Objective To investigate the effect of mouse nerve growth factor on humoral immunity in children with severe hand foot mouth disease. Methods 92 patients with severe hand foot mouth disease were selected from June 2010 to September 2012 in the hospital, and randomly divided into two groups. The indexes of blood cell analysis, humoral immunity, cytokines and T lymphocyte subsets were compared after treatment. Results After treatment, compared with control group, the numeration white blood cell, neutrophil and lymphocyte of observation group were lower (P<0.05), IgM, IgG and IgA were higher (P<0.05), IL-1, IL-6 and IL-10 were lower (P<0.05), CD4 +and CD8 +were higher (P<0.05).Conclusion Mouse nerve growth factor can significantly improve the each index of humoral immunity cytokines and T lymphocyte subsets level in children with hand foot mouth disease, which has the great significance in clinical.

Objective To investigate effect of Xuebijing injection on Th1/2, endotoxin and immune factors in patients with acute sepsis. Methods 110 cases of sepsis patients were selected and divided into two groups from September 2014 to January 2015.The control group of 55 cases were treated by clinical routine therapy, the experiment group of 55 cases were treated with Xuebijing injection on the basis of control group.Hemodynamics, serum Th1/2, endotoxin and specific immunological function of spleen were compared. Results After treatment, the heart rate of experiment group was significantly lower than control group (P<0.05), the mean arterial pressure and central venous pressure were higher than control group (P<0.05), vasoconstrictive drugs application amount was less than control group ( P<0.05 ) , the ratio of Th1/Th2 was higher than control group ( P<0.05 ) , serum endotoxin levels was lower than control group (P<0.05), and the ratio of HLA-DR, lymphocyte proliferation and positive index of caspase-3 cells were lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Xuebijing injection can effectively improve haemodynamics in patients with sepsis, regulate serum Th1/Th2 levels, reduce serum endotoxin level and enhance specific immune function of spleen, which has important significance for clinical treatment of sepsis.

Objective To explore if only single-phase enhanced CT can be used for pre-treatment staging of hypopharyngeal and laryngeal carcinoma. Methods The double phase enhanced CT images in 47 cases with hypopharyngeal or alryngeal carcinoma were retrospectively studied.CT number of tumor, vocal cord and sternocleidomastoideus muscle was measured on plain,early-phase,and late-phase enhanced CT scan, and the definition of tumor margins, small-vessel artifacts and mucous artifacts was recorded. The effective radiation dose of patients was calculated for 16DCT and HCT according to dose-length product (DLP).Results There was no significant difference between the density of tumor and the vocal cord on plain CT scan. There were more mucous artifacts and/or small-vessel artifacts in early-phase enhanced CT images. The definition of tumor margin in late-phase enhanced CT image was better than or almost same as that in early-phase enhanced CT image. The effective radiation dose with 16DCT was 1.5 times to that with HCT at the same scanning range. Conclusion Only late-phase enhanced CT imaging is recommended to be performed for the staging of hypopharyngeal or laryngeal carcinoma, and it will reduce the effective radiation dose received by patients.
