Objective To discuss the influence of comprehensive rehabilitative nursing by traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)the neural function impairment, activity of daily living(ADL)and accompanying complications of patients in acute phase of cerebral apoplexy. Methods 238 patients from 3 cooperative hospitals from September in 2004 to September in 2006 were randomly chosen and divided into the test group(117 cases)and the control group(121 cases). The medication treatment in the two groups were basically the same. The comprehensive rehabilitative nursing with traditional Chinese medicine was adopted in the test group and the control group received routine nursing intervention. The clinical nerve function limitation score(CNS)and the ADL were evaluated within the first week and the 4th week after intervention. The incidence rate of complications was also determined. Results The CNS and ADL results in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.01).The incidence rate was lower than that in the observation group. Conclusion The comprehensive rehabilitative nursing by TCM could facilitate the functional recovery of limbs and improve activity of daily living. This intervention could be applied in clinic, family and community because of its characteristics such as simplicity, feasibility and little adverse effect.

Objective To investigate the risk factors of postmenopausal osteoporosis ( PMOP) in Chongqing region, and provide the theoretical basis for osteoporosis prevention and treatment. Methods A hospital-based case-control study was conducted and standardized questionnaire was applied in this project. All patients were informed of the purpose of this study and signed an informed consent form. The protocol and consent form were approved by the Ethics Committee of Third Military Medical University. Non-conditional logistic model was used to estimate the association between risk factors and PMOP. Results After adjustment for some potential confounding factors, multivariate non-conditional logistic regression analysis indicated that family history of hip fracture ( OR = 8. 567,95% CI 3. 463 to 12. 620) ,lower body mass index ( OR = 3. 081,95% CI 1. 344 to 5. 632) ,and parities ( OR = 2. 539,95% CI 1. 263 to 4. 175) were significantly positive correlated with the incidence of PMOP. However, frequently exercise ( OR = 0. 276,95% CI 0. 152 to 0. 730) ,tea drinking ( OR =0. 354,95%CI 0. 209 to 0. 764) and older at menopause ( OR =0. 621,95%CI 0. 327 to 0. 942) were significantly negative correlated with it. Conclusion Family history of hip fracture, lower body mass index and higher parities are the risk factors of PMOP in Chongqing region. Besides, frequent exercise, tea drinking and proper endogenous estrogen level are the protective factors.

Objective To investigate the role of the ATP binding box C subfamily 2 transporter protein (ABCC2) gene in drug-resistant epilepsy. Methods From February 2014 to February 2018,204 epileptic patients were treated in our hospital, including 41 cases of drug resistance epilepsy (drug resistance group),163 cases of non drug resistant epilepsy (sensitive group). The rs717620 polymorphism of ABCC2 gene and the level of P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in cerebrospinal fluid and serum were detected in two groups. Results The proportion of genotype TT and gene frequency T in the drug resistant group were 24.39% and 41.46%,respectively,which were significantly higher than those in the sensitive group (P < 0.05).The concentration of P-gp in cerebrospinal fluid of drug resistant group was (21.03 ± 4.21) ng/ml,which was significantly higher than that of the sensitive group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in serum P-gp concentration between the drug resistant group and the sensitive group (P > 0.05);The concentration of P-gp in cerebrospinal fluid of patients with genotype TT in drug resistance group was (24.03 ± 3.57) ng/ml,which was significantly higher than that of type CC and CT (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the concentration of P-gp in the patients with different genotypes in the drug resistant group (P > 0.05).Conclusions The rs717620 polymorphism of ABCC2 gene may be associated with drug-resistant epilepsy, and may be related to P-gp level in the cerebrospinal fluid.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of amphotericinB (AmB) on migration and invasion of esophageal carcinoma Eca109 cells exposed to hypoxia and explore the molecular mechanisms.
METHODSRoutinely cultured esophageal carcinoma Eca109 cells were treated with 0, 1.25, 2.5, or 5 µg/ml AmB in hypoxic condition (3% O2, 5% CO2, and 92% N2) for 24 h. The cell migration and invasion were assessed by cell scratch test and Transwell chamber assay, respectively. Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blotting were used to detect the mRNA and protein expressions of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α), matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), and E-cadherin in the cells, respectively.
RESULTSCompared with the control cells, the cells treated with different doses of AmB showed attenuated ability of migration and invasion (P<0.05). AmB treatment resulted in significantly lowered mRNA and protein expressions of MMP-2 (P<0.05) and increased expressions of E-cadherin (P<0.05); the protein expression of HIF-1α decreased significantly in cells after AmB treatment (P<0.05) but its mRNA levels showed no significant changes (P>0.05).
CONCLUSIONAmB can suppress the migration and invasion of esophageal carcinoma Eca109 cells in hypoxic microenvironment possibly by regulating the expressions of HIF-1α, MMP-2 and E-cadherin.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of myocardial work related parameters in coronary ischemia patients with coronary artery disease(CAD)coronary ischemia using non-invasive left ventricular pressure strain loop(PSL),taking fraction flow reservation(FFR)as the gold standard. Methods From December 2020 to December 2021,53 clinically suspected CAD patients were prospectively enrolled. All patients underwent echocardiography, invasive coronary angiography and FFR measurement.According to the results of coronary angiography, patients were divided into myocardial ischemia group(n=24,FFR≤0.80)and non-myocardial ischemia group(n=29,FFR>0.80).PSL was used for off-line analysis to obtain the global work index(GWI),global constructive work(GCW),global wasted work(GWW),global work efficiency(GWE),global positive work(GPW),and global systolic constructive work(GSCW)and other myocardial work parameters. The differences of parameter values between the two groups were compared. The diagnostic efficacy of work parameters in myocardial ischemia was analyzed by ROC curve. Results Compared with the non-myocardial ischemia group,GWI,GCW,GPW and GSCW were significantly decreased in the myocardial ischemia group at the 18-,16-,and 12-segment levels(P<0.001).The ROC curve showed that the AUC results of GWI,GCW,GPW,GSCW at the 18-segment level were 0.803(95%CI 0.679-0.927),0.807(95%CI 0.687-0.928),0.822(95%CI 0.708-0.936),0.819(95%CI 0.703-0.935).The optimal cut-off value of GWI was 1 676.3 mmHg%,and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of predicting myocardial ischemia were 70.8%,86.2%and 79.2%,respectively.The optimal cut-off value of GCW was 1 999.4 mmHg%,and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of predicting myocardial ischemia were 75.0%,82.8%and 79.2%,respectively.Conclusions Analyzing myocardial work using PSL has good significance for screening suspected myocardial ischemia in CAD patients.
