of the cysts in enhanced phases was higher than unenhanced.The range of attenuation change of the cysts between pre-and postenhanced scans was-10 to 31 HU,the number of cysts in groups of pseudoenhancement of 1 to 5 HU and 6 to 10 HU in each enhanced phase was dominant.The pseudoenhancement median of arterial,venal and secrete phase was 4.0 HU,5.0 HU and 6.0 HU respectively,There was significant difference among three groups(x2=10.062,P＜0.01).Taking 10 HU,15 HU and 18 HU as threshold for judging pseudoenhancement,the accuracy was 83.0％(239/288),95.1％(274/288) and 96.9％(279/288) respectively; Pseudoenhancement of small cysts(≤10 mm) was higher than other groups in each enhancement phase,and there was significant difference(P＜0.05).Type Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ renal cysts were 62,23 and 27 respectively,the pseudoenhancement median of type Ⅰ renal cyst was 5.0 HU,6.0 HU and 8.0 HU respectively in arterial,venous,and excretion phase,which were higher than Type Ⅱ and Ⅲ (P＜0.05).It showed low negative correlation between pseudoenhancemen and diameter in arterial,venous and secrete phase(r =-0.326,-0.332 and-0.447,P＜ 0.01).Conclusion The pseudoenhancement correlated with the renal cyst size,the type and the enhance phases,which should be considered when making diagnosis.

Objective:To investigate the expressions of Mfn2(mitofusin 2) in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tissues and non-cancerous lung tissues,and analyze its relationship with clinicopathological characteristics of lung carcinomas.Methods:The expressions of Mfn2 mRNA and protein in 92 cases of NSCLC tissues and 27 cases of non-cancerous lung tissues were detected by in situ hybridization and immunohistochemical methods. Results:The positive rates of Mfn2 mRNA and protein in pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma were higher than those in adenocarcinoma (83.33% and 89.58% vs 56.82% and 65.91%), respectively. The positive rates of Mfn2 mRNA and protein in NSCLC were higher than those in the non-cancerous lung tissues (25.93% and 29.63%) . The difference was statistically significant among the three groups (P<0.001 and P<0.01). The expressions of Mfn2 mRNA and protein in well-differentiated (93.75% and 100%) and moderately-differentiated NSCLC (91.67% and 91.67%) were higher than those in poor-diffe-rentiated NSCLC (21.43% and 42.86%). The difference was significant (P<0.001). The expressions of Mfn2 mRNA and protein had no correlation with the gender, age, tumor size, TNM stage and lymph node metastasis (P>0.05). The expression of Mfn2 mRNA was consistent with that of Mfn2 protein in NSCLC.Conclusion:Mfn2 was involved in the initiation and progression of lung cancer, and the expression of Mfn2 was related to the histological types of lung cancer and its differentiation degree.

Objective To study the effect of epinephrine on biofilm formation of the qseC-deleted mutant of Escherichia coli on biomaterial.Methods The strains used in this study are Escherichia coli MC1000 and MC1000AqseC.LB was used for all the experiments.To determine the effect of epinephrine on motility,halos were measured in LB medium at 37℃ in the presence of epinephrine(50 μmol/L).LB with epinephrine and without epinephrine were used,and then the experiment of bacterial biofilm formation on PVC material was taken.The relative amount of biofilm was estimated.The thickness of bacterial community and bacterial community quantity in the unit area on PVC materials were measured by confocal laser scanning microscope( CLSM),and the surface structure of biofilm formation was observed by scanning electron microscope(SEM).Results The mutant strain formed less biofilm than the wild-type strain in LB.The increment in motility of wild-type strain due to epinephrine addition was shown,but mutant strain is unaffected.Similarly,biofilm formation of the wild-type strain was increased by epinephrine,but epinephrine did not affect the biofilm formation of the qseC mutant.The CLSM and SEM showed that epinephrine stimulated biofilm formation of wild-type strain on PVC materials,but had no effect on qseC-deleted mutant strain.Conclusion Epinephrine increases Escherichia coli biofilms on biomaterials through qseC.

