An 70-year-old male come for swallowing pain 5 years, turning worse 10 months. Laryngoscopy showed a tumor with rough surface at the laryngeal surface of epiglottic. Outpatient pathology: poorly differentiated carcinoma of the larynx. CT: the root of epiglottic is slightly thickened. He accepted the partial laryngectomy, tracheotomy, bilateral functional neck dissection. Pathology: atypical carcinoid of larynx.

Objective To investigate the expression of IL-10 and IL-6 in tissue and plasma of subtypes lymphoma and its significance. Methods Immunohistochemical technique and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to assess the expression of IL-10 and IL-6 in 97 cases paraffin tissue and plasma samples from different subtypes of lymphoma.Results Expression of IL-10 and IL-6 was positive in all lymphoma tissue samples, but there is no significant difference among different subtypes lymphoma (x2 =0.815, x2 =0.542, P ＞ 0.05). Tumor samples were found positive IL-10 and IL-6 expression in macrophages and vascular endothelial cells by immunohistochemistry respectively. Expression of IL-10 and IL-6 in plasma of lymphoma were higher than that in control respectively [(232.57±191.59) pg/ml vs (59.12±68.35) pg/ml,(80.70±89.68) pg/ml vs (45.68±33.66) pg/ml],with significant difference (t =6.968,t =2.896,P ＜0.05).IL-10 and IL-6 plasma levels increased with enhanced expression in lymphoma (x2 =0.815,x2 =0.542,P ＜ 0.05).Which was found to be correlated with each other (rs =0.394,P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion The expression of IL-10 and IL-6 had been found at various degrees in tissues and plasma of lymphoma.IL-10 and IL-6 in plasma of lymphoma were higher than that in controls. These results showed that IL-10 and IL-6 may cooperate in vivo with lymphoma cell proliferation and infiltrate. IL-6 and IL-10 maybe served as useful indicators for diagnosis of lymphoma.

Objective To study a improved technique by releasing the orbicularis retaining ligament in orbicularis oculi muscle supension blepharoplasty. Release of the orbicularis retaining ligament could cut off the contact between orbitomalar skin and periosteum at inferior orbital rim, and carry the point of tightening orbitomalar skin in orbicularis oculi muscle supension blepharoplasty. Methods There were 409 patients with apparent orbitmalar fold. The methods of releasing orbicularis retaining ligament and orbital septum fixation were added to improve the orbicularis oculi muscle supension blepharoplasty. Results 409 cases were treated using this method over the past 3 years. All results were satisfactory. No complications were observed. Conclusion This improved method of orbicularis oculi muscle supension blepharoplasty is useful for orbitomalar skin rolling, especially for orbitmalar fold. The release allows effective redraping and upward mobilization of the orbicularis of the lower lid and the premalar soft tissues. This method is a simple, safe and effective procedure for the correction of tear trough deformity and well-demarcated lid/cheek junction in lower eyelid belpharoplasty. It is one of the best choices for lower eyelid blepharoplasty.

Objective To study the prevalence of thrombocytosis in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and its correlation with clinicopathological features.Methods 156 patients with advanced NSCLC were retrospectively analyzed.The platelets degree between the groups with different sex,age,smoking,histological type of advanced NSCLC was compared and analyzed statistically.The relationship between the platelet count and chemotherapy effects was analyzed.Single analysis and Cox regression analysis were used for TTP and OS.Results Compared with the healthy persons,Plt significantly elevated in group with advanced NSCLC (36.5 ％,57/156 vs 5.0 ％,5/100) (P ＜ 0.01),and thrombocytosis group responded poorly to chemotherapy (22.8 ％,13/57 vs 39.4 ％,39/99) (P ＜ 0.05).The TTP (3.0 months vs 5.2 months) and OS (11.2 months vs 14.2 months) of Plt elevated group were significantly shorter than those of normal group.Conclusion Thrombocytosis is closely related to progress and metastasis of advanced NSCLC.Platelet count can be used as an assistant index in the prognosis judgment of patients with advanced NSCLC.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinicopathologic characteristics of different nation nonHodgkin lymphoma (NHL)in Urumqi of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.MethodsFour hundred and sixty-six cases of NHL were collected.Their sections including HE and immunohistochemical staining were examined again for diagnosis and classification.ResultsAmong 466 cases NHL,B cell neoplasm was 369cases (79.2 ％) and T cell lymphoma was 97 cases (20.8 ％).193 cases (41.4 ％) occured in the lymph node and 273 cases (58.6 ％) extranodal lymphoma.The most common subtypes were diffuse large B-cell lymphoma,small lymphocytic lymphoma/chronic lymphocytic leukaemia,extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosaassociated lymphoid tissue,NK/T cell lymphoma,peripheral T-cell lymphoma,follicular lymphoma.Tlymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL) and anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) in the Uygur were higher than the Han [7.5 ％ (9/120) vs 1.3 ％ (4/308),x2 =11.276,P=0.001; 4.2 ％ (5/120) vs 2.3 ％ (7/308),x2 =1.137,P =0.286],and T/NK cell lymphoma in the Han was higher than the Uygur [7.1 (22/308) vs 3.3 ％ (4/120),x2 =2.196,P =0.138].There was no statistically significance between the Uygur and Han in different subtypes of B-NHL (P ＞0.05).ConclusionIn Urumqi aera,the incidence is higher in extranodal lymphoma than that in nodal.B-NHL is more in Urumqi area than that in other area in our country.There is no difference obviously for mobility B-NHL in the Uygur and Han,but T-LBL and ALCL in the Uygur are higher than those in the Han,and T/NK cell lymphoma in the Han is higher than that in the Uygur.It is suggested to confirm further whether the different associated with different nation and region.

