1. The experimental study on the cell apoptosis and expression of Bcl-2 protein in intracerebral hemorrhage in model of rats
Academic Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University 2006;18(1):61-64
Objective: To study whether there is the apoptosis of neural cells and the expression of Bcl-2 protein in intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) in model of rats, for the further understanding the mechanism of the delayed damage of the neural cells around the hematoma after ICH. Methods: Fifty SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups, ten in each. With the Group A as the control, the rest 40 were used to set up intracerebral hemorrhage model. The brains were taken out at 12th, 24th, 48th and 72th hours, respectively. Apoptosis cells were detected with terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL), and the expression of Bcl-2 protein was detected with immunochemical stainging methed (SP). Results: In the control group, no apoptosis cells and Bcl-2 protein were detected. In rest groups, the apoptosis cells and Bcl-2 protein were expressed in different degree. Apoptosis rates verified and corresponded with the time after ICH, with the peak at 48th-72th hour after hemorrhage. The peak rate of apoptosis cells was (24.50±2.69)% and Bcl-2 protein expression was (20.76±1.97)%. There was significant difference between the experimental groups and control (P<0.05) , and no linear relationship between the apoptosis rate and the expression of Bcl-2 protein. Conclusion: Apoptosis may be an important factor in the secondary trauma of ICH. There is a time leg after hemorrhage. All this is instructive to clinical treatment in time. Bcl-2 protein keeps increasing in a certain time after hemorrhage, but not synchronize with the cell apoptosis. This indicates that bcl-2 has the effect to reduce the apoptosis of neural cells.
2.Continuous flow apneic ventilation with nitrous oxide-oxygen or oxygen in dogs
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 1996;0(08):-
To investigate the difference of CO_2 transport during continuous flow apneic ventilation (CFAV) between with 100% 0_2 and with 60%N_2O-40% O_2. Method: Twelve dogs were randomly divided into equally group N_2O and group O_2. A catheter was introduced into each main-stem bronchus using a fiberoptic bronchoscope and endotraeheal tube positioned in place for CFAV. With 60%N_2O-40% O_2 in group N_2O and 100% O_2 in group O_2 lungs were ventilated at flow rate of 1L?kg~(-1)?min~(-1) Blood gas analysis, HR, MAP and SaO_2 were recorded every 30min during period of 180min. Result: In group O_2, PaCO_2 increased from 4.88?0.63kPa to 8.73?1.11kPa. In Group N_2O, PaCO_2 were increased gradually from 5.51?0.94kPa to 6.18?0.67kPa. There was significant difference in PaCO_2 between the two groups (P
3.Attaching importance to protection and reconstruction of spinal stability and performing spinal surgery vigorously and assuredly
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2016;(2):157-160
Spine surgery is a branch of science bridging neurosurgery and orthopedics. In our country, spinal neurosurgery started relatively late and its development is unbalanced regionally despite rapid development in recent years. In this paper, we make an objective evaluation of the development and present situation of spinal neurosurgery in China and its existing problems. We also introduce some theoretical knowledge about stability of the spine as well as some methods commonly used in clinic to protect and reconstruct spinal stability. We urge neurosurgeons to pay more attention to the learning of and research on spinal stability and biomechanics, and perform spinal surgery vigorously and assuredly.

7. Design, synthesis, and antifungal activity of 3-substituted triazole derivatives
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;31(10):1114-1119
Objective: To study the in vitro antifungal activity of triazole alcohols by introduction of 1, 2, 3-triazole as the side chain. Methods: Twenty-one novel triazole alcohol compounds were designed, synthesized, and characterized by 1HNMR and MS spectra. The in vitro antifungal activities of the compounds were evaluated using eight kinds of pathogenic fungi. Results: All the synthesized compounds exhibited certain antifungal activities. The MIC 80 value of compound 7 1-(1H-1, 2, 4-triazole-1-yl)-2-(2, 4-difluorophenyl)-3-[N,N-(1-substituted-benzyl-4-methylene-1H-1,2,3-triazole)] against Candida albicans was 0.25 μg/ml, with its activity being 4 times that of fluconazole. The MIC80 value of compound VI 1-(1H-1,2,4-triazole- 1-yl)-2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-3-(N,N-dipropargyl)-2-propanols against Candida albicans was 0.0156μg/ml, with its activity being 64 times that of fluconazole and 4 times that of itraconazole. Conclusion: The 1,2,3-triazole can be efficiently introduced by intermolecular 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition. Large side chains may be a disadvantage for improving the antifungal activity of the title compounds.

Purpose:In order to determine the indications for adjuvant treatment in node-negative breast cancer. Methods:We analyzed 233 cases of node-negative breast cancer. Results:The recurrence ratio of node-negative breast cancer was 7.3 percent. The prognosis was connected with age, menstrual history , position, diameter of tumor and pathology. Among invasive lobule cancer, GradeⅢ and lymphocyte-negative cancer, the recurrence ratio was 28 percent in patients with three factors, 16 percent in patient with two factors, 7 percent in patients with one factor.Conclusions:Node-negative breast cancer cases with high recurrence factors need adjuvant treatment.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1993;0(01):-
ObjectiveTo study the rationale of breast-conserving therapy (BCT) for the treatment of early-stage breast cancer. MethodsFrom March 1994 to March 1995, 25 cases of early-stage breast cancer were treated with BCT. The indication was (1) tumor size 3.0 cm; (3) preoperative mammograms were performed in order to exclude multifocal cancer and the tumor with extensive calcification. Tumors were removed with at least 2 cm normal breast tissue margin (evaluated by frozen biopsy), and the axillary nodes were dissected in levels 1 and 2. Two weeks postoperatively patients were treated with radio-therapy to control possible microscopic residual foci. The breast cosmetic results and quality of life (QOL) were analyzed. ResultsAll cases were followed-up for an average of 64.1 months. No differences at 5 year′s survival and local recurrence were found between patients undergoing BCT and those with radical mastectomy.ConclusionThe result of early-stage breast cancer treated with breast-conserving therapy is satisfactory, this therapy is superior to radical mastectomy in terms of improving QOL under condition of strict patient selection and plan design.

Biliary tract carcinoma is a rare cancer with poor prognosis.Although having limited clinical benefit, chemotherapy represents the cornerstone of management for patients with inoperable and postoperative recurrence of cholangiocarcinoma.Substantial breakthroughs in the study of chemotherapy for treatment in advanced cholangiocarcinoma are rare due to the heterogeneity of cholangiocarcinoma, the use of various chemotherapeutic agents and the small size of existing patient cohorts.Currently,no standard chemotherapeutic strategies exist for cholangiocarcinoma, though some combinatorial stratagies, such as gemcitabine plus cisplatin, have proven to prolong survival significantly.Still, further studies are needed to improve the treatment of patients with biliary tract cancer.
