Objective To explore the changes of amplitude integrated electroencephalogram (aEEG) during brain development in premature.Methods One hundred and forty-eight premature (gestational age 28-36 weeks) were selected.According to their gestational ages,148 premature were divided into 28-30 weeks group(40 cases),with 21 male,19 female;＞30-33 weeks group (49 cases),with 25 male,24 female;＞33-36 weeks group (59 cases),33 male,26 female.At the same time,40 cases of gestational age 37-40 weeks full-term newborns were selected as control group,with 23 male,17 female.Olympic CFM 6000 cerebral function monitor(produced by the American Natus company) was used to detect the changes of their aEEG,and analysis of the changes of aEEG were conducted.The first monitor was performed 3 days after birth,then once a week,monitoring for 2 hours each time,till the premature were discharged from hospital.The average of the monitoring data was obtained as a result for the analysis,and data analysis was conducted by using SAS 9.0 statistical software.Results The sleep-wake cycle continuity voltage positive rate and cycle occurrence rate of the 28-30 weeks,＞ 30-33 weeks,＞ 33-36 weeks premature were significantly lower than those of the 37-40 weeks full-term newborns (all P ＜ 0.05).The 28-30 weeks,＞ 30-33 weeks,＞ 33-36 weeks premature spectrun lower bound voltage value of quiet sleep cycle and activity sleep cycle were significantly lower than those of the 37-40 weeks full-term newborns (all P ＜ 0.05).The 28-30 weeks,＞ 30-33 weeks,＞ 33-36 weeks premature spectrum width of quiet sleep cycle and activity sleep cycle were significantly wider than the 37-40 weeks full-term newborns (F =13.444,11.982,all P ＜ 0.05).The 28-30 weeks,＞ 30-33 weeks,＞ 33-36 weeks premature total duration of sleep cycle were significantly higher than the 37-40 weeks full-term newborns (F =12.451,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions With the increase of gestational age,premature brain development becomes gradually mature,and aEEG can reflect the degree of premature brain development to some extent.

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of different doses of atorvastatin in the treatment of chronic heart failure.Methods:A total of 100 patients with chronic heart failure who received treatment in the Third People's Hospital of Bengbu Medical College from June 2019 to June 2020 were included in this study. They were randomly divided into a control group (conventional treatment + atorvastatin calcium tablet 10 mg, n = 49) and an observation group (conventional treatment + atorvastatin calcium tablet 20 mg, n = 51). Before and after 12 weeks of treatment, serum levels of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and inflammatory cytokines such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-10 (IL-10) as well as ventricular remodeling (echocardiographic index) were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, serum level of NT-proBNP was (506.56 ± 62.37) pg/mL and (660.85 ± 74.55) pg/mL, serum level of hs-CRP was (14.74 ± 2.69) mg/L and (23.31 ± 3.45) mg/L, serum level of IL-6 was (36.77 ± 4.78) ng/L and (43.12 ± 5.22) ng/L, serum level of IL-10 was (12.36 ± 2.63) ng /L and (15.39 ± 3.56) ng/L, left ventricular end diastolic diameter was (37.74 ± 6.83) mm and (42.36 ± 7.73) mm, left ventricular ejection fraction was (45.78 ± 3.31)% and (42.63 ± 2.56)%, and the ratio of early (E wave) to late (A wave) diastolic velocities (E/A) was (1.44 ± 0.06) and (1.21 ± 0.03), respectively in the observation and control groups. There were significant differences in serum levels of NT-proBNP, hs-CRP, IL-6 and IL-10 as well as LVEDD and LVEF between the observation and control groups ( t = 3.73, 3.07, 3.58, 3.68, 2.99, 3.12 and 2.98, all P < 0.05). Conclusion:Atorvastatin is beneficial to the prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure. The therapeutic efficacy of 20 mg atorvastatin per day is better than that of 10 mg atorvastatin per day.

Objective To study the effect of trachea intubation and mechanical ventilation on the prognosis and discharge rate of patients with successful cardiac-pulmonary resuscitation.Method The clinical data of 389 patients,who were admitted from January 2005 to February 2007,were retrospectively analyzed.The relation between trachea intubation time and discharge rate was studied.According to the time from cardiac arrest to finishing trachea intubation,patients were divided into group A (within 3 minutes,n=209) and group B (over 3 minutes,n=143);according to the time from reaching emergency medicine department to finishing trachea intubation,the rest patients were divided into group C (within 5 minutes,n=9) and group D (over 5 minutes, n=38) minutes.The discharge rate was calculated between groups.The software of SPSS 11.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results The successful rate was 9.75% (389/3988),and 59 patients were discharged, with discharge rate 1.48% (59/3988).The discharge rate of group A was 19.62% (41/209),and was significantly higher than that of group B 6.99 % (10/143) (P

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of unilateral pedicle screw fixation in treating thoracolumbar fractures through paraspinal approach.

