China Biotechnology 2006;0(08):-
With the development of immunoassay and sensing technologies and the solid waste compost technologies being paid more and more attention, the method of immunosensor can’t be interfered by some interference factors of the commonly used analytical methods,it is of great significance to apply the immunosensor technologies in monitoring, and real-time,online measurement during compost process. The working mechanism and classification of immunosensor are briefly introduced, and the components of the complex compost system are divided into solid phase, liquid phase and gas phase. The development and application of immunosensor in compost is introduced. The latest progress in immunosensor for determination of trace toxicants is reviewed. The application of immunosensor in environmental monitoring and its future development are also discussed.

Objective To investigate the apoptotic effects of hypertrophic scar fibroblast (HSF) induced by HMME-PDT.Methods Fibroblasts were cultured from nontreated hypertrophic scars, and cells at passages 4-6 were used for the experiments (photosensitizer dose 4 μg/ml,λ630 nm,pow er density 10 mw/cm2,energy fluence 2.5 J/cm2).Morphological and biochemical changes in fibroblasts were assessed by Hoechst 33258 staining and fluorescence microscopy. The rate of apoptotic or necrotic cells was detected by flow cytometry (FCM) through double staining of Annexin V -FITC and popodium iodide (PI),respectively. Results Marked morphological features of cell apoptosis were viewed under the fluorescent microscope through Hoechst 33258 staining. The analysis of FCM indica ted that the apoptotic rate was significantly increased after HMME PDT [(34.82 ± I.42) % vs (3.12±0.28) %,P<0.05],and apoptotic rate was higher than necrosis rate [(14.65±1.02) % vs (34.82±1.42) %,P<0.05].Conclusions Low level exposure to 630 nm PDT mediated by HMME appears to induce fibroblast apoptosis.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2001;29(2):168-170
Two compositions, a sterol mixture and a pure ceramide, were isolated from the extract of a tunicate,Styela.canopus, collected from the Dayawan Bay, Guangdong. The sterols were detected by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, and their structure was confimed by spectroscopic analysis. The ceramide was identified by spectroscopic analysis. The contents of sterols and the ceramide in the extract were 12% and 0.3% respectively. This was also the first report about the chemical constituents of Sytela. canopus.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 2001;22(1):39-41
Objective an experimental animal model of acute myoc ardial infarction (ANI) was established by opening chest and ligation of the left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery. Methods a total of 20 rabbits were opened chest and ligated LAD under sterilization. Electrocardiogram (ECG) and myocardial-enzymes in blood serum were investigated. Results ECG of all rabbi t s showed normal before operation. Irmediately after and 1/2 hour after ligation , ST-segment elevated and ECG showed ambulatory changes for 7 and 9 rabbits respectively. Two hours after LAD ligation, the change of ECG for 2 rabbits wa s not typical and 2 of them died during experiment. Four weeks after operation, E CG of 18 rabbits showed the chest leads had pathologic Q waves. Twenty-four ho urs after LAD ligation, AST, LDH, LDH-1, CK and CK-MB in blood serum were significantly increased. There was significant difference compared with before operation (except LDH) (P<0. 0l). Conclusions:The method was sim ple and well repeated. The formation of myocardial infarction was reliable and rabbits were maintained for a long time after operation. It provides a valuable animal mode l for the experiment study of coronary heart disease.
