China Pharmacy 2015;26(33):4657-4659
OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and safety of vitamin B12 combined with mouse nerve growth factor in the treatment of neurogenic tinnitus. METHODS:270 patients with neurogenic tinnitus were randomly divided into control group 1, control group 2 and observation group. Control group 1 was treated with Vitamin B12 injection 25 μg by intramuscular injection, once a day;control group 2 was treated with mouse nerve growth factor 18 μg adding into 2 ml water for injection for dissolution, once a day;observation group was treated with Vitamin B12 injection 25 μg(the usage was the same as control group 1)+mouse nerve growth factor 18 μg(the usage was the same as control group 2). 6 d was a treatment course, and it lasted 2 courses. Clinical efficacy, and sleep SPIEGEL score and incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment in 3 groups were observed. RE-SULTS:Total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than control group 1 and control group 2,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);however,there was no significant difference between control group 1 and control group 2 (P>0.05). After treatment, sleep SPIEGEL score in 3 groups was significantly higher than before, and observation group was high-er than control group 1 and control group 2,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);however,there was no signifi-cant difference between control group 1 and control group 2(P>0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions during treatment. CONCLUSIONS:Vitamin B12 combined with mouse nerve growth factor has better efficacy than only vitamin B12 or mouse nerve growth factor in the treatment of neurogenic tinnitus, with good safety.
2.Comparison of Blood Platelet Counts between Children with Cerebral Palsy and Healthy Children
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(10):846-846
ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between the changes of the blood platelet counts (BPC) in children with cerebral palsy (CP) and pather mechanism of CP in traditional Chinese medicine.MethodsBPCs of CP children and healthy children were analyzed with statistical method.ResultsThe BPC of CP children was higher than that of the healthy children ( P<0.05).ConclusionThe BPC of CP children is higher than that of the healthy children, and this is consistent with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine about pathogenic mechanism of CP that CP is related to blood stasis.

Objective To investigate freshmen's prevalence of depression disorder and to analyse the in-fluential factors on depression in military colleges. Methods Depression, self-consciousness, coping style, per-sonality feature, birth background and other factors were investigated by MMPI and related questionnaires in 683 freshmen of military colleges. Results The prevalence of depression disorder was 3.66% ; $i, Dy, Ne mean scores of freshmen with depression disorder were significantly higher than without depression disorder(t= 5. 348,3. 879,2. 997 ) (P<0.05, P<0.01)), otherwise, Do, Pc , PEI ones were significantly lower than without depres-sion disorder( t= -2.171, -2.602, -2.62) (P<0.05, P<0.01);D mean score of all subjects was significant-ly related to Si, Dy, Do, Nc, PEI,Pe(r=0.600,0.465, -0.356,0. 240, -0. 353, -0. 146) (P<0.05, P<0.01 ). And also Si,Do,Pc,Nc got into regression quotation. Condusion Freshmen's depression is associated with their personalities, coping style and self-consciousness, however, their personalities, coping style were most important pre-dictors.

Objective To evaluate the treatment of supra-condylar fractures of the humerus (12-B1.2 by AO classification) with a unilateral external fixator. Methods From 2003 to 2006,28 cases of supra-condylar fractures of the humerus were treated with a unilateral external fixator. They were 15 males and 13 females. Their average age was 43 (24 to 58) years old. They were all closed fractures and 2 cases complicated with radial nerve injury. Results All were followed up for an average of 28 (12 to 54) months. All fractures united with an average healing time of 4.5 months. The 2 cases of radial nerve injury recovered completely. Five cases had infection of pin holes. The patients had an average elbow score (Money and Bryan system) of 97 and an average shoulder score (Constant and Murley system) of 98. Conclusion The unilateral external fixator is appropriate for supra-condylar fractures of the humerus ( 12-B1.2 by AO classification),because it provides not only effective fixation but also early functional rehabilitation.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2016;29(10):1111-1115
Notch signaling is an important evolutionarily conserved pathway involving the fate of cells translation. Additional?ly, this pathway also plays an important role in cartilage formation and maintenance of chondrocytes phenotype, regulation of the prolif?eration, maturation and balance of cartilage matrix metabolism. This paper reviews the composition and activation process of notch sig?naling, and its specific role in cartilage formation.

