Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2017;16(1):39-44
Objective To evaluate the association between serum ferritin and the risk of cardiovascular disease among the Chinese population. Methods Based on the data from China Health and Nutrition Survey 2009, we used the Framingham risk score to calculate the 10-year risk of cardiovascular disease and analyzed the association between serum ferritin and the risk of cardiovascular disease in different gender by logistic regression analysis. Results Among 6 551 respondents, 3 035 (46.3%) were males and 3 516 ( 53.7%) were females whose mean age were ( 49.3 ±13.8 ) and ( 49.2 ±13.7 ) years, respectively. The median level of serum ferritin was 75.08 ( 36.71 -138.75 )μg/L.According to the 10-year risk of cardiovascular disease calculated by the Framingham risk score , the low risk group, middle risk group and high risk group were accounted for 79.5%( n=5 207 ) , 15.7% ( n=1 028 ) and 4.8%( n=316), respectively. The median of serum ferritin (121.61 vs.46.14, P<0.01) and the Framingham risk score (8.6 ±6.0 vs.7.3 ±1.6, P<0.01) of males were higher than those of females. The percentages of the middle risk group ( 30.6% vs.2.8%) and high risk group ( 9.8% vs.0.5%) of 10-year risk of cardiovascular disease in males were higher than those in females ( P <0.01 ).The 10-year risk of cardiovascular disease ≥10%increased with the increasing of serum ferritin in females ( trend P<0.01 ) but not in males. Conclusion Serum ferritin levels are positively correlated with the risk of cardiovascular disease in female Chinese.

Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2010;14(3):192-194
Objective To evaluate the value of clinical findings and different diagnostic criteria for the diagnosis of adult onset Still's disease (AOSD). Methods The AOSD patients admitted to Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University from 2003 to 2009 were enrolled. Non-AOSD patients with fever were selected. Different diagnostic criteria of AOSD were applied to all patients. Two indenpendent samples t test and wilco-xon test were used for statistical analysis. Results The clinical features such as rash, arthralgia, arthroncus, sore throat, myalgia, lymph node enlargement, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, leuko-cytosis, neutrophil ≥80% and serum level of ferrin≥ 2000 ng/ml hadhigher specificity (65.87%~98.41%) with 2.00~5.00 of the positive likelihood ratio.High fever ( ≥39.0℃), negative of ANA and RF had higher sensi-tivity (85.25%~93.65%). Combinations of three parameters such as high fever, rash, sore throat, leukocy-tosis, arthralgia had higher positive likelihood ratio. The specificity of ARA criteria was the highest. The sensitivity and accuracy of Yamaguchi criteria were the highest. Conclusion There is no single parameter that could be specific to the identification of AOSD. Combing with several parameters can improve the diagnostic efficiency. The results of this study have shown that the commonly used diagnostic criteria has high specificity.

Objective To investigate the immune effect and the security after inoculating rabies vaccine in children. Methods To investigate and to detect the antibody level by the way of ELISA among the 337 children wounded by animals and vaccined the rabies vaccine. Results The positive rate of the antibody is 99.7%, the ad-verse effect is moderate. Conclusion Domestic adjuvant-free aqueous rabies vaccine, domestic freeze dried rabies vaccine and peregrinus freeze dried rabies vaccine all have satisfactory immunogenicity and little adverse effect.

50?10~(9)/L. Of the patients, 3 died of liver function exhaustion or disease relapse 1-12 months after transplantation , 2 are still alive with disease for 3-5 months , but others are still alive and disease-free for 3-64 months. Conclusions:PBSCT is a safe therapeutic option that can significantly improve in acute leukemia and malignant solid tumors.

Objective To compare activated and normal Schwann cells in GAP43 gene expression. Methods 10 male SD rats, weighed from 100 g to 120 g. The right median nerve of SD rats was transected at the axillary level and was buried in muscle for predegeneration. 1 week later, the distal segment of the transected right median nerve with 1 cm long was harvested. The untreated left median nerve was harvested as control with same length. The epineurium of nerve was stripped, then the nerve tract was cut to small pieces. Schwann cells were obtained by way of double kinases digestion with 0.25% trypsin and 0.03% collegenase. The right median nerve was activated with additional liquid during digestion so as to obtain the activated Schwann cells. The normal Schwann cells were harvested from left median nerve. rt-PCR was used for GAP43 gene enlargement. mRNA was distilled from activated Schwann cells and untreated Schwann cells respectively. Then the mRNA was reversely transcripted to cDNA with SuperScriptTM, and cDNA worked as template for PCR enlargement. The product of PCR was separated with 1% agarose gel electrophoresis for 40 -50 min and stained with SYBR Green Ⅰnucleic acid gel. Fluorescence intensity of GAP43 PCR products was measured and then compared between the experiment group and control group. Results The Fluorescence intensity of GAP43 PCR product of activated Schwann cells was higher than that of normal Schwann cell. There was significant difference (P=0.003, Paired t test). It indicated that GAP43 mRNA of activated Schwann cells was much more than that of the normal Schwann cells. Conclusion GAP43 gene expression is up regulated in activated Schwann cells in contrast to normal Schwann cells. Activated Schwann cells secreting more GAP43, which may be one of the important mechanisms in promoting nerve regeneration.

Objective To compare the effect of the tissue adhesive Histoacryl and traditional suturing treatment on the cracked wounds on children's craniofacial skin. Methods About 152 children patients with cracked wounds children's craniofacial skin from March 2015 to June 2015 were divided into two groups according to their parents' will. Group A, with 77 patients, was treated by the tissue adhesive Histoacryl and Group B, with 75 patients, was treated by traditional suturing. The two groups were compare in terms of the treatment time and effect. Result The treatment time of Group A was significantly shorter than that of Group B (P<0.001), while there was no significant difference between the two groups in the level of wound healing (P>0.05). Conclusions Compared to the traditional suturing, the tissue adhesive Histoacryl is advantageous, for its easy operation, short treatment time, prominent efficacy and beautiful appearance. Moreover, it can relieve the pain of children during the treatment.

China Medical Equipment 2017;14(2):45-46,47
Objective:To analyze the difference of glomerular filtration rate (GFR) among image processing of the renal dynamic imaging through various methods. Methods: The renal dynamic imaging was processed through various methods, and using the image post-processing software. Using SPSS statistic system to analyze the data. Results: The methods of image processing had impacts on GFR. (1)The difference of GFR data obtained from images which were processed by different operators were not statistically significant. (2) The difference of GFR data obtained from images which image processing repeatedly by the same operator were not statistically significant. (3)GFR data measured based on background detecting regions of interest (ROI) (manually defined or auto-defined ROI) placed in different positions of kidney image had statistical significant. (4) The difference of GFR data were measured by manually defined and auto-defined background ROI had statistical significant. Conclusion: Choosing the proper image processing way, combining clinical appearance and detection, and gaining real data help to ensure the accuracy of imaging diagnostic reports.
