1.Neuroprotective effect of heme oxygenase-1 induced by hemin in the brain of rats suffered from ischemia-reperfusion injury
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(17):-
Objective To investigate the neuroprotective effect of heme oxygenase-1 induced by hemin on the rat brain after ischemia-reperfusion. Methods The global cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model in 48 Wistar rats was surgically prepared by four-vessel occlusion method (4-VO) and another 8 rats underwent sham-operation as normal control. Hemin was injected over 5 min at the lateral ventricle at 15 min, 24 h and 48 h after reperfusion in 24 ischemia-reperfusion rat models and normal saline was applied to another 24 rat models at the same time points as negative control. The effect of hemin was evaluated on the pathologic outcome and on the immuohistochemical reaction for HO-1 after 10-minute global cerebral ischemia followed by 24 h, 48 h and 72 h reperfusion. Results The peak level of HO-1-like immunoreactivity was found at 48 h after the reperfusion as compared with the matched rats in normal saline group (P
2.A systematic review of argument on the correlation between serum uric acid level and Parkinson's disease
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2015;24(1):88-91
Objective To review the correlation between serum uric acid (UA) level and Parkinson's disease(PD) based on the papers published from 2004 to 2014 at home and abroad, with an attempt to provide new ideas for the early diagnosis and disease evaluation of PD.Methods Major online database including PubMed,CNKI,and Wan Fang date bases were searched in March 2014.The key words we used are uric acid,Parkinson' s disease and so on.Results Totally 28 studies were enrolled, the analysis showed there were argument on the correlation UA and PD,the effect of uarthritis on PD and the effect of antiparkison drugs on UA.Conclusion It is testified in most studies that UA level is obviously lower in PD patients. The variation of UA perhaps affects the morbidity, condition and non-motor symptom among patients with PD.However, the studies are limited by the research methods 、the public surveyed and other factors.
3.Clinical characteristics and therapeutic strategy of severe craniocerebral injury in children
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2014;29(6):413-415
The chance of craniocerebral injury in children is high.Severe craniocerebral injury is still the difficult point in current clinical treatment.Children severe head trauma is different from adults. It is characteristic of severe primary injury, rapid progressing secondary injury, confusing vital signs, less contrecoup injury, high incidence of epilepsy, cerebral ischemia in familiar, and good prognosis. This article focused on 2 hot issues in recent therapeutic strategy of severe craniocerebral injury in children——intracranial pressure monitoring and hypothermia therapy. The former is simple, convenient, safe and practical,is worth popularizing widely.
4.Automatic infant brain segmentation based on diffusion tensor imaging
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2017;33(8):1264-1268
Objective To investigate the feasibility and value of automatic segmentation of infant brain images based on diffusion tensor image (DTI).Methods A method of segmentation of infant brain based on DTI images was proposed. The method was mainly included two stages:①Extracting the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) using the distribution of water;②Extracting the white matter (WM) adopting the anisotropic diffusion of water in neurons, followed by distinguishing the gray matter (GM) component. Results Through the feature selection method designed in this study, the effective DTI feature combination was selected. The first step was to extract CSF with mean diffusity (MD) and the third eigenvalue (L3),and the second step was to extract WM and GM with fractional anisotropy (FA) and the L3.The highest average similarity was obtained by the two steps. The two-step segmentation could be successfully performed in infant brain image segmentation and satisfied with the split effect. Conclusion The automatic segmentation of infant brain based on DTI in this study is reasonable and feasible, and has high segmentation accuracy.
5.Inhibition of glutamine on inflammation of rats with pneumonia induced by Klebsiella pneumonia
Chongqing Medicine 2016;45(33):4622-4624,4628
Objective To explore the inhibition effect of glutamine on the inflammation of rats with pneumonia induced by Klebsiella pneumoniae. Methods Thirty-six SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group, model group and glutamine treatment group. The rat pneumonia model was established by intratracheal instillation of Klebsiella Bacillus pneumonia. Results Compared with the model group, the glutamine treatmernt group could reduce the ratio of W/D(5.98±0.29)vs.(4.32±0.33)(P< 0.05),alleviated the lung tissue edema, inflammatory cell infiltration and then improved the morphology of the lung tissue, inhibited the IL-6,IL-1 and TNF-α secretion in serum and lung homogenate(P<0.05),and inhibited the level of NF-κB p65 and IκBα phosphorylation. Conclusion Glutamine inhibits the inflammation of rats with pneumonia induced by Klebsiella pneumoniae, which might be related to NF-κB signal pathway.
6.Influence of onset and duration of action on addiction potential of abused drugs
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(10):-
The addiction potential of abused drugs can be different although their pharmacodynamics characteristics are quite similar. In this article, the influence of pharmacokinetics characteristics of a drug on its addiction potential was discussed. A more rapid rate of onset had been shown to result in greater propensity to addiction. Although prolonging the duration of action could reduce the responding rate in animal self-administration experiments, it might not influence the strength of a drug. Understanding the relationship between the pharmacokinetics characteristics and addiction potential may contribute to the rational use and development of these kinds of drugs.
7.Application of SWOT analysis in medical equipment maintenance and management
China Medical Equipment 2017;14(4):143-145
Objective: To observe and summarize the routine maintenance situation, and research relevant countermeasure and provide the optimal solution based on the problems in maintenance of medical equipment. Methods: To adopt SWOT method to analyze the problem of equipment maintenance, and make effective countermeasures by using relevant statistical methods. Results: The SWOT method that was applied in maintenance work has improved accuracy of maintenance work for equipment, and increased operation rate of equipment and serviceability rate, at the same time, the satisfied degree of medical staffs and patients has been increased. Conclusion: Through SWOT method to analyze the situation of maintenance for equipment, the work key points can be effectively improved, and the blindness and dead ends of equipment maintenance management can be found. Therefore, this method can reduce the labour intensity of maintenance staffs, increase work efficiency, and provide essential guarantee for medical work of hospital.
8.Analysis of factors of intracranial infection after transnasal endoscopic crannialbase approach.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(20):1544-1546
OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the factors of intracranial infection after transnasal endoscopic crannialbase approach.
METHOD:
Retrospective analysis of 346 patients of ransnasal endoscopic crannialbase approach, logistic regression analysis of the factors was carried out.
RESULT:
The total number of cases of postoperative infections were 19 cases in 346 patients, the infection rate was 5.49%. The cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea , the restitution of skull base, the history of crannialbase approach, the history of radiotherapy and diabetes were infection fators after transnasal endoscopic diabetes (P < 0.05), while sex, age, operative approach, the use of artificial material, longer application of antibiotics before or after operation, and the history of chemotherapy had no obvious effects (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSION
Intracranial infection after transnasal endoscopic the use of artificial material was affected by many factors. Much attention should be paid for the intracranial infection prevention.
