Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2010;33(8):18-19
Objective To explore the features of gallbladder adenomyoma in sonogram, and improve the abilities of diagnosis and differential diagnosis. Method Sonograms of 8 patients with proven gallbladder adenomyoma were retrospectively analyzed and correlated with pathologic findings. Results Eight patients had sonographic evidence of localized intramural nodular, which were round-like and hypoechoic, with anechoic space and tiny bright echos, confined almost exclusively to the fundus of gallbladder. Five patients were also evident with associated gallstones and chronic cholecytitis. Conclusion Sonograms of gallbladder adenomyoma have marked features, which can be differentially diagnosed from other projective lesions of gallbladder.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2009;32(17):24-26
Objective To study the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasonography in hematoma of soft tissues, and compare the images of different period of hematoma. Method Analyzed and compared the size, shape and sonographic characteristic of 46 cases with hematoma. Results The images of hematoma were round or oval in shape, more than 2.0 cm in trans-diameter, and were isoechoic or hypocchoic in the early stage, then anoechoic areas increased with hyperechoic septum and irregular hypoechoic, with posterior enhancement and hyperechoic boundary. A part of muscle fibres raptured and were occupied by the hematoma if the muscle tore. Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasonography can be the first choice and reliable imaging method to diagnose hematoma of soft tissues.

The paper reviews the expression and possible roles of chemokine receptor CXCR3 and its ligands in immune diseases, as well as the latest therapies targeting them.
5.Differential expression of Bmp2, Bmp4 and Bmp3 in embryonic development of mouse anterior and posterior palate
Chinese Medical Journal 2005;(20):1710-1716
Background The palate is differently regulated and developed along the anterior-posterior axis. The Bmp signal pathway plays a crucial role in palatogenesis. Conditioned-inactivation of Bmp type I receptor Alk2 or Alk3 in the neural crest or craniofacial region leads to palatal cleft in mice. However, how different Bmp members are involved in palatogenesis remains to be elucidated. In the present study, mRNA expression patterns of Bmp2, Bmp3 and Bmp4 in the developing anterior and posterior palates were examined and compared, focusing on the fusion stage. Methods To detect the expression of Bmp mRNA, antisense riboprobes were synthesized by in vitro transcription. Radioactive in situ hybridization was performed on sagital and coronal sections of mice head from E13 to E18. Results The expression of these Bmps were developmentally regulated in the anterior and posterior palates prior to, during and after palatal fusion. During palatal fusion, Bmp4 expression shifted from the anterior to the posterior palate, Bmp2 was highly expressed in both the anterior and posterior palates in this process, whereas Bmp3 was only localized in the posterior palate. They showed generally non-overlapping pattern in their expression domains. Thereafter, their expression was detected in both the anterior and posterior palates regulating osteogenesis and myogenesis respectively. Conclusions Bmp signalling is involved in palatogenesis in multiple stages and has multiple roles in regulating anterior and posterior palatal development. Disturbances of Bmp signalling during palatogenesis might be a possible mechanism of cleft palate.

AIM: To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of phacoemulsification and small incision non -phacoemulsification cataract surgery, and provide better options for clinical cataract treatment.
METHODS: According to the different operation methods, 98 cases of simple senile cataract patients in our hospital were divided into control group and treatment group, 49 cases in each. The control group received ultrasonic emulsification operation treatment; treatment group were treated by small incision non -phacoemulsification. Visual acuity, astigmatism values, average operation time, and complications were compared between two groups before and after operation.
RESULTS: There was no significant difference in preoperative corneal astigmatism values of two groups at 3mo between two groups (P>0. 05). On other times, vision and corneal astigmatism were obviously better than those before operation (P<0. 05). The average vision, corneal astigmatism values and complications incidence of two group at operation time and different postoperative time had no statistical difference (P>0. 05). When the lens nucleus hardness was at Ⅰ~Ⅲ level, corneal endothelial cell count of two groups had no significant difference ( P>0.05). When the lens nucleus hardness was at Ⅳ ~ Ⅴlevel, there was statistical difference (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract surgery has the similarly efficacy compared with phacoemulsification. It should be based on the actual situation of the hardness of nuclear to select the appropriate surgical treatment.

s Objective To observe the changes in neurochemical metabolites at early stage of DAI in rats with MRS technique. Methods DAI was induced by a self-made rotating injury device in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats (n=16). MRS was used to evaluate the changes in neurochemical metabolites before-trauma, 2 hours and 3 hours after the trauma. The data were analyzed by statistical analysis system. Results MRS demonstrated that contents of both NAA/Cr and Cho/Cr of corpus callosum were decreased obviously 3 hours posttrauma, and differences between those before trauma and those after trauma were statistically significant. The content of NAA/Cr of the brain stem was declined at 2 hours also with significant difference compared with that before trauma. There was no significant difference in values between 2 and 3 hours. The content of Cho/Cr of the brain stem was significantly decreased 3 hours after the trauma. Conclusions MRS technique has a high sensitivity in diagnosing microscopic pathology following DAI and functional defect of neuron and axon, as shown by significant decrease in NAA/Cr and Cho/Cr at early stage (i.e. 2-3 hours) after trauma.

Objective To assess left ventricular systolic and diastolic function in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM) with the aid of pulsed Doppler tissue imaging (DTI) to measure the four sides of mitral annular. Methods Thirty subjects with HCM and Twenty five age and sex matched controls were performed 2D and Doppler echocardiography . Two groups were studied with pulsed tissue Doppler imaging of the 4 sides of the mitral annulus (septal, lateral, inferior, anterior) in 4 and 2 chamber views. The velocities of systolic wave(Sa)、early diastolic filling wave (Ea)、late filling wave (Aa) and isovolumetric relaxation time were measured by DTI. Results Compared with normal control group, HCM group shows: (1) conventional data: LV wall thickness and mass indices were significantly greater. There were no significant difference in mitral flow Velocity. (2) DTI: There were more lower velocities of systolic and early diastolic filling wave. But isovolumetric relaxation time、mitra flow velocity / mitral annual early diastolic velocity ratio(E/Ea) increased. The velocities of systolic and early diastolic of septal site were the lowest among the 4 sides of the mitral annular and were the most closely with the average velocities of systolic and early diastolic of mitral annual. In addition, DTI may detect the pseudonormalization of mitral inflow. Conclusions DTI is more sensitive than conventional echocardiogram data and may be clinically used in exactly detecting left ventricular systolic and diastolic dysfunction in patients with HCM
