Objective To better understand and manage the current situation and problems of patent transformation in university affiliated hospital.Methods we conducted the statistical analysis the quantity of patent authorization in the Peking University People's Hospital during 2002-2013,and the status of patent transformation.Results The quantity of patent authorization increased significantly,however the number of patent transformation is small,with low proportion.Meantime,the transformation period is long,with single mode.Conclusions the hospital should be strengthened for all patent life-cycle management,and strengthen the emphasis on the conversion work to build integrated management team,in particular by building technological achievements promotion platform,improve the incentive mechanism to strengthen the franchise use of the work.

To assist and improve the management level ofresearch reagents and consumables in hospitals.Research reagents and consumables can be classified into two groups the general and the special.Based on this classification and supported with informatization system,we can better serve researchers and improve the efficiency of research funds.Besides,the hospital can better control the consumption of research reagents and consumables,and supervise the use of research funds.

This article summarized the management status of scientific research fund of our hospital. It focused on the whole process management which included the establishment,application and permission of the fund,supervision and tracking of the granted projects.All the management process was dealt with the management mode including standard management,scientific management and tracking management.Some effective experiences were obtained from the whole process management.

Since Peking University People's Hospital Research and Development Funds were founded as "Seed Funds" in 2006, its management concept has been developing. During the development, the policy-oriented service replaced the policy-based single service. The three-dimensional service system was formed. As the result, the scientific research outputs increased annually with good development condition.

It is key for research institutions to ensure the standardized supervision of the progression and fund use of research projects.Peking University People's Hospital designed and applied a whole-process management mode of projects based on information system,which oversaw the conduct and funds management of projects.The application of this mode has significantly promoted the management level of scientific research projects.

Objective To provide helpful experiences for the development,construction,and evaluation of RRP through constructing the evaluation system.Methods The study of literature and comprebensive analysis were employed.Results Putting forward the principle of establishing the evaluation system and finally,attempting to build an evaluation system that specifically aiming at the RRP system.Conclusions The evaluation methods should be updated.

Objective To evaluate the research performance based on DEA and to provide the corresponding development measures for medical subjects in hospital.Methods Based on the analysis of medical subjects at Peking University People's Hospital,this paper explored the evaluation index system of medical subjects.The output-oriented DEA was selected and applied in the performance evaluation.Results We figure out that the DEA ratio of every medical subject with the established method in the program of DEAP Version 2.1.Conclusions The method based on DEA can reflect the performance of medical subjects,and the analysis of the evaluation results can provide the management department of hospital with evidences and references for policy making of medical subjects' development.

The scientific research achievements and possible impact factors were analyzed statistically in the hospital during the past 10 years,especially in 2007,and the analysis result showed the development trends of the scientific research and impact factors of rewards.Also,to improve medical scientific research and its management level,the author proposed the related countermeasures and suggestions in this artiele.

Fine management of scientific research funds is an important support for implementation of scientific research projects and promotion of scientific researches in hospital.In order to ensure effective usage of scientific research funds and sustainable development of scientific research,Peking University People's Hospital has laid much stress on the management of scientific research funds,and explored the methods and measures for fine management of scientific research funds.

Methods Based on the analysis of NSFC projects in Peking University People's Hospital,this paper determined the evaluation index system of NSFC projects.The outputoriented DEA was selected and applied in the performance evaluation.Results We figures out the DEA ratio of every NSFC project with the established method in the program of DEAP Version 2.1.Conclusion The method based on DEA can reflect the performance of NSFC projects,and the evaluation results can provide project managers and the management department of NSFC with evidences and references to make polices for project management.
