2.Progress in surgical treatment of unstable sacral fractures
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2017;19(2):180-184
Treatment of sacral fractures, unstable ones in particular, has attracted more and more attention.Despite numerous classification systems for sacral fractures, the commonly used ones are Denis and Tile classifications.Stable sacral fractures deserve conservative treatment, but unstable ones should be treated surgically,by operative reduction, internal fixation to reconstruct stability of the pelvis, and prevention or relief of nerve compression. There are many methods of internal fixation for unstable sacral fractures, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. This review summarizes the progress in surgical treatment of unstable sacral fractures and makes comments on the latest surgical strategies.
3.Astragalus Injection in Combination with Chemotherapy for Malignant Tumor:A Clinical Study
China Pharmacy 2001;0(09):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the clinical efficacy of Astragalus injection in combination with chemotherapy for malignant tumor. METHODS: A total of 152 patients with malignant tumor were randomly assigned to receive Astragalus injection(30mL)which was added into 5% Glucose(250 mL) qd (iv gtt) in combination with chemotherapy(trial group,n=77) or chemotherapy alone(control group,n=75)for 2 cycles of treatment(1 cycle lasted 10~14 days).RESULTS: As compared with the control group, the trial group had a better improvement in short-term curative effect, quality of life and hematotoxicity (P
4.Biological markers of vulnerable atherosclerotic plaques
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2010;18(9):696-701
There are a number of serum biomarkers related with the process of the pathogenesis, destabilization and rupture of the atherosclerotic plaque. And thus,it is fairly important in clinical practice to identify vulnerable plaque and predict plaque rupture by detecting the expression of the serum biomarkers. This review aims at giving an overview on recent emerging biomarkers that are related to vulnerable plaque.

7.Comparison of Blood Platelet Counts between Children with Cerebral Palsy and Healthy Children
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2006;12(10):846-846
ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between the changes of the blood platelet counts (BPC) in children with cerebral palsy (CP) and pather mechanism of CP in traditional Chinese medicine.MethodsBPCs of CP children and healthy children were analyzed with statistical method.ResultsThe BPC of CP children was higher than that of the healthy children ( P<0.05).ConclusionThe BPC of CP children is higher than that of the healthy children, and this is consistent with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine about pathogenic mechanism of CP that CP is related to blood stasis.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2017;37(13):820-826
The acetabular fractures are technically challenging due to the deep location in the pelvis and low degree of exposure.Although the classic ilioinguinal approach could treat most anterior acetabulum fractures, the limited surgical field and difficulty in exposure is the main obstacle surgeons should overcome.Various approaches including extended approaches and combined anterior and posterior approaches ensure adequate exposure, but high rate of complications impede it from clinical use.The Stoppa approach has been favored by the orthopedic surgeons in recent years for the minimized surgical dissection and good exposure. It allows for extensive visualization of the pelvic brim and direct manipulation of quadrilateral plate. This approach is indicated in all anterior column and wall fractures, combined anterior column and posterior hemi-transverse fractures, selected both-column fractures, transverse and T-fractures.The utilization of the Stoppa approach developed along with the evolution of the relevant theory of acetabular fractures in the past years. The development such as the precise measurement of “safe zone” and the application of new apparatus could do great help in decreasing the complications and improving the surgical results. This article summarizes the relevant literatures and provides a review of the advances in the Stoppa approach in acetabular fractures.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2013;37(6):407-410
The paper proposed a new method to design and fabricate a flexible neural microelectrode arrays (MEA) for retinal prosthesis, the ion-beam technology was introduced to decrease the width of conductive wires and the distances between wires, a high density MEA (120 microelectrodes with a matrix of 10 x 12) was fabricated on a single layer of polymer from this. The MEA was proved to possess a fine electrochemical property. In vitro test, the average impedance of MEA on 1 kHz was 16 k omega +/- 2 k omega and the average phase difference was -85 degrees +/-30 degrees.

10.Status and advance in chemotherapy for biliary tract carcinoma
Wanyuan BAO ; Gang SHE ; Feng ZHU
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2014;20(10):758-761
Biliary tract carcinoma is a rare cancer with poor prognosis.Although having limited clinical benefit, chemotherapy represents the cornerstone of management for patients with inoperable and postoperative recurrence of cholangiocarcinoma.Substantial breakthroughs in the study of chemotherapy for treatment in advanced cholangiocarcinoma are rare due to the heterogeneity of cholangiocarcinoma, the use of various chemotherapeutic agents and the small size of existing patient cohorts.Currently,no standard chemotherapeutic strategies exist for cholangiocarcinoma, though some combinatorial stratagies, such as gemcitabine plus cisplatin, have proven to prolong survival significantly.Still, further studies are needed to improve the treatment of patients with biliary tract cancer.
