1.The growth-inhibitory effect of endometrial carcinoma cell line HEC-1A induced by somatostatin receptor family

Objective To study the expression of somatostatin receptor family in endometrial carcinoma cell line HEC-1A, as well as the growth and apoptosis of HEC-1A cell line when it was treated with somatostatin analogue RC-160. Methods RT-PCR was used to examine the existence of somatostatin receptors on the HEC-1A cells. The anti-proliferative effect of RC-160 on the growth of HEC-1A cells was detected by using BrdU incorporation test. TUNEL staining was used to find out whether apoptosis was involved in the inhibitory process. Results All the five somatostatin receptor subtypes were expressed in HEC-1A cells. RC-160 inhibited the HEC-1A cell growth stimulated by serum in a dose-dependent manner. The effect was maximal at the concentration of 10 -5 mol/L after 48 hours' treatment. No apoptosis was detected. Conclusion Somatostatin analogue RC-160 can inhibit the proliferation of endometrial carcinoma cell line HEC-1A through binding to the somatostatin receptors on the cells. It seems that apoptosis is not the major cause of the inhibition.

3.THE EXPRESSION OF p16 AND CYCLIN D1 IN PROLIFERATIVE ENDOMETRIUM AND ENDOMETRIAL CARCINOMA

Objective To studythe role of p16 and cyclin in the genesis and development of endometrial car-cinoma. Methods 12 cases of normal endometrium, 22 cases of proliferative endometrium and 41 cases of endome- trial carcinoma were detected for the expression of p16 and cyclin D1 by means of immunohistochemical S-P. Results In normal endometrium p16 was expressed while cyclm D1was almost negative in the proliferative phase, but both of them were negative in the secretory phase. Among the groups of the simple and compound hyperplasia, the atypical hyperplasia and the endometrial carcinoma,the expression of p16 showed a descending tendency, while the expression of cyclin showed an ascending tendency. In endometrial carcinomas the expression of p16 was significantly lower than that of normal endometrium and proliferative endometrium (P<0. 01 ,P<0.05). However, the expression of cy- clin in proliferate endometrium and endometrial carcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal endometri- un (P<0. 05,P<0. 01). The overexpression of cyclin D1 in the atypical hyperplasia group was obviously different from that in the simple and compound hyperplasia group (P<0.01). In endometrial carcinoma,the expression of p16 was decreasing with the descending of cell differentiate degree, on the opposite, the expression of cyclin was in-creased and there existed a negative correlation between them. It was also observed that the overexpression of cyclin was significant different between and ( P <0. 01 ). Conclusionp1 6 is a negative regulating factor of cell cycle in endometrial carcinoma, while cyclin is a positive one. Both of them are important in the genesis and devel-opment of endometrial carcinoma. The Iow expression of p1 6 and the overexpression of cyclin are related with the malicious biological behaviors of endometrial carcinoma and maybe play an important role in the judgement of prog- nosis. Overexpression of cyclin may be an earlier molecular event in the genesis of endometrial carcinoma.
4.The expression and significance of p53 and CDK4 in human endometrial adenocarcinoma

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of p53 and CDK4 proteins in human endometrial adenocarcinoma. Methods Expressions of p53 and CDK4 proteins were detected by immunohistochemical technique in 32 cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma. Results The positive expression rate of p53 protein in the 32 cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma was 43.8% (14/32), and the positive rate of p53 in endometrial adenocarcinoma was negatively related to pathological grade, myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis (P 0.05). The positive expression rate of CDK4 was 68.8% (22/32), and CDK4 expression was significantly associated with myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis (P 0.05) . 5.Exploration and Application of Simulation Teaching Management in Obstetrics and Gynecology Practice Teaching

Objective To this study is intended to discuss its feasibility and advances in clinical techniques of obstetrics and gynecology. Methods Based on our hospital clinical teaching platform, a total of 348 medical students or clinical practicum doctors were randomly divided into PBL (Problem-based learning) traning group and clinical practice teaching mode group,respectively, after a period of three weeks of practices,the training effects are estimated by questionnaires, theoretical and clinical operations. Results After training, 174 students in simulation training group showed better in theory test,clinical operations and standardized patients examination than traditional clinical students. Conclusion The establishment of standardized simulation teaching system can effectively complement the lack of clinical practice, teaching resources, solve the visualization is not enough, the students hands-on opportunities for small problems,can enhance the training effect and improve the effectiveness of teaching.
6.Expression and significance of chemokine SDF-1 and its receptor CXCR4 in human epithelial ovarian tumours
