China Pharmacy 2017;28(11):1513-1515
OBJECTIVE:To observe analgesic efficacy of oxycodone acetaminophen after posterior lumbar fusion, and to opti-mize spinal postoperative analgesia plan. METHODS:In retrospective study,120 patients underwent posterior lumbar fusion were selected from the Affiliated People's Hospital of Hubei Medical College during Jun. 2013-Jun. 2014,and then divided into observa-tion group and control group according to therapy plan, with 60 cases in each group. Observation group was given oxycodone acet-aminophen 330 mg orally 6 h after surgery, and then 330 mg orally on 1st,2nd day after surgery, tid. Control group was given celecoxib 200 mg 6 h after surgery, and then 200 mg on 1st,2nd day after surgery, bid. Postoperative analgesic efficacy (VAS score) at resting state and active state, postoperative gastrointestinal motility recovery (the time to flatus) and the occurrence of ADR were observed in 2 groups after surgery. RESULTS:Whether at the resting state or the active state 24,48,72,120 h after surgery,VAS score of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the time to flatus and the incidence of ADR between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Oral administration of oxycodone acetaminophen possesses good effect to relieve spinal postoperative pain, showing fast and safe analgesic efficacy.

AIM: To investigate proliferation and apoptosis of cultured endothelial cell (ECV-304 cell line) induced by varied concentrations of oxidized low density lipoprotein (ox-LDL). METHODS: Cell morphology, Typan blue test, MTT test, LDH release test, flow cytometry and micro-molecular weight DNA fragment gel electrophoresis of apoptosis were used for the detection of the cytotoxic effects of ox-LDL on ECV-304 cell line. RESULTS: 0 1, 1, 10 mg/L ox-LDL could promote proliferation of ECV-304 cells. When the concentration of ox-LDL reached up to 100 mg/L and above, the distinct cytotoxic effect appeared. Further study showed that the apoptosis rate of endothelial cells, induced by ox-LDL of 150 mg/L and 200 mg/L for 12 hours, are 15 86% and 21 89%, respectively. 18 h and above hours after incubation, the apoptosis rate began to decrease and rate of necrosis increased. CONCLUSION: ox-LDL has strong cytotoxic effects on endothelial cells and could give rise to different pathologic process, such as proliferation, apoptosis prophase, apoptosis and necrosis.

Objective:
To investigate the mental health status of railway female workers and related influencing factors, and to provide a scientific strategy for labor protection regulations in railway female workers.
Methods:
Cluster sampling was used to select 5033 female workers from Jinan, Nanning, Qinghai-Tibet, and Wuhan railway systems in China from January to August, 2016. A uniform reproductive health questionnaire, as well as the Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90) , was used to investigate their general information (age, marital status, education level, and family income) , work type (day shift, night shift, or work on shift) , work position, and the presence or absence of exposure to occupational hazardous factors. The score on each factor of SCL-90 and the positive rate of mental health status were calculated.
Results:
The positive rate of mental health status was 10.6% in railway female workers. The workers exposed to occupational hazardous factors had a significantly higher positive rate of mental health status than those not exposed to occupational hazardous factors (14.20%

Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics of patients with lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma/Waldenstr?m macroglobulinemia (LPL/WM), and the diagnosis and optimal treatment of LPL/WM.Methods:The clinical data of 13 LPL/WM patients treated in Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University from January 2013 to June 2018 were retrospectively analyzed, and the literature was reviewed. Results:The median age of 13 patients was 60 years old (35-79 years old). There were 12 males and 1 female. Initial symptom was fatigue or edema of both lower limbs for majority of patients. All patients had immunoglobulin M (IgM) monoclonal, 3 of them had elevated immunoglobulin G (IgG) level, including 1 patient with monoclonal IgG. LDH was increased in 2 patients. Coombs test was positive in 5 patients. MyD88 gene mutation status was detected in 8 patients, of which gene mutation in 5 patients was positive. Among 13 patients, 1 patient lost follow-up, 3 patients died, 9 patients were alive with the median survival of 36 months (19-81 months). Conclusions:Incidence of LPL/WM is relatively low with a generally indolent evolution, but heterogeneity is not negligible. Few patients have poor treatment response with a quick disease progress. The high-risk patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation after remission-induction chemotherapy may improve the prognosis.

Based on near infrared spectroscopy and high performance liquid chromatography, this paper established the regression relationship between near infrared spectroscopy and index component content of Huoxiang Zhengqi oral liquid, so as to realize the rapid detection of index component content based on near infrared spectroscopy. Magnolol, honokiol and hesperidin were used as the quality indexes of Huoxiang Zhengqi oral liquid. After using the first derivative and normalization pretreatment method, characteristic variables were screened by CARS, and the correction model was finally established by partial least-squares regression (PLSR) method. The method accuracy was evaluated with the external validation, and the prediction results were tested for significance. The results indicated that when the near infrared spectrum was scanned through the bottle, the model's correlation coefficients of prediction (

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection can cause acute respiratory distress syndrome, hypercoagulability, hypertension, and multiorgan dysfunction. Effective antivirals with safe clinical profile are urgently needed to improve the overall prognosis. In an analysis of a randomly collected cohort of 124 patients with COVID-19, we found that hypercoagulability as indicated by elevated concentrations of D-dimers was associated with disease severity. By virtual screening of a U.S. FDA approved drug library, we identified an anticoagulation agent dipyridamole (DIP) , which suppressed SARS-CoV-2 replication . In a proof-of-concept trial involving 31 patients with COVID-19, DIP supplementation was associated with significantly decreased concentrations of D-dimers ( < 0.05), increased lymphocyte and platelet recovery in the circulation, and markedly improved clinical outcomes in comparison to the control patients. In particular, all 8 of the DIP-treated severely ill patients showed remarkable improvement: 7 patients (87.5%) achieved clinical cure and were discharged from the hospitals while the remaining 1 patient (12.5%) was in clinical remission.
