4.The efficacy of 89 dilated cardiomyopathy cases treated by the carvedilol
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2014;21(8):1152-1153
Objective To analyse the therapeutic effect of Carvedilol in patients with severe heart failure. Methods The clinical data of 89 Carvedilol patients treated with dilated cardiomyopathy were retrospective analysis. Results The overall therapeutic effective rate was 98.88%,because of one death related to discontinued use of medication. Before and after treatment, systolic left ventricular cavity diameter (LVDD) were (68.25 ± 2.15) mm,(56.89 ±4.21) mm,respectively, and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) were (28.63 ±0.33)%,(40.56 ±3.98) %,respectively, there were significantly differences (t =7.215,16.877,all P < 0.05).Conclusion Carvedilol is the cornerstone in the drug treatments of patients with dilated cardiomyopathy.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of endovascular interventional minimally invasive techniques in treatment of acute brachial artery injury. Methods A retrospective case series study was designed to analyzed data of 16 cases (11 males and 5 females) sustaining acute brachial artery injury treated from March 2011 to August 2016.Mean age was 47.9 years (range,27-66 years).Left upper extremity vascular injury occurred in 7 cases and right upper extremity vascular injury occurred in 9.There were 13 cases of arterial intima injury and 3 of arterial pseudoaneurysm. All patients underwent endovascular therapy including stent implantation and balloon dilatation.Angiography was used to evaluate the repair of brachial artery and the operation time was recorded.Improvements of distal limb arterial pulse and limb ischemic symptoms were observed, and the patients who were followed up with stent lumen stenosis more than 50% received endovascular treatment again. Results The procedures was successful in all patients, with operation time of 30-75 minutes (mean,45 minutes). After the insertion of a stent, recovered brachial artery blood flow and disappeared pseudoaneurysm were observed on angiography, without occurrence of stent stenosis or contrast extravasation.Symptoms of local pain and numbness were alleviated, and blood supply of the distal brachial artery was improved after operation. All patients were followed up for 3-36 months(mean,16.7 months). The false aneurysm did not recur. Two cases of stent stenosis more than 50% had a second balloon dilation procedure and the blood flow returned to normal.Stent patency was found in 14 cases with stent stenosis of less than 50%.During the follow-up period,no ischemic necrosis, displacement of the stent or stent fracture were found. Conclusion For acute brachial artery injury, endovascular management exhibits higher technical success rate and good clinical outcome with a low incidence of complications.

Considering the World Health Organization's classification of Helicobacter pylori as a definite (class I ) carci- nogen, the relationship between oral microbial community and tumors is gaining increased interest. This review focused on three relationships between oral microbiota and tumors, i.e., between oral Helicobacter pylori infection and gastric tumors, between oral microbiota and oral squamous cell carcinoma, and between human immunodeficiency virus and tumors. The aims were to realize the early diagnosis of tumors with oral microbiota and support studies on treatment development.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1997;0(11):-
Objective: To study clinical pharmacodynamics and efficacy for endotracheal intubation of rocuronium and succinylcholine at different dosage. Method: Sixty adult patients under general anesthesia according to the different drugs and dosage, were randomly divided into four groups. In groupⅠorⅡ,2 or 3?ED_(95) rocuronium were administrated, and in group Ⅲ and Ⅳ, 2 or 3?ED_(95) succinylcholine were given respectively. The course of depression and recovery of twitch response of the adductor pollicis muscle were recorded, and intubating condition were assessed. Result:The intubation condition was excellent in all patients of group Ⅱ,but only in 20% of group Ⅲ.The degree of twitch at maximal depression was similar between all groups. The lag time and the time of twitch reaching maximal depression were not significantly different between group Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ, which were shorter than those of groupⅠ.The times of twitch recovery to 25% and 95% of baseline in groupⅠor Ⅳ were significantly longer than in groupⅠor Ⅲ, respectively. Conclusion: 3?ED_(95) rocuronium has similar onset time to 2 or 3?ED_(95) succinylcholine with the excellent intubation condition, but the clinical effective duration is more longer than that of 2?ED_(95) rocuronium.
