1.Inguinal hernia and cord lipomas

Cord lipoma is a trite lipoma, it is a protrusion of extraperitoneal fatty tissue through the internal inguinal ring. The incidence is between 20% to 30%.It is often caused by a protrusion of extraperitoneal fatty tissue through the internal inguinal ring, lobular retroperitoneal fat insinuates itself through the internal ring and over time dilates it. Patients with a higher BMI are more prone to having a cord lipoma. Incidence of lipoma associated with Type II and Ⅲ hernias was bigher. it is suggest that the incidence of lipoma assoeiated with the type of hernias and patients with a larger hernias are more prone to having a coM lipoma. The cord lipoma is difficult to diagnosis before surgery,because it is similar to hernias in symptom. Ultrasound is safe and useful in finding hernias and cord lipoms, the overall accuracy is 92%. It is necessary to resect lipomas and repair as long as the extraperitoneal fatty tissue through into the inguinal canal.

Objective:To study the expression of chemokine receptor CCR5 in follicular thyroid carcinoma and the serum level of CCR5 ligand,so as to assess the role of CCR5 in progression and metastasis of follicular thyroid carcinoma.Methods:Fifteen samples of follicular thyroid carcinoma,17 samples of follicular thyroid adenoma and 12 adjacent normal samples were analyzed immunohistochemically for CCR5 expression.The sera concentrations of CCL3,CCL4 and CCL5 were measured by ELISA in all patients.Results:CCR5 was positive in follicular thyroid carcinoma samples,with the positive rate being 73.33%,and was not detected in the follicular thyroid adenoma and the normal samples(P

Diabetic retinopathy ( DR ) is one of the common and serious complications of diabetes, which also the main causes of visual impairment in patients with diabetes, and its incidence has been increasing. With the in- depth study of the pathogenesis of DR, through the control of risk factors including blood glucose, blood pressure and lipid, as well as the application of a variety of drugs, the prevention and cure of DR achieved a certain effect. ln this paper, we make a review of the present status and progress in recent years on the DR control risk factors and drug intervention.

Objective To Evaluate the cognitive function in essential hypertensive patients complicated with metabolism diseases. Methods Eighty five essential hypertensive patients(EH)and other seventy four essential hypertensive patients complicated with metabolic disorder (EH+MD) were enrolled. 6.Analysis of safety on blood transfusion in the elderly patients

Objective To analyze the safety of blood transfusion in hospitalized senile patients,and to prevent or reduce adverse transfusion reactions. Methods The blood transfusion information of patients over the age of 60 years in our hospital from January 2009 to December 2011 were retrospective analyzed. The data of pre-storage type of autologous blood transfusion for elective surgery were also discussed. Results Among 3549 cases of elderly patients,there were totally 23877 times of allogeneic transfusion and 84 cases with blood transfusion adverse reactions of heating or allergic reactions.The adverse reaction rates occured most in the infusion of fresh frozen plasma (0.55%).There was no hemolytic reaction,and transfusion adverse reactions occarred during stored blood autotransfusion. Conclusions Medical institutions should set the scientific and rational principle of blood use and select the appropriate blood components to reduce transfusion adverse events in the elderly patients. The autologous blood transfusion in the elderly patients should be actively pursued.
7.Investigation of TCM Syndrome in 516 pulmonary tuberculosis patients

Objective To investigate characteristics of TCM syndromes of pulmonary tuberculosis,and to explore new methods for its treatment. Methods TCM syndrome scale was designed to investigate and summarize the characteristic of the syndrome, the syndrome of the general information, and the main clinical symptoms of 516 pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Results The between-group comparison of distribution of TCM syndromes in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis showed statistical difference (P<0.05) . The occurrence rate of TCM syndromes in the 516 pulmonary tuberculosis patients were listed in descending order as follows:syndrome of both Qi and yin deficiency complicated with stasis > syndrome of lung yin deficiency complicated with stasis>syndrome of both Qi and yin deficiency>syndrome of yin deficiency with various with age (P<0.05) . Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 66.15% of the total number in the youth group; Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 78.03% of the total number in the middle-aged group;distribution of TCM syndromes was statistically different with the initial treatment and re-treatment (P<0.05) .Patients with the blood stasis syndrome occupied 72.73% of the total number in the initial group, patients with effulgent fire > lung yin deficiency syndrome.① The distribution of TCM syndromes was statistically various with age (P<0.05) . Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 66.15% of the total number in the youth group; Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 78.03% of the total number in the middle-aged group; Patients with blood stasis syndrome occupied 78.22% of the total number in the old-aged group. ② The distribution of TCM syndromes was statistically different with the initial treatment and re-treatment (P<0.05) . Patients with the blood stasis syndrome occupied 72.73% of the total number in the initial group, patients with the blood stasis syndrome occupied 75.61% of the total number in the re-treatment group.③ The distribution of TCM syndromes was statistically different with the main symptoms (P< 0.05 ) . Conclusion All 516 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis had Yin deficiency. There were 380 patients had the stasis, occupying 73.64%.Therefore, the methods of nourishing yin and removing blood stasis should be used to treat patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.

Objective To study the effect of Yangfei Huoxue Prescription on ERK1/2 and NFK-B of bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats. Methods All of rats were randomly divided into seven groups and were intratracheally infused with bleomycin to build the model. Sham operation group and model group were given 5‰ CMC, dexamethasone group was given dexarnethasone solution, and each treatment group was given corresponding Chinese medicine mixture. 9.Relationship of myocardial damage of chronic and latent Keshan disease with desmin gene exon6 A360P missense mutation

Objective To survey the relationship between myocardial damage of chronic and latent Keshan disease with A360P missense mutation in desmin gene exon6. Methods By clinical epidemiology method,30 cases had been collected randomly among chronic Keshan disease patients and 30 cases equally among healthy adults (inner control groups) in Diantou town,Huangling county,Shaanxi province,a Keshan disease area,and 30 cases among health adults(outer control group) in Chang'an district,Xian city,a normal area. Genome DNA had been extracted from 90 blood samples. Different restriction sites had been analyzed by the methods of PCR,digested by restriction endonuclease and electrophoresis. By virtue of Bsp1286 Ⅰ enzyme,122 bp and 60 bp strap could be found in control group from exnn4,showing that Bsp1286 Ⅰ enzyme was active. By virtue of Bsp1286 Ⅰ enzyme,desmin gene exon6 was digested to 184 bp and 66 bp strip when A360P missense mutation site exited in exon6. Results One hundred and twenty two bp and 60 bp strap could be found in control group from exon4 digested by Bsp1286 Ⅰ ,which showed Bsp1286 Ⅰ enzyme was active. Two hundred and fifty bp strips can only be found in digest products of exon6. One hundred and eighty-four and 66 bp strips which were the products of DNA digested by Bsp1286 Ⅰ could not be found. A360P missense mutation site of desmin gene exon6 had not been found among chronic and latent Keshan disease patients and tow control groups in Keshan disease area and in normal area. Conclusions A360P missense mutation site of desmin gene exon6 has not been found among chronic and latent Keshan disease patients. A360P missense mutation of desmin gene exon6 probably is not predisposing genes of chronic Keshan disease.
