1.Vascular endothelial growth factor and its receptor in brain glioma
Cancer Research and Clinic 2006;0(09):-
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor and its receptors may be the pivotal stimulants in the process of growth and metastasis of a neoplasm. They boost the genesis of the blood vessels of brain glioma. Their expression is correlated with the grading of glioma. They are ideal targets in the treatment of inhibiting the growth of the blood vessels of brain glioma.
2.Expression of RCAS1 in Different Tumor Cell Lines
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(02):-
Objective To investigate the expression of RCAS1,which is a receptor-binding cancer antigen expressed on SiSo cells in many tumor cell lines. Methods Using real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR),Northern blot, immunohistochemical examination and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,we detected the expre-(ssion) of RCAS1 in 10 different tumor cell lines and two normal cell lines. Results The expression of RCAS1 in the tumor cell lines and the fetal renal cell line(293 cell) was detected by real-time PCR and Northern blot, but not in the normal liver cell line(LO2 cell). The results of immunohistochemical examination on the tumor cell lines and the 293 cell showed that RCAS1 existed in cytoplasma and on cell surface.Except HuH-7 cell and LO2 cell, the soluble RCAS1 protein in supernatants of the other cells was significantly more than that in DMEM(P

AIM: Using surface active agent that has wetting ability and solubilising to increase the extraction rate of curcumin. METHODS: Different surface active agents, such as span, span 60, tween 20, tween 85. SDS and CSBS, were added and then the curcumin was determined. RESULTS: When we added 0.5% sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), it could increase the extractive rate of curcumin by 16%. CONCLUSION: Different surface active agents have variable solubiitzation of different drugs. SDS can affect the extractive rate of curcumin.
5.Significance of plasma chromogranin A in diagnosis of prostate cancer
Chinese Journal of Urology 2000;0(05):-
Objective To evaluate the application of chromogranin A (CgA) as a marker in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Methods Serum chromogranin A were detected by means of ELISA technique in 35 cases of prostate carcinoma,10 cases of benign prostate hyperplasia and 30 cases of healthy subjects. Results Serum CgA [(162?12.5)ng/ml] of patients with prostatic carcinoma was significantly higher than those of healthy subjects and of BPH( P

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(12):-
Clinical pharmaceutical services include: rounds by clinical pharmacists, monitoring of dynamics and adverse effects of drugs, pharmaceutical information services and analyses on use of drugs. Considering the difficulties that clinical pharmacists have encountered in clinical pharmaceutical services like ward rounds and different clinical knowledge structures, corresponding measures have been taken to assess the work load of clinical pharmacists so as to bring into full play the role of clinical pharmacists in clinical pharmaceutical treatment and information services.

Objective To study the clinical effect and necessity of removing internal fixation after treatment of acromioclavicular dislocation (Tossy Ⅲ ) with AO clavicular hook plate. Methods From October 2001 to October 2004, 31 patients with acromioclavicular dislocation (Tossy Ⅲ ) were treated with AO clavicular hook plate and were followed up. All of their broken acromioclavicular joints were sutured and the clavicular insertions of deltoid and trapezius muscles were repaired. The coracoclavicular ligaments were sutured for only 9 patients. Their shoulder functions before and after taking out of the internal fixation were assessed by Constant and Murley evaluation and compared. Results 24 patients were followed up from 4 to 40 months after operations (averaging 22 months). There were no loosening or breakage of internal fixations. The plates were removed 12 to 27 months postoperatively (averaging 18 months) in only 9 patients. No redislocation occurred after taking out of the plates. The scores of shoulder joint function were 76.5? 8.6 and 99.5? 1.0 (P

Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the myocardial protective effects of intracoronary(IC)adenosine infusion in patients with coronary heart disease during percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 111 enrolled patients were randomised to receive infusions of saline(control group,55 patients)or adenosine(adenosine group,56 patients).10 mL saline(control group)or 300 ?g adenosine(adenosine group)was given by intracoronary(IC)injection within 1 minute. The peak level of ST-segment elevation in IC electrocardiograms(IC-ECG)and the peak level of cardiac triponin I(cTnI)was analyzed and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was measured. For the patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI),coronary flow of the infract-related artery was assessed by the method of thrombolysis in myocardial infarction grading. The peak level of sum ST-segment resolution(STR)was measured after one hour of PCI.Results The peak level of serum cTnI in adenosine group was lower than the control group(P

Objective To analyse the clinical manifestation of thoracostomach-airway fistula in order to improve the recognition. Methods The clinical information in 20 cases with thoracostomach-airway fistulas was analyzed retrospectively. Results The main clinical manifestations were choke after drinking or eating, inhalation pneumonia, fever, becoming thin ness, aridity, turbulence of water and electrolyte,et al.The stomach radiography showed thoracostomach-tracheal fistulas in six cases,thoracostomach-carina fistula in fwo cases,thoracostomach-left main bronchial fistulas in 10 cases and thoracostomach-right main bronchial fistula in two cases, vespectively. Conclusions Thoracostomach-airway fistula could be diagnosed according to the specific clinical significances and stomach radiography.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
Objective To study the clinical, imageological and pathologic characters of primary synovial chondromatosis of hip joint, and effect of open surgery. Method 12 cases of primary synovial chondromatosis of the hip joints admitted from May 1973 to May 2004 were retrospectively studied in respect to clinical manifestations, X-ray picture, and pathological findings. The effects of operation were followed up. Results Intermittent pain, swelling, limitation of hip joints were the main complaints. Mass and myatrophy near involved hip joint were discernible in a few patients. Although there was no obvious image of calcification, swelling of articular capsule was seen in X-ray film in 4 patients. CT scan showed arthroedema, loose bodies and bone erosion of the femoral head in the hip joint. The X-ray films of the other 8 patients showed obvious calcified loose bodies. All cases were diagnosed by pathology after operations. 8 cases were categorized Milgram Ⅱstage, and 4 cases Milgram Ⅲ stage. Eight patients were followed-up for a period of 1 to 7 years (mean 5 years). Recurrence occurred in 2 cases. Conclusion The diagnosis should be based on clinical characters, X-ray films and pathologic findings, and the pathology is most reliable. In order to decrease recurrence, CT or MRI examinations should be taken before the operation. X-ray monitoring should be carried out during the operation of the patient in whom loose bodies were found in X-ray film before the operation.
