1.Applications of ARIMA model on predictive incidence of influenza
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
Objective To explore the application of auto regressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) and establish a predictive model for influenza to forecast the dynamic trend in order to develop the prevention policy scientifically. Methods Samples which caught influenza from 2002 Jan to 2006 Jun in Chongqing city were subjected. SPSS was used to fit ARIMA model, and Q statistic was used to verify the applicability of the model. Results The model of ARIMA(1,1,1) was established. The statistic of Q was smaller than ?2_?(m), verifying the applicability of this model. Conclusion The ARIMA model can be used to analyze the influenza incidence and make a short-term prediction.

Objective To study the meaning of Homocysteine, serum high sensitive C-reactive protein, lipoprotein A and D-two dimer combined detection in the course of coronary heart disease. Methods Select 180 cases suffering from different types of coronary heart disease as group of coronary heart disease,200 healthy people who were in our hospital physical examination qualified over the same period as the control group, all the cases of fasting venous blood was sampled respectively to detect the content of Hcy,hs-CRP,LP(a) and DD.Results Coronary heart disease group of patients with Hcy,hs-CRP,LP(a) and DD levels were significantly higher than those of the control group of healthy persons(t =13.87,10.24,9.86,18.02,P < 0.05),Comparison among different indicators of the patiens with Coronary heart disease:the group of AMI was higher than the group of UAP (t =15.79,9.73,11.47,17.34,all P < 0.05),the group of UAP was higher than the group of SAP (t =16.82,8.14,10.65,18.27,P <0.05),the group of SAP was higher than the group of SMI (t =14.36,10.35,9.98,16.52,P < 0.05).Conclusion Monitoring of Hcy,hs-CRP,LP(a) and DD for coronary heart disease, contributes to the understand of the development of the course of coronary heart disease and assess the risk of coronary heart disease.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is one of the most common inherited cardiovascular diseases and characterized by ventricular hypertrophy and myofibrillar disarrays. HCM affects patients of all ages, but is frequently diagnosed in patients over age 50. The pathology, genetics, diagnosis and treatment of HCM are reviewed.

Journal of Clinical Neurology 1997;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate long-term efficacy and safety of Topiramate in patients with various types of epilepsy. Methods 115 patients with epilepsy were underwent open-label experience with Topiramate as monotherapy or add-on therapy. The efficacy was assessed after 6 months. The rates of seizure-free and Topiramate retention were estimated after 1 and 2 years, and side effect were also evaluated during open-label treatment period. Results (1) After 6 months, total effective rate was 83.9% in monotherapy group and 66.1% in add-on therapy group. Topiramate was proved to be effective on various types of epilepsy, but there were not significant differences in seizure-free rate and total effective rate between the different types. (2) The optimal dosage was ( 105.72?48.28) mg/d in children and ( 176.26?62.81) mg/d in adults. (3) The seizure-free rate was 40.0% at 1 year and 28.7% at 2 years, and retention rate was 67.8% at 1 year and 46.1% at 2 years. (4) Side effects were observed in 34 patients (29.6%), including mild to moderate events related to central nervous system, anorexia and weight decrease. Conclusion Topiramate is a widespread antiepileptic drug with high efficacy and safety for long-term administration.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(10):-
Root stem of Anemarrhena asPhodeloides was extracted with hot water, treated with ethanol and dilutealkali to temove protein. The polysaccharide thus obtained was given to mice by gastric gavage. Result showedthat the polysaccharide can marked1y lower the blood sugar and liver glycogen of mice without affecting bloodlipid level. When given intraperitoneally, it also showed hypoglycemic activity- For alloxan diabetic mice, thepolysaccharide can also markedly lower its b1ood sugar by gastric gavage.
9.Survey on aspirin application and ischemic stroke recurrence among elderly patients in Shanghai community hospitals
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the application status of aspirin for secondary prevention among elderly patients with ischemic stroke in some community hospitals in Shanghai, and explore the main causes for inappropriate use of aspirin and the effect of aspirin on the prevention of ischemic stroke recurrence. Methods The cross-sectional investigation was employed, and 223 patients from 10 community hospitals of Shanghai were divided into regularly-received aspirin group(n=98) and irregularly-received aspirin group(n=125).The application status of aspirin was investigated and the relationship between aspirin application and ischemic stroke recurrence was explored. Results Fifty-one cases in irregularly-received aspirin group(40.80%) stopped aspirin use or reduced the dose due to possible adverse effects, which accounted for 22.87% of the total population investigated, and 42 cases in irregularly-received aspirin group(33.60%)were never suggested to use aspirin or only used traditional Chinese medicine. The rate of ischemic stroke recurrence was 30.61%(30 cases) in regularly-received aspirin group, and 49.60%(62 cases) in irregularly-received aspirin group, which existed significant differences between these two group(P

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2013;33(9):1079-1081
Objective To evaluate the effects of dexmedetomidine on lidocaine-induced apoptosis in rat cortical neurons. Methods The cortical neurons obtained from Sprague-Dawley fetal rats were seeded in 24 multiwell plates at a density of 1 × 105 cells/ml,and the cortical neurons of 80 wells were randomly divided into 4 groups (n =20 each):control group (group C),lidocaine group (group L),dexmedetomidine group (group D) and lidocaine + dexmedetomidine group (group L+ D).The cells were cultured routinely in group C.The cells were exposed to lidocaine with a final concentration of 1 mmol/L in group L.The cells were exposed to dexmedetomidine with a final concentration of 3 μmol/L in group D.The cells were exposed to lidocaine and dexmedetomidine with the final concentrations of 1 mmol/L and 3 μmol/L,respectively,in group L + D.After 4 h incubation, the neurons were subjected to DAPI staining for detection of apoptosis, and the apoptosis rate was calculated.Western blot analysis was used to measure the expression of phosphorylated Akt (p-Akt),Akt and caspase-3.Results Compared with group C,the apoptosis rate was significantly increased, the expression of p-Akt was down-regulated,and the expression of caspase-3 was up-regulated in L and L + D groups (P < 0.05),while no significant changes were found in the indexes mentioned above in group D (P > 0.05).Compared with group L,the apoptosis rate was significantly decreased, the expression of p-Akt was up-regulated,and the expression of caspase-3 was down-regulated in L + D group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the expression of Akt between the four groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can reduce lidocaine-induced apoptosis in rat cortical neurons, and activation of Akt may be involved in the underlying mechanism.