Objective To evaluate the effect of segmental pulmonary veins isolation for atrial fibrillation (AF) and investigate the possible factors that may affect its result. Methods In 120 (105 men; age 50.0?8.6 years) consecutive patients with paroxysmal (n=99) or persistent (n=21) AF, segmental PVs electrical isolation with Lasso mapping catheters was performed. The relationship of the outcome of the initial procedure and factors such as age, sex, type of AF, left atrial diameter, case history, left ventricular ejection fraction and presence of hypertension were analyzed by statistical methods. Results 52 (52.5%) out of the 99 patients with paroxysmal AF and 6 (28.5%) out of the 21 with persistent AF were free of AF after a single ablation procedure. Univariate analysis revealed that left atrial enlargement (P=0.001), persistent AF (P=0.046) and old age (P=0.047) were related to the recurrence of AF after the first procedure. Patients with paroxysmal AF apparently had a better outcome than those with persistent AF after repeat ablation but of no statistical significance (P=0.094). Logistic regression analysis revealed that left atrial enlargement was the only independent risk factor of recurrent AF after the first procedure. Conclusion About 50% of the patients with paroxysmal AF are free of AF after single ablation. Left atrial enlargement is the only independent risk factor of recurrent AF while old age and persistent AF influence the outcome of the first procedure.

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 2003;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the molecular mechanisms of delayed ischemic preconditioning (IPC) and doxorubicin preconditioning (DPC) to induce ischemic tolerance. Methods The models of sham-operation and orthotopic liver transplantation in the Wistar rats was used. IPC was administered with a 10-min ischemia followed by a 10-min reperfusion. Animals in the DPC group were pretreatd with Doxorubicin (1?mg/kg, iv). The control rats were subjected to saline treatment. The induction of HSP70 and HO-1 protein ( Western blot), the expression of ICAM-1 transcripts (RT-PCR)and ICAM-1 protein (immunohistochemistry), the activities of serum AST, ALT, LDH, and liver myeloperoxidase (MPO) , liver wet-to-dry weight ratios (W/D) were assessed. Results HO-1 expression was maximally induced at 12?h after IPC, and hardly changed until 48?h. A strong induction of HSP70 was detected at about 24 to 72?h after IPC. The levels of HO-1 and HSP70 were obviously elevated at 24?h after IPC or DPC as compared with the control ( P 0.05 ). In the control group, the transcription of ICAM-1 was significantly increased 6?h after reperfusion. Capillary endothelial cells of the livers strongly expressed ICAM-1. Activities of liver MPO were obviously elevated. IPC and DPC could significantly decrease the transcription of ICAM-1 in the livers in concurrence with the expression of ICAM-1 protein as well as the activity of MPO at 6?h after reperfusion ( P
10.Changes of ghrelin and leptin levels in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome before and after treatment of continuous positive airways pressure
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(13):-
30,BMI≥25 kg?m -2 ),who were admitted to the hospital from Apr.2004 to Sep.2005,were induded in the study. They underwent CPAP.The PSG and leptin, ghrelin, true insulin, fasting blood glucose are measured before the treatment, and one week and six months after the treatment. Results After one week, there was a little decrease of leptin and ghrelin, and no change in true insulin and fasting blood glucose. After six months, only 16 patients improved a lot in AHI and hypoxemia. There was significant decrase of leptin and ghrelin and also a change of true insulin. Conclusion These data indicate that the elevated leptin and ghrelin levels are not determined by obesity alone, since they decrease during CPAP therapy. The glucose metabolic disturbance and insulin resistance in OSAS are improved after 6 months of CPAP therapy. Therefore,we can think that OSAS patients have metabolic disturbance of leptin and ghrelin, which is one of factors of obesity.
