Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(02):-
Objective To study the effect of CO 2 pneumoperitoneum and enteric disturbance on serum ?-endorphin (?-EP) in SD rats, in order to investigate their influence on peri-operative stress responses in SD rats. Methods A total of 120 SPF-grade male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups with 30 rats in each group. The four groups received CO 2 pneumoperitoneum (Group A), a 5 cm abdominal incision (Group B), a 5 cm abdominal incision with gastroenteric disturbance (Group C), and intraperitoneal anesthesia (Group D or Control Group), respectively. Concentrations of serum ?-EP of these groups were measured 10 min, 20 min, and 40 min after the beginning of surgery, respectively. Results Concentrations of serum ?-EP in the Group A 10 min, 20 min, and 40 min after the beginning of surgery were 274 7?66 6 pg/dl, 157 3?63 8 pg/dl, and 163 9?74 5 pg/dl, respectively, which were all extremely significantly higher than those in the Control Group ( P

Objective To analyse and conclude the MRI features of intracranial germ cell tumours so that to improve the diagnosis of this disease. Methods 15 cases of germ cell tumours verified by operation and pathology were reviewed and analyzed. All cases were undergone plain and contrast-enhanced MRI,the fat restrained sequence was performed if necessary. Results The location of tumors, six were in pineal region, six were in sellar region (germinoma, teratoma and choriocarcinoma in pineal and sellar region were all separately 3, 2 and 1), two were in basal ganglia (germinoma), and one was in right lateral ventricle (teratoma). Conclusion MRI is very valuable in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of intracranial germ cell tumours.

OBJECTIVETo explore the molecular mechanisms of main active ingredients of Siwu decoction analogous formulae for treating primary dysmenorrhea of gynecology blood stasis syndrome by network pharmacology study, and to investigate the correlations between multi-compounds, multi targets and multi pathways.
METHODMajor active compounds from Siwu decoction analogous formulae, including ligustilide, butylidene phthalide, senkyunolide, ferulic acid, gallic acid, peoniflorin, jioglutin A, catalpol, transanethole, zingiberone, commiphoric acid, eugenol, isorhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside, wulingzhic acid, alpha-cyperone, cyperene, costunolide, costic acid, tetrahydropalmatine, protopine, amygdalin, 24-methylene cycloartanol, oleic acid, linoleic acid, 3-p-coumaroylquinic acid, hydroxysafflor yellow A, coptisine, berberine, jatrorrhizine, baicalein, baicalin, wogonin were collected to build component-protein networks based on PharmMapper database. The targets information access was used to construct and visualize components-targets-pathways network model using the kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) pathway database and Cytoscape software.
RESULT AND CONCLUSIONSerine threonine protein kinases play an important role in the process of cells. They were potential targets in the effect of Siwu decoction analogous formulae. The effect of main active ingredients involved 51 the pathway. Besides the same ones, Shaofu Zhuyu decoction had more effect on lipid metabolism, Xiangfu Siwu decoction on amino acid metabolism pathways, Taohong Siwu decoction on carbohydrate metabolism, while, Qinlian Siwu decoction on ErbB, VEGF signal transduction pathway. Siwu decoction and its derived formulae not only had common targets and pathways, but also had their own emphasis. This reflected the formulae effect mode of multi-ingredients, multi-targets and multi-pathways. It may provide clues to deeper study of molecular mechanism of Siwu decoction analogous formulae action.

The heptadecatungstodiphosphate substituted by L a(Ⅲ) with the formula α2-K7P2W17O61(La.OH2 ) (P2W 17La) was prepared by vacant refilling method. The anion of single substitu ted Dawson-type tungstophosphate salt was doped into the polypyrrole (PPY) film on a glassy carbon electrode (GC) by electrochemical method to prepare the chem ically modified electrode (P2W17La/PPY/GC). It maintains not only t he electrochemical activity and electrocatalytic property of P2W17L a, but also has good stability and sensitivity. In 0.50 mol/L HCl solution, th e first cathodic peak of P2W17La doping in polypyrrole film can cat alyze well the electroreduction of nitrite. The catalytic current was proporti onal to the concentration of nitrite between 6.0×10-5 and 1.0×10-2 mol/L.

Objective To investigate the relationship between in vivo anti-tumor efficacy of Shenqi injection and its effect on immunologic function in H22 tumor-bearing model mice, and explore the cellular immunologic mechanism of Shenqi injection in inhibiting tumor growth. Methods Three different doses of Shenqi injection were given to H22 tumor-bearing model mice in treatment groups. The tumor growth inhibitory rate(IR) and the index of phagocytosis of peritoneal macrophage were calculated.MTT assay was used to observe the effect of Shenqi injection on spleen lymphocytes stimulated by ConA in vitro separated from H22 tumor-bearing mice.Murine serum IL-2 and IFN-? were detected by means of ELISA assay. Results IR was significantly reduced in two treatment groups compared with that of the model mice(60.72%,48.65%,P

Objective To study protein variation between PtenL/LMEFs and Pten△/△MEFs cells. Methods Two-dimensional electrophoresis(2-DE) was employed to compare the differential expression proteins between PtenL/LMEFs and Pten△/△MEFs cells.Six differential expression proteins were digested in gel by enzyme and the mass of generated peptides was measured by matrix assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS).The data obtained from peptide mass fingerprinting(PMF) were searched using the Internet available database and five proteins were identified. Results Compared with that of PtenL/LMEFs,expression level of proteins including phosphoglycerate mutase 1(PGAM1) and peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase C(PPIC) was up-regulated,whereas expression level of Transgelin 2 was down-regulated in Pten△/△MEFs cells.B and F proteins were both identified to be peroxiredoxin-6.They had similar molecular weight but different PI which might be caused by post-translation modification.B protein was only expressed in Pten△/△MEFs cells. Conclusion The protein profile of Pten△/△MEFs cells displayed obvious difference compared to that of PtenL/LMEFs cells. The results implied that various distinct different proteins might lead to cancer.