METHODSFrom January 2006 to January 2009,21 patients with single level thoracolumbar fracture without neurological symptoms were treated with unilateral pedicle screw fixation through paraspinal approach. There were 14 males and 7 females,aged from 21 to 65 years old with a mean of 36.4 years. The duration from injury to operation ranged from 6 h to 5 d with an average of 3 d. According to the classification of Denis fracture, compression fractures happedned in 12 cases and burst fractures happened in 9 cases,including 1 case with T5 fracture, 2 cases with T7 fracture, 2 cases with T10 fracture, 3 cases with T11 fracture, 8 cases with T12 fracture, and 5 cases with L1 fracture. Based on the Flankel grade, all patients were classified as grade E. Anterior vertebral body height ratio, sagittal Cobb angle, condition of internal fixation failure, visual analogue score (VAS) were evaluated.

RESULTSAll patients were followed up from 12 to 36 months with an average of 20.5 months. No internal fixation failure was found. Anterior vertebral body height ratios at preoperative 3 days after operation and last follow-up were 54.3 +/- 2.8, 92.9 +/- 1.5, 93.8 +/- 1.7, respectively;sagittal Cobb angle at the three timepoints were (27.8 +/- 2.5) degrees, (5.3 +/- 0.8) degrees, (6.3 +/- 1.4) degrees, respectively; the difference was statistical significant (P < 0.05). VAS was (1.2 +/- 0.4) points at last follow-up and had obviously improved (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONTreatment of thoracolumbar fractures with unilateral pedicle screw fixation through paraspinal approach is safe with the advantages of micro-trauma and less blood loss,which can not only completely retain the posterior spinal complex structure, reinforce the spinal stability, raise the reductional quality, but also improve the strength of fixation and the distribution of stress force.

Objective To investigate a special optimization technique for computer aided measure, and provide anatomical basis for screw internal fixation in the cavitas glenoidalis through the coracoid process of scapula. Methods Thirty accurate scapula models were reconstructed from CT data sets. First, special optimization objective function was designed for single screw internal fixation configuration, and the optimal placement of screw was found automatically under constraints. Then, the placements of double screws internal fixation configuration were searched taking advantage of principal component analysis. Finally, statistical measure data were provided according to new anatomical reference landmarks for clinical use. Results For single screw internal fixation configuration, the distance from the optimal screw entry point P to the acromion process point X was (39.15±2.28) mm, to the coracoid process point Y was (28.66±2.68) mm, to the angulus superior point Z was (61.13±6.57) mm;The angle was (81.27±7.15)° between PX and PY, and (133.27±6.84)° between PX and PZ. The mean inclination of the lag screw was (104.08±4.41)° for the angle with line PX, (101.29±3.51)° with line PY, and (76.23±5.03)° with line PZ. For double screws configuration, the distance from the original single screw entry point P to the screw entry point E was (5.12±1.37)mm,to the screw entry point F was (3.88±0.94)mm. The angle between the long axis of coracoid process and line EF was (27.41±3.51)°. Conclusion The automatic optimization technique for computer aided measure is very efficient and has many advantages over the conventional manual dissection methods, and is convenient to design new anatomical reference landmark system for clinical use.

Two fragments G1 and G2 of the glycoprotein G gene of bovine respiratory syncytial virus(BRSV) were selected for expression in Escherichia coli based on the analysis of glycoprotein G by DNA Star software.Then the two fragments of glycoprotein G were amplified by PCR with synthesized G gene of BRSV as the template.The amplified fragments G1 and G2 are 570bp and 308bp in length,respectively.The PCR products were cloned into pET30a vector and expressed in soluble form in E.coli after induction of cultured E.coli with IPTG.Both of the recombinant proteins G1 and G2 were purified by immobilized Ni ion affinity chromatography under native conditions.Then the purified proteins were analysed by Western blotting.The results showed that the purified recombinant protein G1 retained good antigenicity and specificity.But the purified recombinant protein G2 didn't possess biological activity.Antibodies against BRSV were detected in suspected bovine serum samples in China by using indirect ELISA and Western blotting with the purified recombinant protein G1.The purified recombinant protein G1 might be used as antigen for establishing serological methods for diagnosis of BRSV infection.And the purified recombinant protein G1 might also be used for preparing polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies for research on biological functions of glycoprotein G of BRSV.
