Objective:To detect the anti-cancer component, trans-resveratrol in red wine by high performance liquid chromatography, and to determine the influence of environmental factors on its content. Methods: A method for determining trans-resveratrol in red wine by HPLC is described. The operating conditions were ZORBAX-C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5μm) at room temperature, 30%acetonitrile as mobile phase at a flow of 1ml/min and UV detection at 306 nm. Results:The content of trans-resveratrol in Changyu dry red wine and Great Wall Claret Cabernet are (1.01±0.03)mg/L and (2.36±0.02)mg/L, respectively. The results show that, sunlight, high temperature and poor seal condition can decrease the content of trans-resveratrol. Conclusion:The content of trans-resveratrol varies in different brands of red wine. Red wine should be stored in cool, dark and sealed conditions.

Objective:To screen fatty acid synthase (FAS) inhibitors from natural products and study their inhibitory effects on the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells. Methods: CCK-8 method was used to detect the inhibitory effects of Fructus Amomi, Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb, Cinnamomi Ramulus and their main compounds, such as polydatin, resveratrol and cinnamic acid on the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells for 24 h.Results: The results showed that the IC50 values of the 60% ethanol extracts of Fructus Amomi, Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb, and Cinnamomi Ramulus were 24.86μg/ml, 153.67 μg/ml and 178 μg/ml respectively. The IC50 value of Resveratrol was 61.75 μg/ml. The inhibitory effect of Resveratrol was better than that of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. Cinnamic acid, the main component of Cinnamomi Ramulus had better inhibitory activity at lower concentration. Conclusion: The 60% ethanol extracts of Fructus Amomi, Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb, and Cinnamomi Ramulus all showed inhibitory effects on the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells in a dose-dependent manner. Among them, Fructus Amomi had the best inhibitory activity.

In recent years the interaction between host and gut microbiota has attracted increasing attention. However, intestinal flora dysbiosis may lead to many diseases, and there is increasing evidence that the intestinal microbiota in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with the pathophysiological status of the host. "Gut-kidney axis" provides a better explanation of the two-way communication between intestinal flora and CKD. Impaired kidney function leads to dysbiosis of intestinal flora and an altered intestinal flora can damage the intestinal mucosal barrier and facilitate the entry into the bloodstream of harmful bacteria, which can induce chronic inflammation and thus accelerate renal injury. In addition, the accumulation of nephrotoxic metabolites from an altered intestinal flora can aggravate CKD in the "gut-kidney axis". Among them,

Objective To evaluate the impact of respiratory motion on lung dosimetry using 4D-CT during lung cancer radiotherapy. Methods Ten cases were randomly selected from non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients treated in our department. The 4D-CT machine was adopted for simulation before treatment and 10 respiratory phases were obtained for each patient.Target volumes were delineated on the maximum intensity projection (MIP) images, and plans were generated on average intensity projection (ALP) images.Plans were transferred to CT images of each respiratory phase, and we calculated the dosage on lungs and subsequently evaluated the volume dosage to lungs and the entire body. Results The mean dosage to lungs are greatly affected by the respiratory phase. This difference also depended on tumor location. When it was inside the lung, the average dosage shows the same trend as the respiratory motion, with the change rate of 2.18%,which was less than the change of lung volume 4.49% (t =4.189,P < 0.05).When the tumor was located nearby the lung, the mean dosage showed the opposite trend with respiratory motion, with the change rate of 3.76%,which was also less than the change of lung volume 4.49% (t =25.007,P < 0.05).The effect of respiratory motion on V5,V10,V20 of body was small, and the magnitude of change for whole body dosages were 0.47%,0.28%,0.17% respectively, which was smaller than the change of lung volume 4.49% (t =11.371,11.188,11.377,P < 0.05).Volume dose of lung V5,V10,V20 and lung volume change trends were the same, and the magnitude of change for lung volume dosages were 2.39%,1.91%,1.80% respectively, and were smaller than the change of lung volume 4.49% (t =2.279,2.298,2.485,P < 0.05).Conclusions The mean dosage to lungs shows a great difference between different respiratory phases.More attention should be paid when evaluating the lung volume during treatment planning.

Objective To explore the early diagnosis and treatment of acute superior mesenteric arterial embolism (ASMAE).Methods The clinical data of 25 patients with acute superior mesenteric arterial embolism were retrospectively analyed. Results All 25(100%) patients had severe abdominal pain with abdominal signs,21(84%) patients had history of valvular heart disease or atrial fibrillation, and 17(68%) patients had hematochezia. All the cases were misdiagnosed preoperatively, including 11 patients were misdiagnosed as abdominal pain of unknown causes,3 patients as acute pancreatitis,3 patients as acute gastroenteritis,2 patients as necrotizing enteritis.1 patient as acute appenditis,1 patient as acute myocardial infarction, and 1 patient as acute cholecystitis;but 3 patients were preoperatively suspected to have impairment of mesenteric blood flow. All of the 25 patients underwent necrotic bowel resection,6 patients died, and 7 patients abandoned treatment because of serious complications such as short bowel syndrome etc.Mortality rate was 51%(13/25).Conclusions Early diagnosis of patients with acute superior mesenteric arterial embolism is difficult;the main cause of misdiagnosis is lack of recognition of its clinical signs.Fully grasping the characteristics of patients with early stage disease and effective early intervention are the fundamental measures for reducing mortality.
