In artificial immune optimization algorithm, the mutation of immune cells has been considered as the key operator that determines the algorithm performance. Traditional immune optimization algorithms have used a single mutation operator, typically a Gaussian. Using a variety of mutation operators that can be combined during evolution to generate different probability density function could hold the potential for producing better solutions with less computational effort. In view of this, a linear combination mutation operator of Gaussian and Cauchy mutation is presented in this paper, and a novel clonal selection optimization method based on clonal selection principle is proposed also. The simulation results show the combining mutation strategy can obtain the same performance as the best of pure strategies or even better in some cases.

Objective To study corrective method for displacement in the procedure of electronic portal imaging device (EPID)-based intensity-modulated radiotherapy dose valuation by studying the relative mechanical displacement of different vendor EPID (aS1000,Varian; aS500,Varian; iViewGT,Elekta). Methods A 5 cm × 5 cm field was set up to acquire portal images for three kinds of EPID,then a in house software was used to analysis the portal images. The relative displacement was acquired via analyzing a series of comparation between center positions of gantry angle ranging from 0° to 360° and gantry angle at 0°.Results In the lateral direction, the maximum relative displacement of EPID with aS1000,S500 and iViewGT were (-0.23 ±0.17) mm,(2.94±0.17) mm and (0.35 ±0.09) mm,respectively. In the longitude direction, the displacements were (-4.16 ± 0.20) mm,(-4.15 ± 0.25) mm and (-1.66 ±0.11) mm,respectively. As to longitude direction, the displacements could be well fitted with the usage of quadruplicate empiric function. Conclusions There is a significant difference at the aspect of relative displacement between different vendors EPID at different gantry angles. And the displacement in the longitude direction is obviously larger than in the lateral direction. The relative displacement should be corrected when applying EPID to the intensity-modulated radiotherapy dose verification at different gantry angles.

In this study ,we detected the positive rate of anti‐HBs and anti‐HBc antibody among the subject population in Fujian Medical University Union Hospital ,and to evaluate different detection methods of anti‐HBc antibody .The positive rate of anti‐HBs and anti‐HBc antibody were detected by chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay (CMIA) and one‐step com‐petitive enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from the year 2012 to 2013 .The subject population was divided into three groups :group 1 with the age of less than 2 years old ,group 2 with the age of 2‐20 years old ,and group 3 with the age of more than 20 years old .The positive rates of anti‐HBV antibody in the different groups were analyzed .Furthermore ,anti‐HBc antibody of 92 samples selected from the immunized population was detected by CMIA and three kinds of ELISA reagents . Meanwhile ,the detection of anti‐HBc antibody by the same ELISA reagent but different operating modes were performed in these samples .The highest positive rate of anti‐HBs antibody was detected in group 1 ,and there was no significance difference of positive rate between two detection methods of anti‐HBs antibody among three groups .The positive rate of anti‐HBc anti‐body using CMIA was significantly lower than those with ELISA among group 1 and 2 .Among the 92 samples ,the positive rate of anti‐HBc antibody was 2 .2% using CMIA .With three kinds of method of ELISA reagent ,the positive rate of anti‐HBc antibody were 79 .3% ,82 .6% and 94 .6% ,respectively ,and there was no statistical significance among the results of three ELISA reagents .Anti‐HBc was not detected from 19 samples using ELISA methods with different operating modes .It's con‐cluded that the anti‐HBs antibody declined with the increase of age ,and it is necessary to discriminate the specific population to strengthen immune system .The obviously higher positive rate of anti‐HBc antibody was found by ELISA in immunized popula‐tion than that by CM IA . Concerning on the false positive of ELISA , specimen sampling with one specific test item or the CMIA method was recommended to detect the anti‐HBc antibody .

