OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for simultaneous determination of gallic acid, protocatechuic acid, catechuic acid, corilagin and brevifolincarboxylic acid in Geranium carolinianum. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Won-daSil C18 WR with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.1% Phosphoric acid(gradient elution)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 280 nm,the column temperature was 40 ℃,and the volume injection was 20 μl. RESULTS:The linear range was 0.02-20.02 for gallic acid(r=0.999 9),0.01-20.10 for protocatechuic acid(r=0.999 7),0.02-19.78 for catechuic acid(r=0.999 6), 0.02-20.02 for corilagin(r=0.999 9)and 0.02-20.10 for brevifolincarboxylic acid(r=0.999 5);RSDs of precision, stability and re-producibility tests were lower than <3.0%;recoveries were 95.1%-100.6%(RSD=2.20%,n=6),95.8%-100.6%(RSD=1.74%,n=6),95.1%-101.9%(RSD=2.71%,n=6),97.7%-103.1%(RSD=2.04%,n=6)and 95.3%-99.0%(RSD=1.46%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple, accurate and reproducible, and can be used for the contents determination of gallic ac-id,protocatechuic acid, catechuic acid, corilagin and brevifolincarboxylic acid in G. carolinianum.

Total hip arthroplasty (THA) is a well developed technique to which the spatial orientation of acetabular component is crucial. Since the idea of "safe zone" being proposed, such idea has long been obeyed by hip surgeons but has also been challenged in recent years. This is because post-operative instability could happen even if acetabular components are placed within "safe zone" . The latest researches have demonstrated that sagittal spinal balance and spino-pelvic mobility can affect the spatial orientation of acetabular components. Factors including spinal degenerative changes, long lumbosacral changes and spinal ankyloses can lead to sagittal spinal imbalance and/or influence spino-pelvic mobility, which subsequently affect pelvic retroversion. Proper pelvic retroversion is a way to compensate for sagittal spinal imbalance and is beneficial to post-operative stability. It is necessary for hip surgeons to rethink "safe zone" before performing THA and understand spinal balance as well as spinopelvic mobility. The goal is to reduce the rate of dislocation. This review started by introducing the related spinopelvic parameters frequently seen in papers published recently and the definitions of acetabular cup orientations. After the spinal sagittal balance and its compensatory mechanisms session, discussed its clinical relevance, as well as the significance of spinal mobility, in spinopelvic motion under three different postures.

Objective:
To investigate the diagnostic value of serum miRNAlet-7a in laryngeal carcinoma and the effect of let-7a on proliferation and apoptosis of laryngeal carcinoma cells.
Methods:
Real-time quantitative PCR was used to determine the expression level of serum miRNAlet-7a. The miRNA let-7a mimetic was synthesized and transiently transfected into the laryngeal carcinoma Hep-2 cell line by cationic liposome method. The effects of up-regulation of let-7a expression on laryngeal cancer Hep-2 cells were detected by FCM and MTT assays, respectively. The association of let-7a levels with laryngeal cancer and the diagnostic value for laryngeal cancer were analyzed. Measurement data were taken by

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of mumps in Guangxi from 2011 to 2019, and to provide a scientific basis for formulating effective prevention and control strategies. Methods Descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze the incidence data of mumps in Guangxi from 2011 to 2019. Results From 2011 to 2019, a total of 146,132 cases of mumps were reported in Guangxi, with an average annual incidence rate of 34.23 /100 000. There were 88,919 male cases (60.85%) and 57,213 female cases (39.15%). The incidence rate decreased from 62.26/100 000 in 2011 to 16.46/100 000 in 2015, and increased from 18.60/100 000 in 2016 to 46.90/100 000 in 2019. There were seasonal variations in the incidence, with the incidence peaks occurring from April to July and from October to the following January. 85.39% of cases were under 15 years of age, and 76.82% of cases were among kindergarteners or school children. A total of 228 mumps outbreaks were reported during 2011-2019,including 5,347 cases, accounting for 3.66% of the total cases. The incidence rates of mumps in Nanning (56.09/100 000), Hechi (48.26/100 000), Liuzhou (46.77/100 000), Baise (46.34/100 000) and Fangchenggang (40.68/100,000) were relatively higher than other places. Conclusion The mumps incidence is on an upward trend in Guangxi since 2015-2019, occurring mainly in older children or students. It is suggested to adhere to the second dose of mumps containing vaccine for kindergarten and school children and strengthen the surveillance and outbreak control of mumps in schools.
