OBJECTIVE:To establish a HPLC method for the determination of aristolochic acidⅠand aristolochic acid Ⅱin human serum.METHODS:The separation was performed on C 18 column(250mm?4.6mm,5?m).The mobile phase consisted of methanol-water-acetic(72∶27∶1)at a flow rate of1.0ml/min.The detection wavelength was250nm.RESULTS:The linear ranges for aristolochic acidⅠand aristolochic acid Ⅱ were0.84～13.50?g/ml(r=0.9997,n=5)and2.03～32.50?g/ml(r=0.9994,n=5),respectively.The lowest determination concentration of aristolochic acid Ⅰ and aristolochic acid Ⅱ were0.3?g/ml and0.1?g/ml,respectively.CONCLUSION:The method is simple and practicable,and it can provide basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of aristolochic acid nephropathy.

Loss of epithelial characteristics and acquisition of a mesenchymal phenotype are the main features of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). EMT plays an important role in tumor invasion and metastasis through increasing cell migration, invasion and anti-apoptotic capacity. Several mechanisms involved in EMT regulate invasion and metastasis of pancreatic cancer,including cadherin switch, growth factors, transcription factors, microRNA and signaling pathways.

Objective T o explore the num ber of necrophagous flies and seasonal distribution of com m on necrophagous flies at present in B eijing. Methods T he specim ens of necrophagous flies w ere collected by the m ethods of anim al carcass, trapping and feeding. A nd the specim ens w ere observed and counted after the classification and preservation. Results T he necrophagous flies in B eijing belonged to 4 fam i-lies, 9 subfam ilies, 21 genera and 46 species, and 12 species of them w ere the first records in B eijing. T he necrophagous flies had the characteristics of regional and seasonal distribution. Conclusion T he data of seasonal distribution of necrophagous flies and com m on necrophagous flies in B eijing can provide refer-ence for related research.

To investigate the level of serum IL-10 in allergic rhinitis patients and the correlation between IL-10 and serum total IgE (TIgE). 50 allergic rhinitis patients and 30 normal subjects were involved in the study. The levels of serum IL-10 and TIgE were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the correlation between serum IL-10 and TIgE was analyzed. In the allergic rhinitis group, the levels of serum IL-10 and TIgE were 8.34 +/- 2.48 pg/mL and 142.6 +/- 28.2 KU(A)/L. In the normal control group, they were 12.86 +/- 2.88 pg/mL and 47.2 +/- 12.2 KU(A). There were significant differences between the two groups (P < 0.01); and the level of serum TIgE in the patients was negatively correlated with that of IL-10 (r = -0.46, P = 0.02). The level of serum IL-10 was significantly decreased in allergic rhinitis patients, which was beneficial to the synthesization of IgE. IL-10 plays an important role in the episode of allergic rhinitis.

Objective To assess the efficacy of emergency hand-assisted laparoscopic hepatectomy for spontaneous rupture of primary hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods A total of 15 eases who underwent emergency hand-assisted laparoscopic hepatectomy for spontaneous rupture of primary hepatocellular carcinoma were retrospectively reviewed.Results All operations were successful.The postoperative mortality rate was.Thirteen cases were followed-up from 11 months to 56 months.The overall 1-,3-year survival rate was 84.6%(11/13),53.8%(7/13)respectively.Conclusion Emergency hand-assisted laparoscopic hepatectomy is a safe and feasible approach for pontaneous rupture of primary hepatocellular carcinoma in clinically selected patients.If the patients condition permits it,emergency hand-assisted laparoscopic hepatectomy should be the treatment of choice.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for quick content determination of clobetasol propionate in temeifu pigmentum.METHODS:UV spectrophotometry was used,and the determination was performed at the wavelength of 240nm.RES-ULTS:The detectable concentration of clobetasol propionate have a good linear relationship with its absorbability in the range of 12～18?g/ml.The inter-day and intra-day average recoveries were 99.87%(RSD=1.21%) and 99.79%(RSD=1.01%),respectively.CONCLUSIONS:The present method is rapid and accurate,which can be widely used in small hospitals not equipped with high performance liquid chromatography.

Objective To explore the indication,surgical procedure and the postoperative treatment of breast conserving modified radical mastectomy for early stage breast cancer .Methods The clinical data of 21 patients with early stage breast cancer underwent breast conserving modified radical mastectomy were analyzed retrospectively. Results All patient recovered uneventfully. All the external configuration of the breast were fine. There were no recurrence and no complications in this series. Conclusions The breast conserving modified radical mastectomy is recommended for the early stage breast cancer. The external configuration of breast is fine postoperatively, and patients have higher survival quality.But follow up is necessary in order to find and treat the recurrence of breast cancer.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of bend-assisted laparoseopie fight bemicolectomy for right colon carcinoma in elderly obesity patients. Methods 20 obesity eases undergoing hand-assisted laparoscopic right bemicolectomy were retrospectively reviewed, and compared with 25 obesity cases with transabdominal right hemicolectomy in the same period. The safety, recovery, eradication and stress reaction were compared. Results In hand-assisted laparoscopic group, there were less bleeding loss, rapid recovery to normal temperature and gastrointestinal function,ont of bed activity, short-time hospitalization compared with transabdominal group(P <0.01). There were no differences in operative time, numbers of lymph nodes removed, postoperative complications and length of specimen between two gronps(P > 0.05). CRP, IL-6, adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) and cortisol were more significantly increased in two groups after operation than before operation (P < 0. 05) , and this increase was moreprominent in transabdominal group than in hand-assisted laparoacopic group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Hand-assis-ted laparoscopic right hemicolectomy is a safe and effective way for elderly obesity patients,especially in postoperative recovery and physical stress reaction.