Objective To investigate the role of quorum sensing Escherichia coli regulator C (qseC) in intestinal bacterial translocation in rats subjected to hemorrhagic shock.Methods Thirty Sprague-Dawley rats,weighing 250-300 g,were randomly divided into 5 groups (n =6 each):control group (group C),MC1000-sham shock group (group M-SS),MC1000qseC-sham shock group (group △-SS),MC1000-hemorrhagic shock group (group M-HS),and MC1000△ qseC-hemorrhagic shock group (group △-HS).The rats drank 150 μg/ml of disinfect water containing streptomycin in 3 consecutive days to inhibit the autochthonous flora in the intestinal tract.From 4th day,the rats were fed with Escherichia Coli MC1000 or MC1000△ qseC 1 ml/100 g by gastric perfusion once a day for another 3 consecutive days in the other 4 groups,while the rats were fed with normal saline instead in group C.Hemorrhagic shock was induced by blood-letting.The mesenteric lymph node (MLN),spleen and liver specimens were obtained at 24 h after operation for bacterial culture and the bacteria were identified.Bacterial translocation from gut to MLN,spleen and liver was observed and the number of bacteria in MLN,spleen and liver tissues were counted.Results The rate of bacterial translocation was significantly higher,and the number of bacterial colonies in MLN,spleen and liver tissues and the total number of bacterial colonies were significantly larger in groups M-HS and △-HS than in group C,and in group M-HS than in groups M-SS and △-SS (P ＜ 0.05).The rate of bacterial translocation was significantly lower,and the number of bacterial colonies in MLN,spleen and liver tissues and the total number of bacterial colonies were significantly smaller in group △-HS than in group MHS.Conclusion QseC is involved in the intestinal bacterial translocation following hemorrhagic shock in rats.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between quartz's deposit and expression of NF-κB in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) lung tissues in Xuanwei, Yunnan Province, and to clarify the role of quartz in Xuanwei NSCLC's carcinogenic mechanism. Methods As research objects, the lung tissues of NSCLC and lung benign lesions after surgical resection were collected from July 2009 to September 2015 at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University. Firstly, the transmission electron microscopic (TEM) with energy dispersive X-ray analyzer (EDS) was used for observation of crystalline deposit and local pathological changes. Secondly, expression level of NF-κB had been analysed and a correlation analysis with particle size of SiO2 crystal in the same lung sample was made. Results The occurrence rates of quartz in Xuanwei NSCLC lung tissues were above non-Xuanwei NSCLC and benign lung tissues (P<0.01);the average particle size of SiO2 crystal was (226 ± 120) nm × (237 ± 163) nm in Xuanwei NSCLC group and it was smaller than the other two groups; In Xuanwei NSCLC group, the expression level of NF-κB was significantly higher than non-Xuanwei and benign lung tissues (P< 0.01), but there was no significant difference between cancer tissues and normal lung tissues in the group (P>0.05). The expression level of NF-κB was generally increasing when quartz 's size became smaller. Conclusion Quartz 's deposit may play a certain role in carcinogenic mechanism of lung cancer in Xuanwei, the smaller the particle size, the greater the cytotoxicity.

Lidamycin (LDM) is a potent antitumor antibiotic. Previous studies have shown that LDM could inhibit proliferation and migration in endothelial cells. In the present report, the effect of LDM on angiogenesis of zebrafish embryo was studied. The results showed that treatment of zebrafish embryos with LDM resulted in significant inhibition of angiogenesis. Morphological observation, quantitative endogenous alkaline phosphatase (EAP) assay, alkaline phosphatase staining, and transgenic zebrafish assay were performed to evaluate vascular development defects in zebrafish. The results indicated that after the zebrafish embryos were exposed to LDM, angiogenesis defects of zebrafish embryos were observed, including pericardial edema, reduced numbers of circulating red blood cells, suppression of zebrafish vessel growth, and absences of SIV (subintestinal vein). The expression of VEGF was detected by RT-PCR assay, quantitative reverse transcriptase real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) assay and Western blotting analysis. The results revealed that LDM could inhibit the expression of VEGF protein, while the expression of mRNA was not significantly affected. The study suggests that LDM could inhibit the zebrafish embryo angiogenesis by down-regulation ofVEGF expression.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of low-dose and standard-dose intravenous alteplase for acute ischemic stroke. Methods The patients with acute ischemic stroke treated with intravenous alteplase from August 2012 to January 2016 were analyzed retrospectively. According to the dosage of the drug, the patients were divided into either a low-dose group (0. 6-0. 8 mg/kg) or a standard-dose group (0. 9 mg/kg). The efficacy was evaluated with the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) at 90 days, and a favorable functional outcome was defined as mRS 0-1. The safety was evaluated by the mortality at 90 days and the incidence of symptomatic intracerebral hemorrhage (SICH) within 7 d after onset. Results A total of 790 patients were enrolled, including 612 in the low-dose group and 178 in the standard-dose group. There was no significant difference in each baseline clinical data between the 2 groups. Compared with the standard-dose group, there was no significant difference in the good outcome rate of the small-dose group at day 90 (35. 6% vs. 37. 6% ; χ2 = 0. 872, P = 0. 35) and mortality (5. 1% vs. 6. 2% ;χ2 = 2. 173, P = 0. 14), but the incidence of SICH was significantly lower (1. 8% vs. 5. 1% ; χ2 = 5. 875, P =0. 015). Conclusion The efficacy of low-dose intravenous alteplase for acute ischemic stroke is equivalent to the standard-dose and the safety is better.
