Objective T o study the effect of different attentional conditions on the event-related potential (E R P ) com ponents generated by the visual inform ation stim uli related to visual acuity, and provide a theoretical reference for clinical forensic visual objective evaluation. Methods W ith visual acuity opto-types as norm al form of visual inform ation stim uli, 15 volunteers as study subjects w ere supposed to ac-count the visual acuity optotypes under the attentional condition of visual stim uli. Furtherm ore, the sub-jects w ere required to listen to the storytelling carefully under the non-attentional condition of visual stim uli, and after the exam ination, they needed to answ er the story-related questions. A ll the E E G re-sults of tw o different attentional conditions from the subjects w ere recorded by 32 channel E R P system . Results U nder tw o attentional conditions, P 1 and P 300 com ponents w ere evoked by the visual acuity opto-types on supra-threshold and threshold visual acuity levels, w hile only P 1 com ponent w ere evoked by the visual acuity optotypes on sub-threshold levels. In the E R P w aveform s evoked by the visual acuity optotypes on supra-threshold, P 1 and P 300 am plitudes under attentional condition w ere larger than that un-der non-attentional condition. Conclusion A ttentional conditions can influence the detection of visual acuity. P 300 com ponent can be used to distinguish the visual acuity levels w ith supra-threshold and sub-threshold under non-attentional condition.

Objective· To compare the impacts on clinical efficiency and safety between 0.014 inch Synchro microwire and Transend microwire used during mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) caused by large artery occlusion. Methods· Forty-six patients undergoing mechanical thrombectomy with stent retrievers between October 2012 and January 2016 were included, who were classified into Synchro group (21cases) and Transend group (25 cases). The clinical outcome, procedure time, and safety were analyzed and compared between two groups. Results· The recanalization rates were similar between two groups (P=0.600),but time from puncture to vascular recanalization of Synchro group was much shorter than that of Transend goup (48.88 min vs 82.33 min,P=0.001).The rates of functional independence (modified Rankin scale score ≤ 2) were similar between two groups (P=1.000).There was no significant difference of the rates of post-procedure subarachnoid hemorrhage (PSAH) between two groups (P=1.000).However,there were two cases that had fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage with intracranial hematoma in Transend group, while there was only one case of mild subarachnoid hemorrhage who recovered well in Synchro group. Conclusion· Compared with Transend microwire,Synchro microwire can significantly shorten the procedure time of mechanical thrombectomy, and the risk of fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage is rather small.

Objective To evaluate the closed-cell stents in the treatment of carotid pseudo-occlusion.Methods From Jan 2014 to Dec 2017,clinical data of 34 patients undergoing carotid artery recanalization with closed-cell stents for pseudo-occlusion were analyzed retrospectively. Results The technical success rate was 97.1% (33/34) and the intracranial blood supply improved in 91.2% patients (31/34).The 30-day perioperative ipsilateral symptomatic ischemic stroke rate was 2.9% (1/34).All the patients were discharged with no peri-operative hyperperfusion syndrome, myocardial infarction. The average follow-up time was 15.2 ±7.6 months. The incidence of carotid artery restenosis was 17.6%.There was no stroke-related mortality.Ultrasound or CTA found luminal dilatation of the distal internal carotid artery. The diameter increased from (2.5 ±0.5) mm to (4.1 ±0.6) mm after intervention (P <0.001).Conclusion Closed-cell stents for carotid artery pseudo-occlusion is safe and effective, decreasing cerebral stroke and carotid occlusion.

Objective:
To compare intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) with venography in the intraoperative evaluation of iliac vein compression syndrome (IVCS).
Methods:
From Sep 2017 to Mar 2018, consecutive patients with suspicious iliac vein compression, underwent both venography and IVUS. The results were compared between IVUS and venography.
Results:
40 patients with 48 limbs were enrolled. Venography underestimated both the diameter and area stenosis compared with IVUS (39.63%±15.48% vs. 64.97%±16.42%,
