2.Roles of thrombin in subarachnoid hemorrhage
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2014;22(6):470-473
Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a common cerebrovascular disease. Its morbidity and mortality are higher.Cerebral vasospasm (CVS) and early brain injury (EBI) are the major pathophysiological mechanisms of neurological deficits and death after SAH.Both CVS and EBI are associated with a variety of factors, including nitric oxide, endothelin, thrombin and its receptor, hemoglobin and proinflammatory cytokines.Animal experiments have shown that thrombin is an important causative factor. This article reviews the role of thrombin in SAH.
3.Research on characteristics and clinical applications of EBCT
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(03):-
Objective To master the various characteristics of EBCT and it's applications in clinic in depth. Methods Different scan modes were compared with each other. Results EBCT had the advantage of high speed in scanning and high resolving power of time without mechanical abrasion due to the using of electron beam. Conclusion EBCT is suitable for the examinations of cardiovascular system, and moving organs and uncooperative patients, and also for the application to CT fluoroscopy.
4.Analysis and research of factors influencing the quality of EBCT images
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
Quality assurance of EBCT images is especially important in clinic. Factors influencing the quality of images are so variable and complex that comprehensive consideration should be paid to them. The analyses and researches for such factors as surrounding background, machine's inherent property and scanning parameters are made separately.
5.Automatic infant brain segmentation based on diffusion tensor imaging
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2017;33(8):1264-1268
Objective To investigate the feasibility and value of automatic segmentation of infant brain images based on diffusion tensor image (DTI).Methods A method of segmentation of infant brain based on DTI images was proposed. The method was mainly included two stages:①Extracting the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) using the distribution of water;②Extracting the white matter (WM) adopting the anisotropic diffusion of water in neurons, followed by distinguishing the gray matter (GM) component. Results Through the feature selection method designed in this study, the effective DTI feature combination was selected. The first step was to extract CSF with mean diffusity (MD) and the third eigenvalue (L3),and the second step was to extract WM and GM with fractional anisotropy (FA) and the L3.The highest average similarity was obtained by the two steps. The two-step segmentation could be successfully performed in infant brain image segmentation and satisfied with the split effect. Conclusion The automatic segmentation of infant brain based on DTI in this study is reasonable and feasible, and has high segmentation accuracy.
6.Research of generation mechanism and compensation techniques of MRI artifacts
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(07):-
Objective To verify the usefulness of the corresponding compensation techniques for MRI artifacts after analyzing their generation mechanism. Methods Different compensation techniques were used to eliminate relative artifacts from the angle of improving background, calibrating software and hardware, editing parameters or instructing patients in scanning the patient or phantom with 1.0TMR and 1.5TMR. Results Artifacts were controlled to different extents and the quality of most MR images were improved. Conclusion Most artifacts can be eliminated completely by the use of corresponding compensation techniques while some others only be reduced a little or shifted.
7.Analysis of influencing factors and preventive measures for RF field artifacts in MR images
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(09):-
Objective To verify whether it is useful to apply the corresponding preventive measures for the radio frequency(RF) field artifacts in MR images by the research of their influencing factors. Methods Preventive measures were taken according to the factors producing RF field artifacts in MR images. Results Various RF field artifacts in MR images were reduced, shifted or even eliminated completely. Conclusion Most RF field artifacts in MR images can be controlled by the application of the relative preventive measures.
8.Development and application of workload statistic software in medical imaging department
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To evaluate the application effect of workload statistic software. Methods According to the actual workflow of the hospital and concrete management index sign, the workload of statistics procedure was designed using Dephi7.0.Results "Comprehensive Management System in Medical Imaging Department" run stable and accurate. What's more, its functions greatly facilitated workload statistics. Conclusion The system plays an important role in excellent workflow, exaltation of work efficiency, reasonable allotment of manpower and material resources, etc.
9.Clinic application of fMRI software
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(10):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical value of fMRI software. Methods Patients were scanned with the corresponding fMRI software to observe the change of imaging signals in tissue's functional zone. Results The signals in the relative functional zone of tissues varied with their functions.Consulation fMRI software has great value in such clinical applications as tissue physiology, biochemistry and metabolism functions.
