Objective To investigate the effect of nutrition support therapy on quality of life in patients with advanced tumors. Methods 70 patients with advanced tumors were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, each group had 35 cases. The control group was given conservative treatment, together with the ordinary liquid,semi-liquid or diet. The observation group was given nutrition support therapy on the basis of conservative therapy. The nutrition and immune index and symptom score, quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The nutrition, immune indexes (Alb,BMI and NK) and symptom score (malaise, anorexia, insomnia, pain) of the observation group were significantly improved(t =7.92,6.98,5.56,7.41,6.47,5.61,4.52,all P < 0.05),which were significantly better than those of the control group(t =4.42,4.10,4.03,6.42,5.60,4.83,4.23,all P <0.05).The physical function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function score and total score of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (t =8.12,6.08,5.12,4.78,4.32,all P < 0.05).Conclusion Nutrition support therapy can improve the nutritional status of cancer patients in advanced stage, relieve symptoms, improve immune function and quality of life, which is worthy of clinical application.
2.Therapeutic Observation of Intradermal Needle Therapy for Chronic Pharyngitis
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(11):1080-1081
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of intradermal needle therapy in treating chronic pharyngitis.Method Sixty patients with chronic pharyngitis were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by intradermal needle therapy at Lieque (LU 7) and Zhaohai (KI 6), while the control group was by Compound Borax solution plus Cydiodine Buccal tablets. The symptoms were scored before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacies were compared.Result The total effective rate was 93.3% in the treatment group versus 80.0% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The symptom scores were markedly changed after the treatment in both groups (P<0.01). The symptom score of the treatment group was significantly different from that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Intradermal needle therapy is an effective method in treating chronic pharyngitis.
3.Oxidation and isomerous conversion of ?-asarone and borneol in Shenchang Injection
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(06):-
Objective To analyze what will create after oxidation in Shenchang Injection, the oxidated mechanism, and isomerous conversion of ?-asarone and borneol in it. Methods To analyze the sample of Shenchang Injection before and after oxidation by GC-MS and to compare the composition of ?-asarone and borneol before and after sterilization. Results Some of ?-asarone was oxidized and changed to asarylaldehyde (about 0.88%—2.82% of total composition ) and saishinone (about 0.24%—0.46% of total composition), some of the borneol and isoborneol was oxidized and changed to camphor when three samples of Shenchang Injection are oxidized; some of ?-asarone (cis-) change to ?-asarone (trans-, about 1%—2%), (7.85?7.27)% of the isoborneol (cis-) changed to borneol (trans-) when sterilized at 100 ℃ for 30 min. Conclusion ?-Asarone and borneol in Shenchang Injection are involved in the oxidated reaction and have isomerous conversion after high pressure sterilization.
4.The clinical progress of antisense technology in the treatment of cancer
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(12):-
According to the base complementation, the principle antisense technology is the sequence specific binding of complementary antisense nucleic acids or their chemical modification to the nucleic acids in cells, resulting in the suppression or prevention of gene translation. For the treatment of cancer, a lot of antisense drugs have been designed, which target the genes involved in the pathogenesis of cancer. And some of them have been in clinical trials. The author reviewed the progress of the clinical trials of these antisense drugs.
5.HPLC fingerprint analysis of Herba pogostemonis
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(12):-
AIM: To establish the method of fingerprint analysis in Herba pogostemonis by HPLC. METHODS: HPLC with Hypersil ODS column was used, taking Methanol-0.05% phosphoric acid(gradient elution)as a mobile phase and detection wavelength was set at 270nm. RESULTS: 26 peaks were separated on HPLC fingerprint in Herba pogostemonis. CONCLUSION: The method is reliable, accurate and can be used as a quality control method for Herba pogostemonis.
6.Methodology for HPLC fingerprint analysis on fruits of Amomum villosum
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(08):-
Objective To establish the method of fingerprint analysis on the fruits of Amomum villosum by HPLC and work out the characteristic fingerprint of methanol extracts in the fruits of A.villosum from Yangchun,Guangdong Province as index component which could be used for the accumulation of data to evaluate the inner quality of the fruits of A.villosum.Methods HPLC with Nucleodur C18 Gravity column was used, the methanol-2% acetic acid(gradient elution)as a mobile phase, detection wavelength at 260 nm,column temperature was 30 ℃,and flow rate was 1.0 mL/min.ResultsCommon peaks(20)were separated on HPLC fingerprint in A.villosum.The similarities of 18 batches of samples were higher. Conclusion The method is reliable and accurate, has a better reproducibility, and provides a reference for the quality control to the fruits of A.villosum.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(17):-
Objective To investigate the expression of an inhibitor gene of apoptosis, clusterin, in prostate cancer and its relationship with the genesis and progression of prostate cancer and with the expressions of bcl 2 and p53. Methods The expressions of clusterin, bcl 2, and p53 in 10 cases of normal prostatic tissues, 15 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and 49 cases of prostate cancer were examined by immunohistochemical staining. Results The rates of strong positive or weak positive of clusterin in normal prostatic tissues, BPH, and prostate cancer were 10% (1/10), 66.6% (10/15), and 91.8% (45/49), respectively. The expression level of clusterin in prostate cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in normal prostatic tissues ( P