Objective To investigate the impact and the associated parameters of malnutrition and inflammation status on hospitalization and mortality of maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients. Method A total of 118 MHD patients were included in the study with 1 year's follow-up.The malnutrition and inflammation parameters were compared between the hospitalized patients and out-patients.Cox's proportional hazard regression model was used to explore the malnutrition and inflammation parameters which could forecast the risk of hospitalization and mortality. Result The hospitalization rate of MHD patients with mild, moderate and severe malnuttition was 32.93%,56.67% and 83.33% respectively, and the mortality was 3.66%,6.67% and 80.00% respectively. The hospitalization rate of MHD patients with or without microinflammation status was 56.45% and 46.43%,and the mortality was 14.29% and 1.61%.Inpatients had a higher malnutrition-inflammation score(MIS,8.36 vs 5.86,P<0.05) and subjective global assessment of nutrition (MQSGA,14.49 vs 12.88,P<0.05),a lower creatinine level (886.83 μmol/L vs 991.76 μmol/L,P<0.05 ) and a lower albumin level (38.57 g/L vs 40.27 g/L,P<0.05) than out-patients.Inpatients also had a higher level of TNF-α (65.41 μg/L vs 59.76 μg/L,P<0.05) than out-patients.Cox proportional hazard model analysis showed that MIS and TNF-α were associated with patient's first hospitalization risk. Conclusions For the MHD patients, the more severe the malnutrition and micro-inflammation status is,the worse the clinical outcome is.The higher levels of MIS and TNF-α result in greater risk of hospitalization.

Duck circovirus(DuCV),a potential immunosuppressive virus, was investigated in Southern China from March 2006 to December 2009 by using a polymerase chain reaction(PCR)based method. In this study,a total of 138 sick or dead duck samples from 18 different farms were examined with an average DuCV infection rate of~35%. It was found that ducks between the ages of 40~60 days were more susceptible to DuCV. There was no evidence showing that the DuCV virus was capable of vertical transmission. Farms with positive PCR results exhibited no regularly apparent clinical abnormalities such as feathering disorders, growth retardation or lower-than-average weight. The complete genomes of 9. strains from Fujian Province and 1 from Zhejiang Province were sequenced and analyzed. The 10 DuCV genomes, compared with others genomes downloaded from GenBank, ranged in size from 1988 to 1996 base pairs, with sequence identities ranging from 83.2% to 99.8%. Phylogenetic analysis based on genome sequences demonstrated that DuCVs can be divided into two distinct genetic genotypes,Group I(the Euro-USA lineage)and Group II(the Taiwan lineage),with approximately 10.0% genetic difference between the two types. Molecular epidemiological data suggest there is no obvious difference among DuCV strains isolated from different geographic locations or different species, including Duck,Muscovy duck,Mule duck,Cheery duck,Mulard duck and Pekin duck.

BACKGROUND: With deepening of spinal biomechanics, artificial lumbar disc replacement is considered to be the optimal choice for treating degenerative lumbar disease. However, studies concerning biomechanics of artificial lumbar disc are insufficient. OBJECTIVE: To establish the three-dimensional (3-D) finite element model of artificial lumbar disc replacement and to explore the effects of artificial lumbar disc replacement on zygapophyseal joints using biomechanical analysis. METHODS: Based on normal 3-D finite element model of lumbar motion segment, L4-5 intervertebral disc, superior and inferior endplates were removed, and then, the model of SB-Charite Ⅲ disc prosthesis was added, which remained annular fibrosus and ligaments at L4-5 intervertebral space. Thus, 3-D finite element model of L4-5 segments artificial lumbar disc replacement was constructed. Biomechanical analysis of this model was processed under axial load, forward flexion, lateral bending or posterior extension moments. The stress data were contrasted with the normal 3-D finite element model of artificial disc replacement. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: After artificial lumbar disc replacement, the data of biomechanical analysis indicated: ①There was no significant differences between the zygapophyseal joint and normal segment of stress under axial load (P > 0.01).②Compared with normal segment, the stress of anterior, posterior of upper and lower vertebral body and bilateral zygapophyseal joint had no obviously difference under forward flexion and posterior extension moments (P > 0.01). ③The stress differences between the both sides of upper and lower vertebral body and bilateral zygapophyseal joint were not significant under lateral bending moment (P > 0.01). Artificial lumbar disc replacement can keep the stress of motion segment at normal level, which can meet the needs of spinal functional reestablishment.
