Journal of Xinxiang Medical College 2005;22(4):302-304
Objective To observe the effect of marin algae polysaccharide derivant on the osteoporotic model of the rats. Methods Forty six-month-old female Wistar rats were selected to duplicate the osteoporotic model induced by retinoic acid and performed with marine algae polysaccharide derivant. The rats were randomly divided into two groups: experiment group treated with 10 mg marine algae polysaccharide derivant10mg per day by oral, control group treated with 10 mg glucose per day by oral. The effect of marine algae poly saccharide derivant on osteoporosis were evaluated by morphometry. Results After intake of polysaccharide, the mean trabecular plate density (Tb.N),the mean trabecular plate thickness(Tb.Th),and the percent trabecular area (Tb.Ar%) of t he experiment group, which were treated by polysaccharide were significantly increased more than that of the control group model(P<0.01). Conclusion These results indicate that polysaccharide can increase bone mass and has a therapeutic and preventional effect on the osteoporotic model of the rats induced by retinoic acid.
2.Study on Karyomorphometry and Proliferating Rate of Cutaneous Malignant Lymphomas
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1995;0(04):-
The same paraffin-embedded specimen of skin biopsy from each of 29 patients with cutaneous malignant lymphomas (CML) and 7 patients with cutaneous lymphoid infiltrates (CLI) was estimated simultaneously and retrospectively by karyomorphometry and proliferating rate assay. The results showed that the differences in nuclear volumes (NVs), count of argyrophilic nucleolar organizer regions(AgNORs) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA-PC10) indices (PC10Is) between CML and CLI were statistically very significant. The NVs and PC10Is were correlated to the death rate of patients. NVs were also correlated to AgNORs.
3.Determination of Lead in Drinking Water by Intermittent Flow Hydride Generation Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry
Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(05):-
Objective To establish a method for determination of trace lead in drinking water by intermittent flow HG-AFS was developed. Methods The conditions for K3Fe(CN)6-KBH4-HCl system of generation of PbH4 were optimized and interference of coexisting ions were tested. Results The fluorescence signal of blank solution was decreased evidently by treating K3Fe(CN)6 with activated carbon and the detection limit was effectively improved. The interference of coexisting ions could be suppressed in some degrees in the presence of K3[Fe(CN)6]. Under the optimized conditions, the detection limit of this method was 0.10 ?g/L and RSD(n=6) was in the rang 0.4%-3.8%. The recovery rate was 95.0%-112.0%. Conclusion This method was accurate, simple, sensitive and suitable for determination of trace lead in drinking water.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2021;37(5):352-358
Objective:To translate the English version of Edmonton Frail Scale into Chinese version and to test its reliability and validity. Methods:The translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the English version of Edmonton Frail Scale were generated by Beaton's translation and back-translation method. From April to August of 2019, at the department of geratology of the First affiliated Hospital of China Medical University in Shenyang, a sample of 303 hospitalized elderly adults who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected via convenience sampling method to test its psychometric properties. Results:The scale level content validity index and item level content validity index of the Chinese version of the Edmonton Frail Scale were both 1.0. The criterion validity between the Chinese version of Edmonton Frail Scale and the Tilburg Frailty Indicator was 0.723 ( P<0.01), confirmed by Pearson correlation coefficients. Using the Tilburg Frailty Indicator as an external criterion, the Edmonton Frail Scale showed satisfactory diagnostic accuracy for frailty (area under the curve=0.924). The optimal cut-point for frailty was 6 (sensitivity: 77.6%, specificity: 94.7%). More frail individuals were recognized by the Chinese version of Edmonton Frail Scale among older and female participants than their counterparts( P<0.05). The Cronbach'α of the Chinese version of Edmonton Frail Scale was 0.599, the test-retest reliability within a 7-day interval of the scale was 0.822. Conclusions:The Chinese version of Edmonton Frail Scale presents good validity and reliability and can apply to Chinese hospitalized elderly people.
5. Estimation of parameters in stratified cluster sampling on randomized response technique for sensitive question survey
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(2):170-177
Objective: To explore a scientific, complicated sampling method and corresponding formulas for sensitive question survey. Methods: Cochran W. G.'s classic sampling theories, two randomized response technique(RRT) models, total probability formulas, and properties of mean and variance were used in this study. Results: Formulas for the estimation of the population proportion and its variance for dichotomous sensitive questions on Greenberg model in cluster sampling and stratified cluster sampling were deduced. Formulas for the estimation of the population mean and its variance for quantitative sensitive question on the additive constant model in cluster sampling and stratified cluster sampling were deduced. Our survey methods and formulas were successfully applied in surveying the pre-marriage sex and cheating in examination in Soochow University. Conclusion: Our survey methods and formulas on two RRT models for sensitive question survey in cluster sampling and stratified cluster sampling have high reliablility.
