Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(07):-
Objective To study the value of CT in evaluating the operable of gastric carcinoma in advanced stage. Methods The plainor contrast-enhanced CT scan was performed in 158 patients with advanced gastric carcinoma before operation. The patients were dividedinto "operable"group and"inoperable"group based on CT appearances with blind method, and CT features were analysed comparatively with operative findings. Results Of 102 patients in the operable group,97 cases were resected(95.1%).Of 56 cases in the inoperable group,50 underwent a laparotomy and in only 6 cases the tumors were resected. There was significant difference between the two groups(P

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 1996;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the proliferation and phenotypes of peripheral mononuclear cells (PMNC) stimulated by recombinant human RANTES (rhRANTES) and the mechanisms involved. Methods PMNC was stimulated by various concentrations of rhRANTES and/or anti-CD3 mAb and intervened by PDTC and CTLA4Ig. Scintillation counter was used to count the cpm of proliferation cells and flow cytometry was used to detect the phenotypes of lymphocytes. Results rhRANTES was capable of directly stimulating purified human PMNC proliferation and two peaks occurred with rhRANTES concentration of 100 ng/ml and 5000 ng/ml respectively. The proliferation of PMNC stimulated by rhRNATES was significantly higher than that in the presence of anti-CD3mAb (P

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 1996;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the implication of lymphotactin (LTN) mRNA expression in cardiac allografts and the effect of cyclosporin A (CsA).Methods Three groups of rats underwent the heterotopic cardiac transplantation: isograft group (group A), untreated group (group B) and CsA treated group (group C). The LTN mRNA expression was detected by one step RT PCR method. Results The expression of LTN mRNA was not detected in both isografts and normal hearts. The changes of LTN mRNA expression were correlated with the process of acute allograft rejection. The peak of elevated level of the LTN mRNA expression appeared in the 5th day after transplantation and CsA could delay the peak and downregulate its expression. The peak level of LTN mRNA expression in group C was significantly lower than that in group B ( P

Chinese Mental Health Journal 1988;0(06):-
Objective: To explore the effect of cognitive therapy on obsessional compulsive disorder (OCD). Method: Forty-seven patients with OCDO were randomly assigned to cognitive therapy group and conventional treatment group, the later with paroxetine treatment only as control. The results were assessed with Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA), Yale-Brown Obsessional Compulsive Scale and social disability screening scale. Result: The cognitive therapy group had lower scores in HAMA and Y-BOCS than the control group after 8 weeks therapy, this difference remained in the follow-up after 6 months, when the cognitive group had also lower score in social disability. Conclusion: Cognitive therapy can benefit patients with OCD more than medication only.

Journal of Clinical Neurology 1992;0(01):-
Objective To explore the dynamic changes of neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and myelin basic protein (MBP) in serum of rats with temporal epilepsy (EP) induced by kainic acid (KA) and to judge the degree of injury of brain neuron and nerve myelin after seizure. Methods KA was injected into rat's hippocampus by stereotactic operation to establish an animal model of temporal EP.The levels of NSE and MBP in serum of rats with temporal EP were measured at the time 3 h,6 h,12 h,24 h,48 h and 72 h after seizure. Results The level of NSE in serum increased gradually and reached its peak at 24 h after seizure, as well as MBP at 72 h.Conclusions There are the nerve cell damage and necrosis after seizure in rats with temporal EP, then brain white matter nerve myelin appear to damage.

Objective To compare the effects of tibolone and cisapride on gastrointestinal motility in menopausal patients with functional dyspepsia (MPFD).Methods Fifty-three MPFD and 31 MPFD complicated with bile reflux were divided into 3 groups randomly. They were treated with tibolone, cisapride and both drugs for 4 weeks, respectively. The gastric emptying, serum motilin and intragastric bile were measured before and after the treatment. Results The 30-min gastric emptying rates of all groups were significantly improved (P

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(02):-
The left ventricular (LV) myocardial remodeling process that occurs in various settings of congestive heart failure (CHF) had historically been attributed to intrinsic changes in the cardiac myocyte. However, it is now recognized that important changes also occur within the extracellular matrix (ECM) of the myocardium, contributing to the remodeling process. Matrix metalloproteinases are a family of proteolytic enzymes responsible for myocardial extracellular protein degradation.Several MMP species identified within the human myocardium may be dysregulated in congestive heart failure (CHF). The purpose of the present review is to present a brief overview of the matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) within the myocardium that likely contributes to myocardial remodeling,to examine the results from basic studies to explore relationship with respect to MMPs activation and congestive heart failure.-

Chinese Journal of Urology 2000;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical implication of CC chemokines and receptor in long surviving kidney grafted patients of different immune states. Methods 73 cases of recipients surviving more than 3 years were divided into three groups: control group of normal renal function(C group,n=32), group under low dosage of immunosuppressants(L group,n=20) and group with chronic allograft dysfounction(D group,n=21). The plasma RANTES、MCP 1 and MIP 1?were detected by sandwich ELISA.The expression of CCR5 was determined by flow cytometry(FACS). Results Concentrations of RANTES and MIP 1? as well as expression rate of CCR5 in L group were lower than those of C group ( P 0.05).Plasma level of MCP 1 was significantly higher in group D than that in group C( P 0.05). Conclusions Expression of CC chemokines and receptor closely correlated with the immune state of renal transplant recipients and could be valuable to estimate and monitor the immune state of patients.

Objective To discuss the effects of 6Emodel on stress distress in patients with colorectal cancer after permanent intestinal stoma and to provide reference for the implementation of psychological intervention. Methods A total of 168 patients with permanent intestinal stoma were divided into control group(85 cases)and intervention group(83 cases). In the control group, routine nursing was adopted, while in intervention group, nursing based 6Emodel (including experience, environment, event, engaging, effect, expand)was adopted. The time of intervention was 1 year, and the psychological distress scale for cancer patients was tested. Results After interven-tion,the psychological distress of the intervention group was (39.62 ±14.62)points,which was lower than (46.21 ± 13.68)points of the control group, the difference was statistically significant between the two groups(t =3.057,P =0.002).Conclusion The 6Emodel can reduce the level of psychological distress of colorectal cancer after per-manent intestinal stoma, and has positive effects on the early distress following stoma. The intervention can be one of the effective ways to implement psychological intervention for patients with stoma.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(01):-
Objective To investigate drug-resistance and the genotypes of extended-spectrum ? lactamases (ESBLs) producers in Beijing Tiantan Hospital and Beijing Chaoyang Hospital. Methods Standard agar dilution method, transconjugation test, isoelectric focusing, DNA sequencing were preformed in 52 clinical isolates of Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae. Results ESBLs producers were resistant to many antibiotics. DNA sequencing of amplicons of 52 strains revealed that ESBLs-encoded genes were CTX-M-14, 22,24 and SHV-2,12,respectively. Conclusions We should pay great attention to detect ESBLs producers and investigate their genotypes, so that we could prevent regional prevalence of ESBLs producers and utilize antibiotics reasonably.