Objective To determine the drug-resistance rates of bacteria isolated from 7 hospitals located at different areas of China.Methods 1 111 pathogenic strains were isolated for susceptibility test using agar dilution method from Sep 1,204 to Aug 3 1,2005.According to the criteria of guideline of CLSI (2007),MIC50 and MIC90 were detected for antibacterial activity of antimicrobial agents and resistant rate (R%),intermediate rate(I%)and sensitive rate(S%)were calculated based on susceptibility tests.Results The detectable rates of methiciltin-resistant Staphylococcus anreus(MRSA)and methicilllin- resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis(MRSE)were 39.3%and 74.0% respectively.The total resistant rate of penicillin resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae(R%+I%) was 33.3%(R%=5.6%,I%=27.7%). 91 strains of Enterococcus were isolated.The resistant rate of penicillin resistant E.faecalis Was 40.8%.and E.faecium Was 100%.Neither strains of S.aureus nor strains of S.epidemidis were found resistant to vancomycin.No strains of Enterococcus were found resistant to vancomycin.644 strains of gram-negative bacilli were isolated.The most common gram-negative bacilli were E.coli,k pneumoniae,Acinetobacter spp,P.aeruginosa,and E.cloacae,respectively.The ESBLs-producing strains accounted for 38.6% and 26.7% in E.coli and K. pneumoniae.respectively.Meropenem and imipenem were the most potent antimicrobial agents.Cefoperazone/sulbactam demonstrated excellent activity agent of gram-negative bacilli.Most of the gram-negative bacillus still susceptible to ceftazidime.The new fluroquinotones, moxifloxacin and levofloxacin showed strong and broad spectrum activity against the most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.Conclusions This surveillance in 2004-2005 together with the surveillance in 2002-2003,were similar in the bacterial resistance pattern and the trend of rising resistant rates for some pathogens.

Objective To investigate the position sense in chronic non-specific low back pain (CNLBP) patients, and the correlation to pain and endurance of psoas muscles. Methods From January, 2014 to May, 2015, 30 patients with CNLBP and other 30 healthy subjects were measured spine flexion and extension position sense absolute error (AE) and psoas endurance with Biodex System 3 synchronously, and the patients were self-assessed the pain in lumbar with Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). The Pearson correlation coefficient of AE to pso-as endurance and NRS was calculated. Results AE of flexion and extension was both more in the patients than in the healthy (t>1.862, P<0.05), and the psoas muscle endurance was less (t=2.307, P<0.05). AE of flexion (r=-0.71) and extension (r=-0.47) negatively correlated with the psoas muscle endurance in the patients, and positively correlated with NRS score (r=0.78 for flexion, and r=0.49 for extension). AE mildly negative correlated with the psoas muscle endurance (r=-0.38 for flexion, and r=-0.29 for extension). Conclusion Spine sensation has been impaired in CNLBP patients, and may associate with pain and psoas muscles endurance loss.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of mechanical perfusion preservation kidney transplantation in donor after cardiac death (DCD),and to explore the effect of mechanical perfusion preservation of DCD on renal function recovery.Methods The clinical data of 186 patients undergoing DCD kidney transplantation from January 2012 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.Sixty-eight DCD donor's kidneys were preserved by LifePortpreservation (low temperature mechanical perfusion group),118 DCD donor's kidneys were preserved by static low temperature preservation (static low temperature preservation group).The renal function recovery,the incidence of primary non-function,delayed graft function and infection,and the survival rate of patients and renal grafts were analyzed.Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in gender,age,hemodialysis ratio,dialysis time,BMI,warm ischemia time and cold ischemia time (P＞0.05).There was significant difference in creatinine value between the two groups at 1st week (P＜0.05),but there was no significant difference in creatinine at 3rd,6th,12th,24th and 36th month (P＞0.05).There was significant difference in the incidence of DGF between two groups (P＜0.05),but no significant difference in the incidence rate of PNF,AR and infection,and the survival rate of patient and renal graft between two groups (P＞0.05).There was no significant difference in 1-and 3-year survival rate of the recipients and transplanted kidney between the two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion LifePort can significantly reduce the incidence of DGF as compared with static cold preservation.The resistance index and perfusion flow of the LifePort have important significance to assess the renal quality.
