Objective To evaluate therapeutic ERCP in the treatment and preventing the recurrence of acute biliary pancreatitis(ABP).Methods One hundred and seventeen patients of ABP were randomly divided into two groups,ERCP treatment group(n=49)and non-ERCP control group(n=68).Changes of clinical symptoms and laboratory indexes were recorded accordingly.Follow-up study was for all the patients. Results Of the 117 with ABP,99 cases were mild(MABP)and 18 ones were severe(SABP).The days of relief of abdominal pains, normalization of hepatic function indexes and hospitalization were significantly shorter in ERCP treatment group than that in control group. The complications related to endoscopic therapy were not found. All patients had got followed-up visits for average 20(range 5-37)months(94.0%).The re- currence rate in the ERCP group 0(0/46)were significantly lower than that in the control group 46.8%(29/ 62)(P

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of component I from agkistrodon acutus venomon (AAVC-I) the migration of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), and to elucidate the possible anti-angiogenic mechanism of AAVC-I.
METHODSThe effect of AAVC-I on the migration of HUVECs which was cultivated in vitro and treated with AAVC-1 at four concentrations: 0, 20, 40, 80 microg/ml, was observed by methods of scratch wound-healing and Transwell assay. The expression level of mRNA and protein of P-selectin and intercellular cell adhension molecule-I (ICAM-1) were examined by RT-PCR and Western blot assay.
RESULTSCompared with the blank group, the migration ability of HUVECs in each AAVE-I treated group was reduced in a dose-dependent manner, and the expression level of the mRNA and protein of P-selectin and ICAM-1 were decreased.
CONCLUSIONAAVC-I inhibits the migration of endothelial cell, which is acted by down-regulation of the expression content of mRNA and protein of P-selectin and ICAM-1.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of the comprehensive intervention program of Xinjiang and to analyze the main problems to provide references for the adjusting on the intervention strategies in future work. Methods Based upon the combination of reviewing literatures, field investigations and questionnaires,an overall evaluation was made on the effectiveness of the program, supportive policies and intervention measures, etc. Results Some progressions had been achieved in the early days. However,in recent years, the negligence of the work and failed coordination between the related governments, and unbenefitting policies for iodinated salt, were the main obstacles for the progress. Conclusions To improve the progress of controlling iodine deficiency disorders, the government should fully carry on its responsibility, giving supports both of policy and funds.Salt administrative sector should make favourable policies to benefit the local population. And health sector should coordinate the related sectors, and reinforce the health education and surveillance.

OBJECTIVETo develop a quantitative method for the determination of akebia saponin D in root of Dipacus asperoides and provide scientific basis for quality control of D. asperoides.
METHODAn IPLC analytical method was established using Kromasil ODS column with acetonitrile-water (30:70) as mobile phase and the detection wavelength was 212 nm.
RESULTThe akebia saponin D in root extract were well separated by this method. The linear range is between 0.582 5-9.32 microg, r = 0.9999. The average recovery and RSD of repeatability are 100.3%, 2.3%, respectively.
CONCLUSIONThis method is simple, accurate and reliable by evaluating the method validation data and can be used for the quality control of D. asperoides and its preparations.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical effect of microsurgical vasoepididymostomy and/or vasovasostomy in the treatment of obstructive azoospermia.
METHODSThis study included 76 patients with obstructive azoospermia, 53 treated by bilateral vasoepididymostomy (8 involving the epididymal head, 18 involving the epididymal body, 5 involving the epididymal tail, and 22 involving the epididymal head, body and tail), 14 by unilateral vasoepididymostomy, and the other 9 by unilateral vasoepididymostomy + unilateral vasovasostomy (including cross anastomosis). We followed up the patients for 2 to 16 months for the patency rate, routine semen parameters, and pregnancy outcomes.
RESULTSThe success rate of bilateral vasoepididymostomy, unilateral vasoepididymostomy, and unilateral vasoepididymostomy + unilateral vasovasostomy (including cross anastomosis) were 62.26% (33/53), 35.71% (5/14), and 77.78% (7/9), respectively. The average sperm concentrations in the three groups of patients were (27.9 +/- 5.74), (11.8 +/- 8.33), and (19.9 +/- 7.53) x 10(6)/ml, the average total sperm counts were (65.6 +/- 13.71), (28.0 +/- 15.86), and (69.2 +/- 28.59) x 10(6), and the mean rates of progressively motile sperm were (22.3 +/- 3.18), (11.0 +/- 9.77), and (15.8 +/- 5.05)%, respectively. The success rates of bilateral vasoepididymostomy that involved the epididymal head, body, tail, and all the three parts were 62.5, 72.22, 60, and 54.55%, respectively. Natural pregnancy was achieved in 8 (10.53%) of the total number of cases.
CONCLUSIONMicrosurgery is effective for the treatment obstructive azoospermia. Unilateral vasoepididymostomy + unilateral vasovasostomy is superior to the other procedures, followed by bilateral vasoepididymostomy. Bilateral vasoepididymostomy involving the epididymal body may achieve a slightly better effect than that involving the other epididymal parts.

BACKGROUNDTo develop a capturing-ELISA for the detection of anti-HCMV-IgM antibody in serum.
METHODSThe anti-HCMV-IgM antibody was detected in 68 patients with HCMV infection by the capturing-ELISA, and the results were compared with those of indirect ELISA.
RESULTSThe specificity and sensitivity of the capturing-ELISA were shown to be significantly higher than those of indirect ELISA, and its results were not affected by RF factor.
CONCLUSIONThe capturing ELISA is specific, sensitive, convenient and reliable method which may be feasible for clinical use.

Objective To retrospectively analyze the significance of dynamic intracranial pressure monitoring and routine monitoring in the treatment of severe traumatic brain injury. Methods Forty-two patients with severe craniocerebral trauma who were admitted into our hospital from March 2013 to December 2015 and underwent intracranial pressure monitoring were enrolled in this study as the observation group.Thirty-nine patients with severe traumatic brain injury who were routinely monitored within 3 hours after admission were selected as the control group in the corresponding period.Timely take drugs or surgical treatment according to the monitoring results, and analyzed the clinical efficacy, craniotomy cases, time of admission to craniotomy, and complications of the two groups. Results The cases with good prognosis in the control group was 24 (61.5%) while it was 31 (73.8%) in the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).The cases with poor prognosis in the control group was 15 (38.5%) while it was 11 (26.2%) in the observation group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Therer were 13 cases (30.1%) of craniotomy in the control group and 5 cases (12.8%) in the observation group with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05).The time of admission to craniotomy in the control group was (24.5 ± 1.7) hours, and it was (18.3 ± 2.4) house in the observation group with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05).The incidence of intracranial infection complication was 9.5% in the control group and 8% in the observation group. There was no significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Invasive intracranial pressure monitoring can reflect the changes of patients in time, which can improve the clinical curative effect and would not increase the incidence of intracranial infection.
